Most Igbos have this habit of supporting their own irrespective of crime or allegation against him, also, Federal Govt is always wrong and Igboman/woman is always right.... Igbos should follow the lead of the yorubas and the hausas they dont support those guilty. For example Dasuki is still locked up if he was an igboman they will say he is innocent... although i am not supporting the endless detention.
tokadigbo: Guys, we are all educated on one way or the other and it’s good to know the facts before we comment and condemn one party over the other.
GTB financed importation of Goods for innoson. Innoson forged the bank’s Signature and stamps to clear the Goods from the ports. Efcc and police investigations have confirmed this. Till this minute, original shipping documents are with GTB. How did the Goods leave the port? Innoson should answer that question.
Rather than pay his debt to GTB, he filed an action against the bank alleging excess charges. This is a purely commercial issue which is currently before the courts and yet to be fully determined. The issue Efcc arrayed him for is forgery. Are u saying a criminal should go free because he is an indigenous vehicle manufacturer? Don’t forget, not just Innoson is facing criminal prosecution. Even the shipping company and shipping agents that facilitated the fraud are not left out of the investigation.
GTB and innoson should conclude their civil matter in court , while the law enforcement agents should be allowed to do their job as far as the issue of crime and fraud is concerned.
Folks like you strengthen my faith in the Nigeria go survive dream. God bless you my broda.
All the Nigerian Jet riding pastors helping one another cannot in any way heal this boy but science, technology healed him. We have more prayer centres than learning centers in Nigeria.
ANNOY: she still has time to pose for the pose for the camera. I spit on lack of knowledge and understanding.
You are the one lacking in knowledge and understanding. She has liberty to dress as she likes.... make person treat my sister this way, na sambisa style we go take settle am. Idiots that cannot mind dem business... how dare person dey waka her own jeje and another person dey raise her skirt up say because the skirt is too short? who are you to make a judgement about the length of her skirt? If the lady get boyfriend wey be SARS now and he goes there and beat shit out of those brain dead idiots they will say SARS are crazy...
kimbraa: It's a beautiful Saturday morning and this topic is dead and gone. Wonder why you're dragging issues, pained?. I don't need a constant reminder of whether I'm intelligent or dumb 'cause I know myself better and it's evident in my input on this forum. Now, fùck off! Haven't got the time to waste on some attention seeker.
i liked the way you began, beautiful saturday morning.... Yes i was pained you took a swipe at dingbang over something in my opinion, he is right and you are in the wrong. I am not an attention seeker and i no follow you quarrel, i just stated the obvious, i rest my case, Peace.
kimbraa: Of course, the girl is frustrated, and I understand she went through an abusive childhood, and wouldn't add salt to injury.
Telling you you're shallow was the truth of the matter and not an insult if you failed to grasp what I said. You need thinking the most.
Whoa... i thought you'd mentioned you're done with this topic now you're gonna call Dingbang shallow? naaa you are the one making an ass of yourself with your "assumptions". Again i quote another of Ginaz's comment that is applicable here, there is a difference between sounding intelligent and being intelligent. You are far from the later..
kimbraa: Just so we're straight. When next you appear on my mention, there's really no point in mentioning my other account. I'm actually done with this topic.
Alcatraz005: Why are women like this? See how they gathered against kimbraaa because she broke the ladies’ code. How many Nigerian women (whether rich or poor) would spend their money for the family when the man too has money. The inference that can be drawn from Facebook post in point is that the lady is talking about spending her “rich” husband’s money and she is spoiling for war with her mother in law.
Well done kimbraaa, your type are rare in these perilous times.
I now wait for the bashing from Nigerian women.
Alcatraz005: Bros, you are not correct sir... do me a favour.... Point to the exact place where she talked about the emboldened!!!
kimbraa: How would you know whether I got confused at some point or not?. I read the post before commenting so my comment was strictly based on what I inferred from her write-up. Why don't you "Like" and go than telling me what you think is right or wrong 'cause last time I checked, rights or wrongs are relative. Agreed, however, if for the most part, lots of people say you're wrong and show you clearly how you are wrong, then maybe you are most probably wrong. Also, if i see something wrong, i can decide to say it same way some folks hail you and you said thank you, must not all be positive.
Back to the topic. Let me assume she intends working to make her money, at the end of the day whose finances are bigger (Exactly what GINAZ is saying..... This is your personal opinion....the writer "Onome" did not disclose or hint at that) chunks going to go to family upkeep? Her man. So what are we talking about here?. If her parents couldn't give her a life of luxury like she said and she's already wishfully thinking of caving one for herself it all boils down to having a well to do man in ones life.(Not necessarily.. All this is your interpretation, she did not say or suggest it in her write up).. 'cause all she mentioned would be provided by her husband and maybe an insignificant amount by her.
