5 male suspects have been nabbed by the police force in relation to the bomb blast in kano including the bomb blast in st. Charles church in Kano.The police Force public Relations officer Frank Mba said,"As part of ongoing investigations into the various terror-related incidents that occurred in Kano, Police operatives have arrested five male suspects for their complicity in the attacks. Two were arrested in connection with the foiled attack on Isyaku Rabiu Mosquewhile three were arrested in connectionwith the attack on St. Charles Church. These photos are from the Algerian plane crash that carried 116 people on board. An explosive device disguised as a luggage bag was detonated inside the crowded New Road motor park located at Sabon Gari which is a predominantly Christian quarters of Kano metropolis leaving scores dead. An eye witness and the pictures revealed that the explosion ripped through a bus station in Kano as passengers boarded buses out of the city. The people of Borno have been attacked in Bama local government and not less than 60 people were killed while others sustained bullet injuries. Apart from the killings houses, shops, vehicles were burnt down by a group who are suspected and likely to be the Boko Haram sect. Security sources pointed out that the attack took place at around 10p.m on Saturday but "25 people" were killed. Boko Haram recruitingHowever, members of the sect, who attacked Damboa on Friday for the secondtime in two weeks, were reportedly looking for youths to recruit. 55 people consisting of 50 married men and five women have been sentenced to 4 months imprisonment each in Kano State for taking alcohol during the on-going Ramadan fasting which is considered a crime. The board’s Director-General, Alhaji Abba Sufi, told NAN that the convicts were arrested last week following raids of hideouts in the state. He revealed that all the 55 persons have been sentenced to four months imprisonment without an option of fine in order to serve as a lesson to others who might think of carrying out such an act . He later added “Even if we are not in the month of Ramadan, nobody should take alcohol because the state is implementing Sharia law,” he said. According to him another 27 have been arrested and will soon be sentenced.
