Good. It is really funny how some Naralanders live in Nigeria, wake up in Nigeria everyday but don't think Nigeria. When there is a success story, we rush to check names so that we can praise our tribe and lapoon other tribes in the same Nigeria. The reverse is the case if its a bad story...mockery of tribes will be rampant with posts like 'Afonja', 'Liepod','Brown roof' , bla, bla, bla. I know sincerely we all know that sucess and evil have no tribe. Anybody from any tribe can commit any crime or achieve any successful feat. Despite the fact that Nairaland has this message on New post pages "Please don't make racist and tribalistic comments on this section". The mods and the admin seem unconcerned about the height of tribalism going on here. Perhaps if they are to clamp down on tribalistic posts, some people will have nothing to do here. |
Actually the whole saga is quite suspicious but let's just hope the "truth prevails" if that can happen in our dear country where the truth itself can be strangled to death and buried till nothing can be reversed again. waledeji:First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. - Martin Niemöller |
Chai, As it was alleged, some "enemies" of the state created these boko haram monsters so that Nigeria could be ungovernable and so that power could return to their region. Now power has returned and the boko haram monsters have now become a monster to those that allegely created them. Now innocent Nigerians - both the millitary and civilians are paying the ultimate price with their lives and the "enemies of state" that allegely created the boko haram monster continue to live on in - power. Nice plot for a novel ![]() |
