Image123:Burning the quran doesn't in no way makes them less of a Christian. Whose plight were they insensitive to? While I do not support burning the quran. Majority of Muslims, esp in the middle east always have an excuse for their murderous ways. They blame a girl wearing anything other than their NINJA-styled dress for getting raped. They are always pointing accusing fingers to every other people but themselves. An empty barrel makes the loudest noise. While would an average sensible human being with common sense take to the street to kill foreigners because their religious text was burnt somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean. It doesn't just make sense in no way. Its a total barbaric act and the fact that these people, Muslims, always have an instruction book to back their savage act totally crest the primary purpose of their organization in crystal stone. |
@Jacobscros - All thanks to our loving Heavenly Father. |

How so? I thought they wrote their word for God (Elohim) in full. They often do not write the name of G-d on disposable media such as a pieces of paper. Most Jews will not even pronounce a name of G-d Online because it could be printed and thus making it available on paper, then could get thrown in a garbage or disposed in any other inappropriate manner not inline with Jewish tradition. Its no sin though, just basically a sign of respect. When they do have to write it on a disposable media, they have a special collection center where they collect them and appropriately bury them. |
Sorry to digress but what's the reasoning behind typing G-d rather than God?Its the Jewish part of me coming into play ![]() |
The board isn't exclusively for Christians. We share it with people of other faiths. One of the reasons we started Gift and Calling - A Christian forum. We are still few but increasing in numbers daily. |
The end of the entire world, don't think so. End for someone, definitely. When the WORD himself had declared that only the Father knows, its not too surprising that these folks keep coming out with dates of the world allegedly coming to an end. Christ foretold all these. I look forward to May 21st 2011 and what this people will have to say on May 22nd 2011. Shikena! |

Mark 3 : 29 - "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation." |
Burning the Koran does not give any one the right to kill. If Allah didn't want it to get burnt, then the fire wouldn't have consumed it anyways. So, if Allah allowed it to get burnt, why bother? The people killed ain't even closely related to the folks that burnt the Koran. So what common sense lies in there action? Why instill fear to get respect? The most pathetic of it all is having Muslims in Western countries defend such barbaric acts by claiming those that burnt the Koran did so purposefully to provoke violence. Yet they think they have as much right to point their fingers at others but when you do same to them, the blasphemy law is quickly invoked. |
@Alexleo Isn't it different to give an insincere or exaggerated talk and playing pranks. I would term the former as being a false witness amidst other things. i.e - Telling someone how you've been here and there when you know you are plainly lying. In such a case, you'll have no intention of letting the victim know that all you've been feeding him are lies. Anyways, thanks be to G-d that there's only one April fool's day in any given year. |
Israel and Jordan are already toggling between who gets to keep it. I think they are being more careful this time around. which would explain why they are just coming out with the stuff almost four years after it was discovered. Even if it be a snare of the devil, those that know their Lord shall be strong. |
Because the great w-hore as prophesied in the book of Daniel is in the works. |

Look what you've done for me - Tree63 Look what you've done for me Your Blood has set me free Jesus my Savior look what you've done for me I haven't been the same Ever since the day I called your name Yahweh Yahweh Look what you've done for me What can I do for you my Lord I want you to know my heart is yours Is not a question of what you can do for me What can I do for you my Lord Its a soft rock song but the lyrics are powerful. |
Wouldn't call it a sin. It might only get harmful when you are really seriously passing an important information and the recipient thinks you playing an April Fool prank. Besides that, the whole world knows its a day you play pranks, I play pranks too ![]() |
@Topman40 - We all at Giftandcalling.com will keep you in our prayers. God bless you. |
G-d keeps his promises, that's why there are still true shepherds and they ain't in no way few. |
@OP - I think it all boils down to love. Bible says "for G-d so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life." It goes further to state that "If you love me, you will do what I have commanded of thee." which are to love the Lord your G-d with all your heart and soul and might and the other to love your neighbor as yourself. I think that I may end up fornicating if I get the chance.Thank G-d you know where you stand, the best bet now is to avoid creating that chance. Better still start to rely more on G-d's wisdom and strength through prayer. |

The Nigerian-born Dr Lucius Okere, who qualified in Bologna, Italy, was finally struck off by the General Medical Council in January after staff at one of the hospitals reported serious concerns. At the hearing it emerged that he did not know how to “scrub up”, where surgeons wash their hands and arms very thoroughly before an operation. He also slapped patients to see if they were conscious. It was also revealed that while working at Lymington Hospital he mistook the meaning of a “crash call” – the medical term for a cardiac arrest – for a car crash.
