Yamiriflathead:
They all wanted buhari to respond based on the reckless videos making rounds claiming 100s of people died in the massacre.
A massacre happened and there were no blood stains anywhere, no hospital reported that the dead bodies are been preserved in their morgues, no identities yet, the massacred protesters don't have a family, no obituaries, no funerals yet? Those who were alleged to have died have come out to debunked the fake NEWs.
Even if the army seized the bodies of those they killed(which is a lie), the families have not kom out to decry their missing members? Even the protest organizers don't know those who died. Even those who made live Instagram videos were caught posting fake pictures.. in this era where everyone has access to Android phones, nobody has authentic pictures of those who were massacred in lekki.
A thorough investigation needs to be carried out on this matter and people made to face the full wrath of the law

Falz, DJ switch, Aisha yesufu, wailers... We demand to know the identities of those massacred... Oh, even falz posted fake pictures
This guy get tetanus for head, all this hausa buhari supporters. You should know that there would always be fake among the real
If you were at lekki that night, you wouldn't be saying this.
Crime / The Surulere Killing Was All A Lie by ostechno(m): 12:03am On Oct 13, 2020
Think of it, how can you be killed with your hand in your pocket, how can you get shot in the leg and still be pressing phone with comfort. The Police didn't kill anybody in Lagos Please. Those involved in such thing should be prosecuted, it could have become caused a lot of things. And the Media should always verify their source before posting stuffs.

Politics / Re: Nigeria @ 60 : What Are You Grateful For As A Nigerian? by ostechno(m): 3:38pm On Oct 01, 2020
Sunkanmiwise:
I am very grateful for a country, that Nigeria has not split into pieces.

I am grateful that we still have a geographical land we can call our own.

I am grateful that we have not gone the way of Somalia.

I am grateful that Nigeria is still an investment hub, that has made great brand such as TECNO Mobile to invest massively in Nigeria.
Government is not the way out of our bad economy, it's investment, tech companies are emerging in Nigeria and has received investment of over $2billion, soon, we may not have to depend on government again like the United States, 60% of USA economy is from their tech companies
Stats show that by 2050, Nigeria will have one of the most tech driven economy, it will take a while but it'll be good for the coming generations, and it'll be good for our generation because we'll be remembered for fixing the country unlike those breaking the government now
We should thank God for who we are, some countries not better than us
Science/Technology / Golden Raises $14.5 Million To Build AI Powered Alternative To Wikipedia by ostechno(m): 2:04pm On Oct 01, 2020
Golden is saying that it has raised $14.Five million in Series A investment. The round turned into led by using previous investor Andreessen Horowitz, with the company’s co-founder Marc Andreessen becoming a member of the startup’s board of administrators.

When Golden launched last year, founder and CEO Jude Gomila informed me that his goal become to create a knowledge base targeted on regions wherein Wikipedia’s coverage is regularly spotty, specifically emerging era and startups.

Gomila informed me this week that “agencies, technology and the humans involved in them” remain Golden’s power. In that feel, you can see it as a competitor to Crunchbase, however with a much bigger emphasis on explaining and “clustering” facts on big subjects like quantum computing and COVID-19, instead of simply aggregating key records approximately corporations and people. (By the way, each TechCrunch and the author of this post have their very own profile pages, even though the latter is woefully empty.)

In comparison to Wikipedia, which relies on network editors, Gomila said most of the records in Golden is amassed using synthetic intelligence and herbal language processing: “We’re using AI to extract information from the news, from web sites, from public databases.

This is supplemented with the aid of Golden personnel (former TechCrunch reproduction editor Holden Page leads the startup’s studies group), while the bigger network can also pitch in by way of flagging matters which might be wrong or want to be updated. (As one instance of this “human inside the loop” enhancing procedure, Gomila showed me a device in which a person may want to paste in a piece of writing hyperlink and Golden would automatically summarize it.)

“The remaining aim is to try and automate as a whole lot of this as feasible,” Gomila said. “[For now,] this hybrid is the only approach.”

Golden has also started out working with paying customers together with personal fairness corporations, hedge finances, VCs, biotechnology companies, corporate innovation offices and government companies — in fact, it says it signed a $1 million settlement with the U.S. Air Force this year. These customers are procuring access to Golden’s research engine, which incorporates the corporation’s Query Tool and the potential to request that the startup put together research on a particular topic.

Golden has now raised a complete of $19.5 million. Other buyers within the new investment consist of DCVC, Harpoon Ventures and Gigafund.

“Golden’s know-how base and studies engine aggregates records about emerging technology and the businesses, investors, and the developers in the back of them,” Andreessen stated in a announcement. “Human and system intelligence, working together on Golden’s platform, consequences in knowledge which offers human beings the brink in making choices and navigating uncertainty.”
