1, Food: there will be possible shortage of food and foreign imported items will be beyond the reach of many. The rise in.price of.dollars and fall in.income will force Nigerians to look for local alternatives. These include farming, food processing and economical restaurants. Production of satchet water as many will move from bottle water to pure water. It will also be cheaper to eat outside than to cook. 2, Spare parts sales and vehicle repairs: with the ban of car import from land boarders and rise in exchange rate, people will.prefer to fix their cars than buy new ones. Sales of clean Nigerian used cars will also boom. 3, Used Clothes (Okirika): This business will receive a boost as many will switch to used from new clothes. 4, Local furniture: This too will do well if you make quality furniture. Imported furniture will be mainly for the rich. 5, Transportation: there will be more people using public transport than using their cars. 6, Herbal Medicine: the rising cost of healthcare in Nigeria will push many towards herbal medicine. |

This is my own prophecy for 2017. 1, there will be food scarcity 2, more job losses 3, skyrocketing price of consumables 4, Naira value u further decline along 2 quarter. 5, there will be new dirty millionaires. By dirty I mean farmers and skilled workers. 6, strike after strike from various institutions 7, depression 8, Nigerians will wonder at some point if there is still a government. 9, We will have a taste of 2019 from the third quarter. 10, something shocking will happen politically 11, religious intolerance and extremism might take a different dimensions. 12, at some point it will be the president against Nigerians. 13 , there will be a lot of regional and political realignment 14, the call for separation and restructuring will be louder 15, APC will make sacrifices that will break the party. 16, international community will be more involved in the affairs of this nation. 17, increase in fuel price, taxes, tariffs and all government revenue payments 18, those who adjust early will find opportunities this year We can only pray for the best |

Things that happens in church today makes me wonder who owns the church. If it is man, then everything that happens in it will be controlled by the owner, this includes the miracles . Both if its GOD, then he is responsible for what happens in the church. Someone has a calling or claims to be called, a church is started. People join the church and it grows. They all began with the little they have and suddenly the pastor becomes super rich and can hire and fire members. Now, some of the members may own schools and other small businesses from which they contribute to offerings and projects. The church finally grows and starts to venture into businesses like schools and compete with their members in business. Then the poor members who were contributing their widows might, cant afford to send their children to the school the church built with their money. People are forcefully sent out of the church based on misunderstanding. This picture is different from the church i read about in the bible. 6 things i find different in the church today . 1) In the bible the church doors were always open. People from anywhere could walk in at any time to pray. Today there are days and times when the auditorium is accessible . 2) There was no discrimination between the rich and the poor, as you can see the beggars at the beautiful gate who were healed by the disciples . Today beggars will be chased out of the building or the gates of the church. 3) There are less miracles in the church today than we read in the bible . 4) People did not lack in the bible church. People sold what they had and shared among themselves to ensure nobody lacked in the church. Today people come to the church broke and leave broke. Some even come with their last money, and walk home. Members drive pass them and don't even give them a lift . People come hungry to church and go home hungry. 5) Love was the foundation of the old church. Today, prosperity has replaced love. 6) Jesus focused on the poor. When he was asked by a rich man, what he could do to enter the kingdom, he said he should sell all he had and give to the poor. He also gave an example in a parable, which he said on the last day many will say they did miracles in his name and he will say he does not know them. Because, he was hungry and they did not feed him, they did not cloth him when he had none etc. He recognized the offering of the poor widow. Today, the focus is on the rich, the offering of the rich are the focus. When the church is building a school, it is built for the rich. All church businesses are focused on the rich. Finally James 1:27 Says : Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. This seems different from what we have today. |
