Nairaland / General / How To Test Your IQ by ostechno(m): 7:51pm On Dec 28, 2020
To test your IQ, just download the movie "Tenet" and watch it.
If you understand it the first time you watched it, then you're a genius
If you had to watch it multiple times before you understood it, you IQ is high but you're not a genius
If you don't understand it at all, your IQ is low

Please how do I create a website on darkweb
You need to configure your server on Tor, there are few command lines you might need to do that, but even if you have your own server, will the processing power be enough. But there's an alternative, which is an hosting service
Just like a traditional web hosting, there are hosting devices on dark web, some hackers even leaked the list of hoping services sometimes back, you also need an TLD called .onion, just like we have .com .net .Ng and the likes, .onion is used in the dark web
I can't explain everything here, and I don't think you should have any reason to want o create a website on dark web.

Mrbillionaire:

Deepweb gang, Chinese full there too. I think the authority concerned should ban Tor browser, it's used for crimes.
Tor can't be banned, it is it's good use too
Dg you know Tor was created by the United State government to anonymously communicate online. It later became a public tool
And Tor helps Intelligence agencies to catch criminals oo, thy simply setup shop on DW to catch criminals
Even if Tor is banned, there other similar tools to access the dark web, and mind it, the dark web makes up over 90 percent of internet activities.
Also note, deep web is different from dark web.
Deep web is like creating a site with offshore hosting and keeping the site from the public, and also preventing it from been crawled by bots and Search engine crawlers, anyone can create a deep web site easily

Who told you that, the only fraud that happens in Nigeria are the frauds that you can avoid always, but due to large number of illiteracy, the frauds still happens,
Go on dark web website and see the number of people's card details being sold, belonging to people in the United States. You just talk like Nigeria is topping, baba, naija no Sabi pass dating scam, phishing and Ponzi. Usa and Mexico tops in atm fraud

Education / Re: The Next Generation Computer Systems by ostechno(m): 3:19pm On Dec 27, 2020
The next and the last generation of computer would be quantum computers,
What we all know is that a computer uses machine language which is represented by 0s and 1s, and a normal computer can only process one at a time, but I case of a quantum computer, it can process both 0s and 1s at thesame time making it extremely fast and powerful. I quantum computer is said to be 100 million times faster than a classic computer, it can process years of information in seconds.
Now imagine using a Quantum computer to power an artificial intelligence, this will make the most powerful and the at thesame time, the most dangerous AI in the world, that would bring us very close to a conscious AI, it would be so powerful, and we will be getting close to "Singularity"
There are lots of quantum computing projects going on around the world, but I don't think we'll be able to make that perfect Quantum computer anytime soon, but it exist already though, but not good enough, a quantum computer also needs a very cold environment, I mean extremely cold.
There are lots of things that could be done with a quantum computer, it would be extremely useful in the health sector, vaccines for viruses would be manufactured in weeks instead of years with a quantum computer.
Happy Sunday

Science/Technology / Has Anybody Opened A Gmail Account Recently by ostechno(m): 2:55pm On Dec 25, 2020
I don't know what is wrong, but something is wrong with Gmail. I want to open a Gmail account but whenever I try to verify using my phone number, it says "this number cannot be used for verification" ive tried like 5 numbers which 3 of them has never been used for gmail before, but i get thesame error. Buy when I tired linking one of those numbers to an existing Gmail account, it worked.
It shows that there is something wrong.
Did you experience thesame thing too?
Jobs/Vacancies / Which Type Of Job Would This Be by ostechno(m): 2:32pm On Dec 25, 2020
I friend of mine (a lady) said she got a job in Lagos some months back but she didn't tell me what the job is, so whenever I call her during the day, she doesn't pick, she will call me at night and tell me they're not allowed to pick calls at her work place. I'm just wondering what type of job could that be, I wanted to ask her but not until I see her face to face.

Science/Technology / Re: Carbon Loan App Scam? by ostechno(m): 7:06pm On Dec 23, 2020
I don't think they will scam anyone, first, it's the largest lending app in Nigeria, and all lending app operate almost the same license as a bank. Which means they're bank. And banks are always insured and the follow some regulations to avoid people getting scammed, even they shutdown today, you'll get your money.
Politics / Re: US Bans Citizens From Travelling To 12 Nigerian States (see Full List) by ostechno(m): 9:39am On Dec 21, 2020
NewsOneNigeria1:
US has banned its citizens from travelling to 12 Nigerian states.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the United States Embassy in Nigeria has cautioned American citizens to reconsider traveling to Nigeria due to COVID-19, crime, terrorism, civil unrest, kidnapping, and maritime crime.

This online news platform understands that the US in a notice shared on its official website and Twitter, cautioned its citizens residing in Nigeria against intra and inter state movements as crimes tend to increase during holidays in the country.

“We remind U.S. citizens to exercise caution while traveling and residing in Nigeria. Crime is endemic throughout Nigeria, ranging from petty street crime to carjacking, and crime levels tend to increase during the holidays,” the embassy wrote, highlighting danger zones in the country.

