grandstar:
As long as your ip address shows you're browsing from Florida, you will pay the 50% tax.

It's like when I'm purchasing services on Fiverr.com, I see VAT of 7.5% which is included in my payment.
If it's imposed on the creators, they will increase their prices and buyers will avoid the them. That means revenue loss for FL.

But if it's imposed on buyers, it will affect only buyers from Florida. Lower revenue loss.

Taxes on cigarettes and alcohol are also sin taxes.
But the buyers eventually pay. The subscribers should be taxed to discourage spending in the first instance.

Otherwise the sellers will just increase their prices and buyers will patronize other creators outside Florida leading to less patronage and less income for the creators in Florida.

Everyone in this group should please be careful of someone called #morikee (morikee) morikee
He messaged me on January 13th, as early as 6am, claiming he could help me change my Airtel alternative number. During my SIM registration, my MTN line was used as the alternative number because my younger brother helped me with the registration.
On this platform, some people have complained that Airtel stops subscriptions when MTN is used as an alternative number, so I made a post asking if anyone knew how to change it. That was when morikee messaged me, offering to help.
He initially asked for ₦7,000, but we later agreed on ₦5,000. I sent him ₦2,000 to start, with the agreement that I would complete the payment after the change was done.
Later that same morning, I checked Nairaland and discovered that this same person has the exact problem and had also posted asking how to change his own alternative number to Airtel
I then went to the Airtel office to confirm. The Airtel staff told me to leave it as it is, since my subscription is still working. Based on that advice, I messaged morikee and asked for a refund. I even told him to keep ₦1,000 and refund ₦1,000, but he refused to refund anything.
I’m sharing this so that he doesn’t message someone else here and collect money under false claims.
Please everyone, stay security-conscious and alert.
Seems like a common NL case of impersonation.

FoodRe: Stop Storing Your Food The Wrong Way by Osyxcel(m): 5:54pm On Jan 13
You can wash your vegetable and then freeze. But washing and storing in the fridge is a no no. You can wash, air dry and then put in the fridge. The goal is to remove moisture.

For tomatoes to be used is stews and sauce, you can wash and freeze. It becomes soft when it thaws so can't be used for garnishing.

Storing cooked rice in the fridge and then reheating is actually healthier. This helps to reduce glycemic index, which means reduced blood sugar spikes.

Download this app from play store and login.

When you are logged in select access device.

Next select any device that you want to block.

In my case redmi note 10 pro and then toggle the switch off. The person may still be connected to the wifi but internet not available for the person.

The app is tkonnect by tozed
This is good. Tozed is the maker of ZLT devices.

The Huawei has this too and you can even limit speed for each device connected.

You're using wired access for your Note 10?

Update:

I tried all the methods recommended but the best of all that has given me great result consistently since Saturday is that I chose 5g/NSA/4g as network mode then switch off 5G band lock, chose band 7,8 and 3 ,1 and 41 only.

Also I locked 4G cell 3500/172 and 5G Earcn 627264/221.

My download and uploads have remain largely same over time. See attached.
I'm glad you were able to figure it out.

Since you did band/cell locking, let me just point out that once in a while, you might have issues with the 4G band/cell especially. If that is the case, just restart and if it doesn't work, just remove the band/cell lock and allow the device to connect to any available band/cell until the issue is resolved and then you can return the lock.

It's not something that happens frequently but just to let you know.

Cheers!

Currently this.
That's Band 7 as primary (PCC) and Band 3 as secondary (SCC).

Note this as the combination that gives you something fair as per your need. For now.

Cheers!

Thanks so very much guys.

I tried the different suggestions, band 7 alone here gives around 2-5mbps for download while upload is quite good so, I kept trying different combinations till I combined 7,3,1 and 8 on 4G mode alone which overtime proves to be ok with one the results attached.
Can you snap your cell info?

3500, that's band 8 in my area.

Perhaps he should try locking band 8 alone and see what he gets.

NSEstudent:
In my experience, I have once got the highest upload speed on cell 60 band 8. But that was when I was tinkering and needed to upload one video urgently, a large video.

Over time, band 7 has proven to be the most stable and fastest of all the bands. There is no harm in trying so you can try locking 60,3500 and see how it goes.

Meanwhile, what is the first band your cell uses as primary when all are active? Maybe that can give you a clue of which one has the better download speed which you should lock back to after uploading.
3500? I believe you meant 3400? That's a frequency.

Cell 60 is a cell in your area, so he won't see that. It will be another cell no entirely. There are usually more than one cell in an area.

Guys , pls I need help.

I have been having network issues with the ODU for days now, my router doesn't connect to internet and if it does, it will show 3g if at auto connection mode and no network at all if on 4G/5G.

At times, if connected to 4G/5G, the upload would be very low.

Today, I changed direction of the ZLT ODU, problem persists then I disabled 5G band lock and select only band 7, 3 and 8 for 4G, while my network mode is set to only 4G only.

With this, the download speed is great, I often get the maximum speed 50mbps but the upload speed is terrible, always in kbs.

I urgently need help on how to improve the upload speed as I need it more for my works.

Can you select only band 7? Try that first.

If not much luck, select band 7 and 1.

I don leave all those cell locking thing, especially on ZTE ODU because it has good signal on band 7 and always selects it.

Sometimes I do just band locking. Since band 7 has just cell 491 here, no need of doing cell locking.

By the way, the ZTE ODU has this feature where you can choose to prioritise Video Streaming. Not sure if it makes any difference but I have activated that.
You're right. Cell locking may not be necessary as the device will lock to the nearest cell anyway.

I don't have the ZTE, so I don't know how the video streaming priority works. But it's there for a reason so it makes sense to activate it.

For the first picture please, what does it do? Does it mean I can put in a physical sim and just set to it and it will start working?

Also for the second picture, this is the band option? What do I do there? What band do I lock it to?

Then for the third picture, what do I do there? Do I turn on the cell?
1. Yes, you can insert a physical SIM and select that.

2. 4G, lock to band 7; 5G, lock to band N78. If your network is not much better, you can disable the band lock unless you know the specific band that works well in your location.

3. Unless you know the cell that has the best signal, just leave it as is.

Of all the 3 makers Airtel uses, I guess all 3 have WiFi6 but which among the 3 has the longest range coverage distance?

I have 2 ODUs which are both ZLT ( I think both cover same distance/range)

And also, does this white router has NFC? Cos I can't see the NFC logo on it
Heard the black one has a very good range, better than others.

I just checked mine now and it is -99.

What is the implications of these figures please?
Focus should be on RSRP and SINR

RSRP tells you how the strong the signal reception is, while SINR tells you how clean the signal is.

Higher numbers are desirable for both i.e. for RSRP, the negative value should be lower, while for SINR, a higher positive value is better.

In my opinion and experience, you can get good speed even with a negative SINR but if the RSRP is very bad, you'll hardly get good speed.

Here in my area, 5G is nothing more than a distant dream; we only have 4G or, at best, a touch of 4G+. However, just earlier this week, something caught my eye—the 5G indicator on my router lit up. Curious, I took a peek and saw the cryptic letters '5G NSA' displayed. I'm still puzzled by what '5G NSA' truly means, especially since my video streaming still stutters and buffers like clockwork. I had hoped that with the magic of 5G, my streaming experience would be utterly seamless.
5G NSA is based off of 4G's existing infrastructure. Though it may be faster with lower latency, the implementation matters. If their 4G has not been properly implemented/optimized, don't expect their 5G to be much better.
