You're absolutely correct, almost every app and website we use collect our data.
Seems you're new to these
There is a difference between collecting data and using your data to exploit you, most apps that collect your data store it as your identity, not to use it to exploit you. If you use Facebook alot, I can tell you they know you more than yourself, they know what you want, what you're think, how? They've built the perfect AI that analyzes everything you do, including what you browser on the web, for how long you stared at a post, everything is being analyze to predict you. That's why Facebook is able to suggest the right post for you, like they just read your mind, that's why they no they type of ads to show you, well you think facebook is free, I don't think so, what they sell is you.
And now that Apple is about to kick their ass by allowing people to choose who can access their data. I think WhatsApp data is their only alternative, that's why they did this, people send more messages on WhatsApp than Facebook, so if they can analyze the messages you sent, they can predict what you want, to me, that is exactly what they want to do.
Facebook is smart and dangerous, I'll advice you to watch these two documentaries on Netflix

Romance / Re: If You Are In Your Twenties Or Have Passed Your Twenties, You Must’ve Noticed by ostechno(m): 7:45pm On Jan 10, 2021
Factfinder1:
If you are in your twenties or have passed your twenties, you must’ve noticed life moved really fast from 21 to 30 than it actually moved from 15 to 18 year old.

When I was fifteen, I just couldn’t wait to turn eighteen. Days crawled on forever and I thought I would never reach this eighteen which held promises of freedom, leaving home, getting into university and probably doing every adult thing I ever had in mind to do.

I never knew when eighteen came and before I stopped to take note, I am in my late twenties and within the last two years of being there. And how I got here so fast, I simply have no idea. Perhaps the son of Nebu is not the only one feeling this way and that is why I am sharing this piece with you today.

A lot of life changing events and decisions happen in our twenties and this is why time moves really fast. We get into school, some become apprentices, change cities, fall in and out of love, start up stuff and all along the way, our emotions and mindset is going through very deep changes. Oftentimes, this makes us scared, uncomfortable and afraid of the future.

This is why we worry so much and given the presence of social media and how some of us use it, you can now understand why it seems our generation is worse off in some way.

To be honest, I am not using my twenties to make many long term friends. I am making a handful of long term friends, but not too much. By nature of what I do, I encounter thousands of people annually and I don’t try to befriend them. I try to make one thing clear to all; when you think about Martin Beck Nworah, it won’t be difficult for you to know what I stand for and the ideals I am willing to uphold. I believe twenties is the perfect time to make many temporary people we meet along our way, see us for who we really are and the noble ideals we are willing to uphold. If it makes sense to them, they will always come back in the future and say, “You are an upright person and I need you to do this for me”.

In your twenties and maybe early thirties (I’m not there yet anyway), your heart will go through lots of challenges because of broken promises in business, love and career.

Those who promised to be there for you may not always come through because life might be tough for them in some way and they may not want to tell you about it. You will slowly begin to understand that being an adult means understanding that sadly, life isn’t always to be seen in white and black.

You will fail and fall many times but never give up. Take your time to refresh if need be but don’t give up entirely. Like myself, love dealt me a heavy blow years ago when my trust was broken. I have stayed away from falling in love for a while but I know someday, I sure will fall in love again and when the time comes, I’ll welcome it with open arms. And hopefully by then, I must’ve healed well and be able to trust again.

As you grow quickly and understand who you are, keep in mind that others around you are going through a similar process. Do not ask of another, that which you know would be hard for you to do if you were in their position.

So here’s a lesson worth sharing with your friends and loved ones today; life is in stages and as you reach each one, I hope you will be equipped to face it.

Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.
This is a great share, infact it deserves the front page
And you're right, I feel same thing too, I'll turn 22 this year and I just feel like my twenties should be extended, because it feels to short for me, I mean with all the plans I have, it shows that there's no time.
When I was young I always feel like I should turn 18 faster but at the moment, I just feel like my aging should become slow.

Walayi, African leaders and those that voted and keep them in place are not only greedy, they are stupid.

They got most of their population to believe development can only come from foreigners.

Is that how USA, China and Russia feed their population, develop and became nuclear power?

Africans want to be recolonized.
Lol, you don't Kno how money borrowed by these countries work
For your information, China owes about CN¥ 39 trillion which is equivalent to about US$ 5.48 trillion which is about 40 percent of their gdp

And the United States owes the highest amount of money, they owe about $23.4 trillion which has almost reached their total gdp, infact, USA owe China about $1.1 trillion USD.

It's not like these countries would be forced to pay their debt, is more like an investment, when you profit from the money you borrow, you'll be paying the person you borrowed the money from little by little.

The total Nation debt of Nigeria as of 2020 is about $80 billion USD, it's little, but the issue is can the investments in Nigeria pay back little by little.

