Hi,

I think this forum is for job and not for an issue like this. I advise you to post your message or a similar one under Romance, where it will be given proper attention. This forum is for job seekers to interract and help each other. You may not get the right kind of advice from job seekers on an issue like this.

Do not misunderstand me. I mean good for you.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Very Urgent - Breakthrough (nig)ltd by Osabro(m): 5:05pm On May 24, 2007
They are fake. Any employment agency that asks for money as "registration fee" is fake; they are hungry, jobless Nigerians who are looking for money. If you pay the money and go through the interview, they will not write you again, meaning you did not pass. If they care to write, they might write to tell you that you did not succeed in the interview, so that you will always apply whenever you see their advert.

Please, do not apply, because when you do, you will definately remember my advice.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Help! What Job Can A White Guy Get In Nigeria? by Osabro(m): 8:56am On May 04, 2007
Hi, Finch!

You are one of the rare white people who want to work in Nigeria, leaving the comfort of your country. However, as Matured has pointed out, education from the West in well recognised here. Without a degree you cannot get a good job here. You may need a degree in English to teach in some international school. You may also need to obtain a master degree in information related decipline to work in some good NGOs or some telecom companies. I work with IITA, Ibadan. In my place of work, there are a lot of foreigners. The pay is not bad, at least by developing country's standard. There is no security threat in Nigeria, except some oil-rich coastal areas, where known foreign oil workers are held hostage for financial rewards by some natives.

Best of luck.

Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Loves A Married Woman by Osabro(m): 10:49am On Feb 22, 2007
Hi, girl,

I am going to talk to you as a married man and as an elder brother. Please, flee for dear life. That man does not worth you a bit. Who knows what he would do after you have married him: it could be your sister, your cousin, your niece, your aunty, your neighbour or even your mother he would attempt next. What we call love is really an emotional outburst, which fades away with time. God has so favoured you that He exposed him before you made the greatest mistake of your life.

Before I got married, I had four relationships that did not work. Two of them were caused by me and two by my partners. One of them was similar to yours: double dealing with two men! But at last, I got my wife and things just worked out. We are married for four years now and have got two boys. The love is even stronger now than when we started.

Such a man as your ex-fiancee is one of such people who would show you much love and affection but are merely covering up to make you not to suspect their canny deals outside. He will surely come begging and, infact, could really change for the better because he needs you. But the truth is that habit is a difficult thing to stop. You might enjoy him only within the first few years of marriage and then life will be a hell for you, at that time, it will be difficult to retreat.

A word is enough for the wise.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Do We Have To Pay by Osabro(m): 9:28am On Feb 12, 2007
Please my friend, do not pay to any employment agent. A genuine agent will always get their handling fee from the company that commissioned them to recruit on their behalf. Any agent that asks you to pay money is dubious and hungry. Look at it this way, someone has no food to eat and comes to you for help. You are telling such a person to bring food first for you to give him food. Well that is Nigeria for you. Be carefull. Don't be too despirate otherwise you will be in for it.

A word is enough for the wise.

Don't ever go near tem again. they are 419. they will take the N1500 and more from you. Any employer who wants to give you a job should know that you have no money and so would not ask for money from an applicant.

Flee from such hungry people or you could go with police officers.
