Believe me man, there is no difference. when i was on dual core, they said that quad core was something else and am on quadcore now and i cant see the difference. so was 4.0 to 4.2.2 to 4.2.4, and now 4.4.2 still no difference

Lol... If you are not an heavy user, you will not notice the difference between Dual core and Quad core.

As for the Android 4.0-4.4, there is no much difference.... Android L is the real deal...

I don't have another mmc, The 32gb mmc is working perfectly on my Java phone. That's my main mmc, was using it in my p5 before I sold it. It's stocked with Android games and apps. I got my h6 last Thursday, and it looks really dry without my memory card. The memory card works on the phone for a while then it will tell me I've unmounted my mmc. I will try another and see what happens.

Pls if I try another mmc and it responds same way, that would mean it's the phone that has a problem, what do I do?

A good class 10 32Gb mmc is btw #3000-#3500

Mine is class 10 full capacity mmc and it's speed is up to 16mb/s

You have to download the Kingroot app you'll use to root the phone.

The MMC might be faulty. Try it out on other phones, if it's still the same, then you have to change the mmc.

Also try other MMCs on your phone.

You'll rarely see Tecno products outside Africa, not that they don't exist, they are just rare.

Xiaomi doesn't make use of MTK, they use snapdragon, that's why their products are more costly than other MTK devices in the same category.

I agree with you on the XDA and nairaland thingy because the reason XDA is more recognised is due to high level of "technical-know-how" and all the wonderful tweaks and hack they do there meaning if such gurus are om nairaland with the same ambition and goal then tecno will be more recognised as well but comparing h6 to p4 after going through their specs I doubt p4 to be over h6

Bros, forget that thing. XDA is just a forum like Nairaland, only that it is dedicated to Android development.

There are many registered Indian users on that site, and since Gionee has a strong base in India, definitely, a lot of users will be talking about the product on XDA, that's the simple logic.

You can open an account on XDA and talk about your own product too, and google will pock it up. There are so many unpopular mobile devices that are being talked about on XDA, many of which you guys don't know here in Nigeria.

When it comes to Tech stuffs, India is a force to be reckoned with. So if a Product is sold in India, it gets talked about more than the one sold in Nigeria.


I believe that Gionee is a better Device manufacturer as compared to Tecno, but that doesn't mean that P4 is better than H6.

smartphone with the Gionee Elife S5.5. They also went ahead to break their own record with the recent release of
the Elife S5.1 model. Their phones are nicely built. Tecno just of recent started
getting better in aesthetics with their
recent releases of the H7, R7, and

you pick a Tecno and a Gionee of
same price range. The Gionee beats

Translation: I want them to create better phones because they'd be creating a great market, the "cheap phones not = bad smartphone" market.

If you are talking about Tecno churning out similar smartphone within a short period of time, that's another thing entirely.

If you criticize a particular Tecno product for a particular flaw(s), that's another thing.

When I first saw the specs of this phone with the price tag it came with, I was wowed, and that's what the O.P meant when he/she opened this thread.

My stand is that we should always be honest with our reviews. If this product is not good enough, I won't stay this long on this thread.
