Nigerian police will give you tint permit, same police will stop you on the road and tell you the tint is fake, you need follow come. I did tint permit for my Toyota muscle at Festac Police station, after which I was stopped at 1st gate by festac police and the guy saw the papers and said it was fake, I told him that permit was given to me at there station here.

The police officer is right for two reasons.

1. No police station, other than the state command, can issue tinted permits.

2. Your vehicle's tint is an aftermarket fix and did not come originally with the car. The tint permit are for cars with the factory tint.

I beg to differ with your view relative to my seeking charity in whatever definition/meaning of the term (do check up on the definition of the term).

My proposal is just a business model with it's own peculiarity which places no compulsion on any one to take it serious if if goes against the business sense of him/her. It may interest you to note that Principals who were willing to do business with me based on this arrangement had contacted me but two of the four that were game had vehicles that didn't meet the criteria (3.0l vehicles), while another two are yet to bring in the vehicles having just purchased them while being in no rush to expedite the process (not trying to score cheap points). Let's just say I've experienced in this thing called life surprising turn of events that rubbished established facts.

Just like it is the prerogative of potential partners to demand equity contribution as it makes good business sense to them after considering the angles, so is mine not to engage in "rentals" after running the figures.

You see, don't ever assume the status quo will always remain so across board. The human mind is a maze driven by a multitude of impulses which are in turn informed by experiences that are peculiar to each individual hence one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Be daring and inquisitive as you never know what you may find behind that door everyone claims lead to nowhere thus not even daring to open it.

I normally don't comment on threads but I must commend you for your well articulated write up. It's encouraging to know that people like you exist. Back to the subject, I'll answer with a scenario. If I take my time to import a car that meets your specifications, spend crazy money to clear, register and have it insured. Do you really think I'll just give it out for 50k a week with no commitment from you but your well written words?

Don't answer, just put yourself in the shoes of the principal.

Also, if you are lucky enough to get your specified vehicle, you should have at least 100k set aside to take care of any unforseen issue that may crop up.

Either way, you need cash.

N.B: While I perfectly understand the importance and business sense inherent in the Equity contribution clause relative to a hire-purchase agreement, like I iterated in my proposal I, unfortunately, do not have any equity (read: initial deposit, upfront, part payment etc) contribution to bring to the negotiation table. In fact, the foregoing statement is the reason I'm still here canvassing for investors as I've gotten offers from well meaning Principals who somehow didn't see (read) the part of my proposal where I said I didn't have any equity contribution to offer and on knowing this balked at offering me a deal. To my future potential Principal, please note this as it is extremely heartbreaking to think you've sealed a deal only to be told it can't fly at the last moment courtesy of lack of equity contribution.

Pardon my bluntness. What you are proposing is not a business but charity. I will advice you seek for a good vehicle on rentals, save up the needed funds for your equity contribution. Don't sit and wait for a messiah that will meet your needs. Get up and hustle. Walk the talk sir.

Bio data means information about you, eg name, age, place of origin, address, etc. Some drivers may find cv writing a tad cumbersome, or so I felt.