Bottom line, most mothers in-law who make their daughters in-laws life a hell hole do so 'cause these women met their men already made so they just develop this feelings that she's come to reap where she didn't sow. For these ones, winning their heart would be out of one's good deeds and genuine feelings for their sons. Marry a pauper and see if his mother would make your life miserable.
- I agree with this satement in most cases but ofcourse not in all cases, now its on this premise - Inferred Knowledge that you drew up your conclusion of what the writer wrote. GINAZ is going strictly on the writer's message which is inferred from only what she wrote.
Bottom line, all these are part of learning for me, i hope it is for you too.
Veetee: So how will d cause of death be of help to you? Is that the most important thing after someone is gone?
See another one... Nigeria is fast becoming like the "hood" most of the guys are stupid and uninformed. When someone young dies people will naturally inquire about the cause of death......Use that information to displace some of the nonsense in there.
KushyKush: Ma'am you are almost 60. Come on.... We both know you ain't young
Too many kids and mumus on NL, look at all you have to write in your stupidity and all you have to do is state the cause of death and if you dont know keep your immaturity to yourself.
Litmus: Humph, “They came in eight pick-up trucks? (like a scene reminiscent of Banana Republic Sierra- leone and Liberia as exemplified by the movie Blood Diamonds?). People, we are talking about 21st century military here. I doubt a bunch of primitive rabbles of the type described could turn up in bare-bone pick-up-trucks and attack a whole Nigeria Army military base in far-far-back 1970. Look, if a single truck escaped, as it seems likely all but two did, reading between the lines, then Nigeria is not taking this thing seriously. They are playing games with peoples lives for whatever motive known to them.
Are these people having a laugh, or is it that leadership has deliberately deprived the army of any armament commensurate with threat level ,which is considerable actually (stretching across Africa from Mali to Congo with France puling the strings in the shadows, one corner and Arabs on the other.
...i support Nigeria Army , but, boy, when one thinks of it, one single pick up truck, in a convoy of eight, shouldn't really be escaping after even attacking common police station in any Nation of the world of the rank Nigeria should belong
You said it all. I am perplexed. Also, up until now we still do not know who is sponsoring BH Can you imagine I will clap for bokoharam if they target nigerian politicians and all the thieves in and out of power.
Ginaz: Your so called inferred knowledge sounds so foolish judging from what is coming out from your head.
Inferred knowledge that came out poorly constructed from you is what I should take as an assignment? maybe there is a new name for inferred knowledge I think. Being sentimental and assuming is the new name maybe.
Say your bla bla and bla. afterwards you should sit down to research the meaning of inferred knowledge cos you know nothing.
Inferred knowledge are conclusions gotten from evidence and derived from logical reasons. Yours are sentimental and idealistic so far from the story and point.
Do me a favour by keeping your mentions to yourself as whatever you say would be classified as a bla bla bla
Accept mistakes, it won't kill you.
Bye! I'm done with you!
GINAZ: You are on point. I agree with you absolutely. I think Kimbraa got confused with the subtle way in the write up. For example the writer said "money in the house" once there is money etc and Kimbra is "inferring" she was referring to her husbands money but like you said, there are so many pointers in the write up that shows clearly your explanation is CORRECT.
BENITA27: Sometimes your argument is not right but you hold on to it anyways. You should explore the other person's viewpoint else you won't learn. Just follow Ginaz's chain of thought and read it again and you will get to the ahaaaa moment. My hunch is you won't still accept, cos you are female, somehow females do not accept and give in to other females. Its just an unwritten code, they see the truth in it but they will refuse to accept the truth as the truth.... Why? i don't know.
Pidgin2: If Nigeria is dead and you live in Norway, why are you crying more than the bereaved if you are not cursed with misery?
It seems you've got nothing meaningful to do in the wilderness besides commenting on Nairaland? You are simply a waste of space, a diseased dog is a better fit on this earth than you will ever be in your life time
Do you know about Amra's blog? I'll like to visit and see what it is. We need to connect and participate in credible election campaigns etc.
Pidgin2: He was raised on the streets in abject poverty, you can tell by his utterances. This is why Norway is like heaven to him. He must have begged for his daily bread hence he feels chicken is enough to entice others. I understand the level of starvation Nigeriandondie experienced in childhood
Yes oh Pidgin2 the guy worry nobi small. My issue is he doesn't even have a clue.
By next year I am due for Norwegian citizenship. Let me inform u, Norwegian law doesnt allow for dual citizenship. It wud be glad to renounce my Nigerian citizenship. With d Norwegian passport I can travel round d world at least I wud be saved d hassles of visa application. We dey wait for una to change oooo agents of change. Miserable fellow. I know cos u ve not seen ur menses ur mood problem has taken a beta part of u.
