ibotjaycob: JAGABAN cannot be one person's name like u claim. It is a Hausa term used to refer to someone as always being in the front (as leader) or frontliner. Last year 2Face was turbaned d JAGABAN of Nigerian music in Kaduna. So, like wise in politics, we have regions & states across Nigeria, eachone with hers. So i'm not tryin to call any one JAGABAN in Delta State, it's not our language but, i only wanted us to discuss who we think has d strongest political influence in the state. "But bross wait first, whc one u dey claim de name sef?" abi na ur family name? Lolz...... i dn't mean to insult u, i knw u're refering to Baba T. as JAGABAN, but dat's in SW. OneLuv Naija!! |

I've been wondering who it is, that is the arrow head of Delta State politics, some believe Ibori still has a strong influence in the state, while others don't. Let's hear ur opinion, tell us who u think is, and let us knw why u chose him/her, with his/her influence with & across the state.

ImperialYoruba: APC is not an alternative, APC IS THE CHOICE!now i can see your uncertainty about what your CHOICES are, because if Jonathan will decamp from PDP today & decide to join your APC, he will still be your choice (a progressive). U need to discover your problem. |

With the present aggitation for change in our country (Nigeria) today, do we think APC has something good to offer? Considering the fact that: it is a web of the same politicians bedevilling the whole political system in the country. |

wesley80: PDP most probaly will, but i'm not sure it'll be Okowa. Ochei seems to have the momentum at the moment and has been hosting lavish political gatherings. However, there's a dark horse in the PDP race that seems highly favoured - Omordi George Ugbomah. The othes two candidates are from Agbor and Onicha Olona respectively, both considered core Delta North while George Ugbomah a three time commissioner who served both under Ibori and his nephew is an Ndokwa from Aboh and rumoured to be favoured by the powers that be for his loyalty unlike the others. The issue of "acceptability" also seems to favour George as the rest of the state seems to be unofficially averse to having a core Delta Northerner as governor and may be more favourably disposed to someone of the more familiar Ukwuani and oil producing area extraction.@wesley80: what do you mean by "CORE DELTA NORTH"? had anyone ever told you that there is a part of Delta North regarded as the Sub-Delta North? |

malc619: Delta-Ibos still waiting for "Father-Christmas" Governorship......@malc619: we Anioma people are not waiting for a "FATHER CHRISTMAS" governorhip in a state we fully own and dominate its capital. This is a political issue that must be handle with much political sophistication, we have what it takes to govern the state, it's just that most prominent Anioma Sons and Daughters who are involved in politics were more concerned with higher political offices in the national level, but this is becoming laughable that Anioma is the only Senatorial District left to produce the governor of the state, and that is the reason for this call. So we are not being maginalized, cus we occupy the DTHA speaker's seat, the PDP chairmanship and other political offices in the state. |
Politics / Re: Babangida Hosts APC, Says Nigeria Is Greater Than PDP by OrisehNathan(m): 9:31am On Nov 15, 2013 |
Who do they want to decieve? is it not time they knew we are tired of them? Nigeria is just keeping silent, if not, the likes of babangida (IBB) are supposed to be languishing in jail for the calamity they have drawn to Nigeria. I give them five more years to be silent if Christ tarrays & Nigeria still remain one, if they don't keep silent and return to their old ion-spring beds to pray to God for forgiveness. They will all have to live to regret ever being Nigerians, because they are jeopadizing with our future and we won't fail to put them where they belong. A word is enough for the wise! noblezone:whether Biafra or not we still remain who we are. We aren't against Biafra in the first place. All we need is our voice to heard. Remember Lt. Nzeogwu hails from Anioma, we've always been supporting, now we also need to be supported. We want Anioma State created or we produce the next governor. 1 Like |

This is a call to all my fellow Ndi-Anioma, it's high time we came out to defend our inalienable right of producing the next governor of Delta State come 2015. |