See the states: https://newsoneng.com/2020/12/20/us-bans-citizens-from-travelling-to-12-nigerian-states-see-full-list/
Fake news, stop spreading fake news, USA didn't ban theirs citizens from travelling to 12 states, they only issue a warning that its dangerous to travel to Nigeria now, thy also gave directives to those that will still insist on travelling

Nairaland / General / A Letter To President Muhammadu Buhari - Frank Lucas by ostechno(m): 7:54am On Dec 18, 2020
Well, who is Frank Lucas, It is an AI.
So today I had a chance to test an Artificial Intelligence called GPT-3 through a platform that uses it's API, this A was developed by Elon Musk Company, Open AI.
Here prompted it to write an article
Here is the prompt:

"A letter to the Nigerian President, President Muhammadu Buhari, on the issue of unemployment, insecurity and poverty."

And this is what I got:

"I have been reading your speech in which you said that Nigeria is a country where all citizens are equal before the law. I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that it is not true! In fact, it is a lie! You have systematically denied the rights of our people by imposing your laws, regulations and controls over us. Your policies have resulted in unemployment, insecurity and poverty. We are suffering from a lack of jobs; we do not even know what to do with our lives as most of our skills have become obsolete due to your economic policies.
Your security forces have killed far too many good Nigerians in the quest to maintain your "democracy". Many good people have died in detention and extra-judicially. You have used the military to destroy any opposition, intimidated the media and arbitrarily arrested citizens.
You believe you are above the law. Well, as the Bible says "no man is a prophet in his own land". You claim that you are fighting corruption yet you are one of the most corrupt governments in Nigeria's history.
Please open your eyes and see the destruction you have brought on this country. You believe that you have built a strong nation but you have only achieved this with the blood of her citizens. We are not equal. We are not free. We are not prosperous. Our future is dim and bleak unless you change your attitude immediately.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Frank Lucas"

First, this thing gave itself a name grin grin

And this part also got me

Well, as the Bible says "no man is a prophet in his own land"

I ran a search in my Bible app, there's nothing like that in the Bible. It's just a quote

What do you think cool cool

Family / Re: Married Men Asking Single Guys For Help. by ostechno(m): 10:28pm On Nov 30, 2020
Deathissweet:
I understand that brokenness doesn’t have respect for anybody, meanwhile that is why you need to plan well before getting married or giving birth.

I shouldn’t be posting this but since I am not including anybody’s name, I don’t think I am doing something wrong.

I relocated to a new state few months ago so I have decided to make friends with matured foks because most guys of my age (30yrs ) here are yahoo boys. I am not judging anyone but at least I shouldn’t be painted bad in a new town.

There’s this guy I gave a ride in my estate last 2 month. He’s married with 3 kids. Ever since I gave him a ride. He has been disturbing me with calls to ask for money to the extend that any time I give him a ride and he sees money in my car. He will take it then ask for permission, every time we see. He always complain bitterly as if I don’t have my own problems too.

A lot of cases like that. The one he did last really pained me cox I gave him all my last card. He called me early in the morning that he wanted to see me. I was in the bathroom when he knocked. He brought in 2 of his kids early Monday momo, he started with his complains as usual and said there’s nothing for them to eat this morning that I should give him anything. I gave him all the cash I had and foods stuffs then he left.

A lot of cases like that from different people but that is not the point ...the point is inside this same hardship and all. This guy gave birth to his 3rd born. Even me that has a business, cars and my own house. I haven’t even reason giving birth yet.

Please I want to know what exactly motivate this people to start bringing up innocent children to come and suffer. I think this is what the government should regulate (giving birth ) not social media.
The first thing I would do if I become the president
I mean, see man that can't even afford meal a day in the north giving birth to like 10 children, these children will end up becoming beggers, bandits and kidnapper or something worse because their parent couldn't take good care of them
All these has to change
A typical Yoruba man wouldn't so that.
The north has alot to fix, including the way they handle religion

May I respectfully tell you that you can not! By the time I see the bag under your eyes and the lines on your neck, no matter how attractive you look, I will always guess your age rightly!
Wrong,
If you see me, you'll think I'm like 26 year old
I'm just 20
People older than me think I'm older than them, so they try to respect me
It means that is not applicable to everyone
And what I'm just saying is age is just a number
If I'm 50 and I tell you I'm 25, it's non of your businessb grin grin
Romance / Re: Marrying An Older Lady? by ostechno(m): 11:04pm On Nov 29, 2020
sKeetz:
I'm dating an older woman. The difference in our ages is just 2 years. She is everything a man can ever dream of.

She's very supportive. Doesn't bother me and let's me do my thing. She doesn't boss me or anything of sorts. She's also very independent, but the only thing that stresses me out is our age difference and it's quite obvious cause i even look quite younger than my age and she's quite matured both physically and mentally.

Are there any cons to marrying a lady that is older? Guys who are married to older ladies, are there any traits i should look out for ?

Ps: we've been dating for 4 years now, so its not like i just met her. So i know everything about her and she knows everything about me.
Age is just a number invented by humans, the way we invented the clock, you can set your clock to whatever you like, like I can give myself any age I like
