Good morning, I did biometrics on June 25th, yet to get pick up mail, also it still in DMC when I tracked my application. Most colleagues who has done earlier said theirs took 9 days, but today makes it 10 days for me and yet to receive mail.

Please what can I do, as I plan to move to the UK next week?.
It doesn't matter, as long as its not the same document and ECO that is handling your case. If no hindrance, hopefully you will get a response on the 11th working day or exercise patience till the 15th working day before contacting UKVI.

Yes i have the fund in my Flutterwave account but unable to use it to fund my virtual card
Hope the fund is reflecting on your naira card on the application? If yes. Create a $credit card on the app.

Click on the $credit card you will use, then click on fund after which you will type the amount of $ you need on your credit card.

1. Please, what is the best way to show that your uncle (who will be sponsoring you) With a different surname is your uncle.

2. Can one choose to hold his passport after the biometric without submission.if yes? How much is it?

Thanks.

Standard visa in less than 15 working days.

Good Evening Fam!,
I have been a silent reader on this platform (had to fish out my long lost password for this post) but I must say that this is one of the best things that could happen to a potential traveller.
The information received here has been most invaluable.
So I applied for my standard visitor visa and I painstakingly went through all the pages on the thread, took time and delayed my application to ensure I don't miss a thing.
Well it paid off and today I received my visa after 2 previous refusals- 2014 and 2018.
I must say that the more I went through the thread, I said to myself "even I would have denied me visa with the manner I filed the previous applications"
Thanks to everyone and I will contribute from time to time to help others just as the contributions of others has helped me.

Timeline

Paid - 9th of June (used a GTB $ card)
9th of June- Uploaded all my documents myself online. I took my time to prevent mistakes and went through my documents painstakingly.
Biometrics- 11th June
Collection mail- 25th June
Picked up passport with Visa - 28th June.

Thank you all.

Yes none science students can apply as you will be learning practical skills needed to work in the lab. Getting a job is fairly easy if u are willing to travel anywhere in the UK but might not guarantee getting residence permit with the job
Is there any hope of getting a job with the NHS or what can someone do to get a job that can guarantee getting a residence permit?

Can you advice someone who is not a science student to enrol for this course ?
What's the possibility of getting a job applying as an international student from Nigeria after the course ?

thanks for the reply I would have love to but I am thinking about the cost I am considering the tuition and other stuff and more importantly I will like to consider courses that will be delivered in English for a start or how do you think I should go about it
I will advice that you apply to courses that the medium of communication is English.

It's better you come in through a student visa because of the benefit and also search for schools with low tuition.

Let me know how far you have gone with.

I will really appreciate your reply. Thanks
Why don't you apply for your bachelors degree from Nigeria and when you get here you can get a printing job to support your education.

I can only guide you. I'm not an agent.

It's easier if you understand french, have you done a language test ?

Most countries prefer their own citizen. Why don't you apply for other health care jobs.