USA owes the highest money, they

Travel / Sriwijaya Air Boeing 737 Passenger Plane Feared To Have Crashed In Indonesia by ostechno(m): 7:21pm On Jan 09, 2021

Relatives of those on board are waiting anxiously for news

A Boeing 737 passenger plane carrying 62 people is believed to have crashed into the sea shortly after take-off from Indonesia's capital Jakarta.

The Sriwijaya Air disappeared from radars four minutes into its journey to Pontianak in West Kalimantan province.

It is thought to have dropped more than 3,000m (10,000ft) in less than a minute, according to flight tracking website Flightradar24.com.

Witnesses said they had seen and heard at least one explosion.

Fisherman Solihin, who goes by one name, told the BBC Indonesian service he had witnessed a crash and his captain decided to return to land.

"The plane fell like lightning into the sea and exploded in the water," he said.

"It was pretty close to us, the shards of a kind of plywood almost hit my ship."

A number of residents of an island near where the plane disappeared told the BBC they had found objects they thought were from the plane

Police officers and fishermen show debris that they believe came from the plane

The transport ministry said search and rescue efforts were under way.

The Indonesian navy has been deployed to look for the aircraft, reports say. Navy official Abdul Rasyid told Reuters news agency it had determined the plane's coordinates and ships had been deployed to the location.

The aircraft is not a 737 Max, the Boeing model that was grounded from March 2019 until last December following two deadly crashes.

Difficult questions
Last contact with the plane, with the call sign SJY182, was made at 14:40 local time (07:40 GMT), according to the transport ministry. The usual flight time to Pontianak, in the west of the island of Borneo, is 90 minutes.

It did not send a distress signal, according to the head of national search and rescue agency Air Marshal Bagus Puruhito.

There were thought to be 50 passengers - including seven children and three babies - and 12 crew on board, though the plane has a capacity of 130. Everyone on board was Indonesian, officials say.

Relatives of the passengers have been waiting anxiously at the airport in Pontianak, as well as at Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

"I have four family members on the flight - my wife and my three children," Yaman Zai told reporters through tears.

"[My wife] sent me a picture of the baby today... How could my heart not be torn into pieces?"

According to registration details, the plane is a 26-year-old Boeing 737-500.

It was in good condition, Sriwijaya Air chief executive Jefferson Irwin Jauwena told reporters. Take-off had been delayed for 30 minutes due to heavy rain, he said.

Sriwijaya Air, founded in 2003, is a local budget airline which flies to Indonesian and other South-East Asian destinations.

The Sriwijaya Air plane disappeared from radar screens shortly after take-off (file photo)

The plane went missing about 20km (12 miles) north of the capital Jakarta, not far from where another flight crashed in October 2018.

A total of 189 died when an Indonesian Lion Air flight plunged into the sea about 12 minutes after take-off from the city.

That disaster was blamed on a series of failures in the plane's design, but also faults by the airline and the pilots.

It was one of two crashes that led regulators to pull the Boeing 737 Max from service. The model resumed passenger flights in December after a systems overhaul.

The BBC's Jerome Wirawan in Jakarta says the latest events will bring up difficult questions and emotions in Indonesia, whose airline industry has faced intense scrutiny since the Lion Air crash.

The aircraft which appears to have been lost off Indonesia was a Boeing 737, but it should not be confused with the much more modern 737 Max - which was grounded following two tragic accidents in 2018 and 2019, including one off the coast of Indonesia.

The Sriwijaya Air flight appears to have been carried out by a Boeing 737-500. This plane formed part of the 737 Classic series, the second generation of 737, which was built during the 1980s and 1990s. The plane, seen as a workhorse aircraft for many years, has a strong safety record.

The Sriwijaya Air 737 was 26 years old. While airlines do tend to prefer to fly newer aircraft - because they have lower running costs - it is not uncommon to find planes of this age still in service.

Indonesia, though, has a relatively poor record on aviation safety. For more than a decade carriers from the region were banned from flying into the EU. Until recently, the perception had been that standards were improving, and in 2018 all Indonesian airlines were removed from the EU's blacklist.

That, however, was before the loss of a Lion Air 737 Max in October 2018. Although the design of the aircraft is widely believed to have been the main cause of the accident, investigators also highlighted issues such as poor maintenance procedures and inadequate flying skills as contributory factors.

Lol, faster than WhatsApp indeed, the app isn't even on playstore, if it truly exist then I'd say good job, but WhatsApp is a native app which runs based on the speed of your phone and your network.
Building a messaging app at the moment is not a good idea, except you have an extraordinary idea, even if your app is faster than the flash, WhatsApp will remain in it's position.