I rest my case. With the above, it confirms to me that you did not have a proper upbringing. These are things a gentleman does not say. But again as a muslim, and willing to help you change if you are willing to change, i will tell you this and i will not reply you again.
There are 4 signs of a Hypocrite...
1. When he talks he lies
2. When he is entrusted with a trust he betrays that trust
3. When he promises, he fails to keep the promise
4. Finally, in argument or talk he becomes "petty" (This, you just displayed) Please do not be a hypocrite. By the way i wish you well.......
Nigeriadondie: See this Aljmajiri. I lived in my own house. I am a trained Biochemist. Had my wducation both in Nigeria and here where it is tuition free in a 21st century university. Before then i had certification in HSE. I worked in one of d reputable food processing companies in Nigeria. I ve had courses paid for by my company abroad and in Nigeria. So if u talk of my background in Nigeria, dig where I am coming from. As for business I laugh cos it is obvious u re not a business owner to know how harsh d Nigerian environment is. U ve to contend with multiple taxation, power which was a huge drain on my resources. Infact that was a majjor problem. To get contracts u ve to pay or bribe a lot of people just to ensure u re called when u get contract and u ve workers to pay. Bad roads that breaks down ur vehicle every now and then during d course of business. It is obvious u re ignorant of d reality as u are and can never own a business. It takes courage to own a business, courage which u stupidly say I lack for going out to get oit of that shithole.
I want to believe you bros, but i dont think soo. actions they say speaks louder. The mere fact that you held that chicken up to "pose" says a lot about your mentality, exposure and education. I was also fascinated with the drink refill concept on my first trip to london but not the chicken that abound at TFC et al. Now tell me how will i now be in Norway and boast about chicken i got tired of (and would rather opt for a better meal) in my first 3 months of working in IT and having those provided free for lunch and dinner during systems implementations. Naaaa, not possible.
Rome surely wasn't built in a day. My pride is helping build a country my children's children will be proud to call home.
You're very welcome. Also, if you visit Rome, and you see those buildings and structures that are 100's of years old, then you will appreciate the essence of the literal meaning "Rome wasn't built in a day"....
shaybebaby: It hurts, definitely.. That you are comfortable with filth. If you have truly left the shores to travel, pray tell how does the state of your home not anger you? Your complacency irks and also denial of the sorry state of affairs.
For me personally, it's no longer my home, hasn't been for eons but just because I'm okay doesn't mean the plight of those suffering in that country doesn't break my heart.
I couldn't turn a blind eye if it were on my door step, so how come you people who live there haven't gotten mad enough to do something drastic to change it?
It is your home isn't it? Hence why we point it out, your home isn't right.
Shaybebaby: I see your dilema, but you dont see it. You dont even know who you are or that you do not have an identity or the moral grounds to stand on and tell AMYA Nigeria is her HOME. You are actually lost and have no sense of "self" anymore. Your identity is complicated and you don't even know it. You sound like those yorubas you meet abroad that say "i don't know how you people live in that country".
AMYA: You are my Hero..... Your fight is my fight and your struggle is my struggle. This is my gift to you for all your faith, hope and the belief in the "Nigeria go Survive" dream.
shaybebaby: One step at a time, to say what that step is, you've been dodging the question.
Holla at me when there are more schools than churches in that country. Holla when the country starts upholding human rights, actually when you start to uphold human rights for everyone.
You want a solution from me? I'd raze the country to the ground and start afresh.
What are you talking about. So many things are ongoing gradually... I will count some for you.
1. Yar'Adua died.... the cabal did all their permutations and combinations at the end, they had no choice but to swear in the V.P as the constitution demands. That is a huge achievement and departure from election annulment
2. GEJ increased the prize of petrol, people did not trust him and his govt there was a march and he reverted to the old price, also, there was a planned 2010 Independence celebration in the UK, everyone complained about the stupidity and idiocy in taking Naija's independence to the UK and the plan was abandoned.
3. An Opposition part defeated the incumbent and power was handed over peacefully.
4. Dieziani that embezzled NNPC dry is in hiding in London.
5. Judges taking bribes were exposed. Yes theyve not been presecuted but they at the very least are exposed.
6. Nigerians are at the very least aware most senators and Govs are corrupt and that the political class is corrupt.
7. There is a movement to "not vote" in anyone with Children schooling abroad into office in 2019.....
and so many things that are happening. Also, DEMOCRACY is not working for us. Too many crooks with money and power and Buhari cannot do much he has to use the court system now the judges are corrupt and Nigerians are thinking of a way out of the current stagnation.... These are our fights, its slow but practical and we are moving in the right direction albeit slowly but your solution... is not feasible or practical or achievable... so put it in your pocket.... You have no solution only "noise".
