i would have lobby for innner benin city... i used the bypass last two weeks... i dont know the area but at the massive trailer park (that was already encrouching the road) there is a big ditch/gully that cars cant pass... you will have to go off road which is already blocked with trailer and trucks.. and so help u God if a marcapolo from the east get there before you...

I hope you are in Lagos now.... confirm your presence..

It got me bad. Didn't know on time cos of the heavy rain. Noticed later but couldn't stop at that bypass o.

In Lagos now for a quick meeting.

Sorry brother

Armed robbers or kidnappers or car snatchers broke my windshield along Elele around midnight

Whatever you do don't be on the highways at night in Nigeria

I mentioned yesterday that Elele is seriously insecure. Sorry sir, thank God you are safe.

What about heading to Onitsha and then lag from there. I always take that route when going to lag from phc. Maybe because am already used to taking that route

-Elele area - security issues

- Too many police and army checkpoints

- Niger bridge traffic

Those are my reasons why I prefer the Warri route.

Hello car Gurus, enthusiasts, techies, Kazeems, Demeanors and my buddy Dancok.

This section has not been as active as ot used to. So I decided to bring some of the old flavour back. I remembered Gazzuzz' trip from the East to Lagos driving his ever reliable '98 (now 2000) Toyota Avensis and decided to do likewise.

My trip starts tomorrow from the Garden city of Port Harcourt and end in the seat of West African civilisation, Lagos. I will hopefully be returning back the day after arrival.

I am quite familiar with the routes to take and avoid, however, your input is always welcome.

I plan to take pictures of the scenery, bad and good spots amongst others.

I only ask for your encouragement and views on this thread. Yabbing is allowed but no insults please.

Funny enough, no one has mentioned one company that I know about very well through a Christian brother who works there - PZ Cussons Nigeria at Ilupeju.
This brother came in there at a very low level a few years back and is now a top top manager in charge of some states. Entry level graduates earn N250-300k, promotion comes every year, at 4th level of promotion, you're entitled to an official car which eventually becomes yours after 3 years, sales executives earn N800k & above per month for starters, infact if you price yourself low as an experienced hire, you may not be given the job and others which I won't mention here.

Infact, if I were much younger, I would have loved to work in such a place but like they say in Yoruba, "Ojo ti lo o"!

Sir, this information is false. Maybe someone showed you the January payslip (which is an upfront for various allowances). Ha!!! 800k for SE, na so.
