I changed the ip, was able to login to normal admin portal but couldn't do much with it. Root still didn't login, internet didn't work.

Funnily enough, my phone, which browsed initially, stopped browsing when I tried other ports and back to the first lan port.

Now I have a theory as to why it initially browsed on phone and not pc. I turned 5G optimization on and the phone typically connects with 2.4Ghz and the pc 5Ghz. Apparently using the X25 as wired router only works with 2.4Ghz when 5G Optimization is on. I stand to be corrected.

I tried many time to get the router to browse again even on the phone with no luck. I even had to switch off the 5g optimization and reboot the router many times with no success. I had to reluctantly reset it to factory settings, still to no avail.

I just plugged MC801A back. I no dey try again jare. Maybe tomorrow but not tonight again

It's working when I visit it while using just the router connected to power, but when connected via the ODU, the IP doesn't open.

Meanwhile, when only power and it opens, admin and root do not login.

root and root also don't. Apparently that superuser interface is not available for this router. This is the normal X25 and not the pro or max variant.

How does that logging in as root work?

I'm testing with the X25 now and, somehow, it's plug and play but it's only browsing in my phone and not browsing on pc. Also, 192.168.1.1, where I would have logged in to change settings is not working.

I will just test with another port now.

I will report when I get it working properly.

Anyway, I don't know the default gateway either.

Regarding the DNS, I don't think changing it changes anything. Only the use of VPN has been effective for me.

Yeah, I have tried the X25 as IDU and i keep getting the 'No Internet' error, so I don't think it's plug and play. Some setting has to be changed, I just don't know where the connection mode is for the router. I mean where to change it to Cable mode, and then proceed to select either Dynamic or Static. Hopefully, you may be able to figure it out.

Some people here said they were able to tweak it and visit specific sites without issues. I have same thought as you but when someone showed a screenshot of said site visited without problems, it was still Airtel they said they used. That's why I keep trying.

Did you connect through dynamic mode or you set up the static IP option?

I don't know why Airtel is struggling to open this site in all my routers. I have to always use a VPN before it works well.

I think this is one of the most useless router out there it has zero tweak functionality i can't even find a way to lock Band or Cell

Thanks brother, I didn't want to bring down the odu, but had to in order to get the password too.

First impressions this seems like a more robust equipment especially when compared to the zlt.

Has anyone read the specs? I will try to search for it again. When I casually searched earlier, it seems both IDU and ODU are Huawei devices. Huawei makes good routers.

I have been trying to register the ZTE G5F which they insisted to register via esim. The thing has been saying my NIN failed validation... nin I have used severally. This kept happening and stalling my acquisition of the ODU I already paid for, for almost 2 weeks. I even had to go NIN office to do NIN validation that shouldn't have happened... Wasted my money!

Today Sha, I wend there and insisted and one of them tried my advice of using the physical sim, which worked. They did well by keeping the device for me as they have run out of devices.

I just took the sim and left. They should come install it any day they want. If it expires, I go acquire that Huawei own.

Seems there's a new set of equipment available now, couldn't identify the ODU but the IDU is Huawei. Will give full description once they come for installation.

In my previous apartment, I went above and beyond to maintain and even improve its condition. I repainted, repaired minor damages, and upgraded the lighting fixtures to better ones that suited my taste. Despite these efforts and living there for nearly two years, my landlord refused to return my caution payment of 150k when I moved out. This was particularly unjust since I left the apartment in a better state than when I moved in, with high-quality fittings.

I completely empathize with the woman's actions in a similar situation. Although I didn't resort to damaging the property like she did, her actions seem justified given the circumstances.

Also, a side note on landlords' overreach: mine tried to claim my chandelier, which I had brought from my previous residence. Thankfully, I had pictures as proof of ownership.
