Politics / Re: Charles Soludo And Coins by otesy: 3:22pm On Jul 16, 2008
A collossal waste of money if you ask me. Imagine insisting that banks should pay out a certain percentage of money withdrawn in coins and instructing them not to accept deposits in coins. You can force a horse to the stream but you can't force it to drink water. I have a stack of coins somewhere that I can't do anything with. They were forcefully given to me at the bank but no one agrees to accept them, even the banks. Please how on earth has this improved my economy Before you embark on certain policies, one should ensure that certain things are in place for such policies to work.

For those comparing us with foreign economies where coins are used, they should note that, they have stuff they can buy with these coins without necessarily having to count out a hundred coins to acheive this. I Naija, with the prices of items, Imagine how many N2 coins you'd have to carry around to pay your bus fare of say N150?

Be true to yourself, how many of you have actually been spending or accepting these coins?
Politics / Re: Bill Of Nudity by otesy: 3:08pm On Jul 16, 2008
She is simply an attention seeker who wants to give the Nigerian Police Force more reason to harrass innocen citizens on the streets of Naija. Soon they'll be asking ladies wearing trousers for N20 before they allow them go in peace.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Zenith Vs Access Bank by otesy: 8:45pm On Jul 01, 2008
@ callyp
tell them joo.

@ poster
I have no business with Access bank but I totally agree with you. Getting a job as a fresh graduate shouldn't be about just the money but what other things you stand to gain from the experience. Access prepares you for the future. Any graduate of Access bank Training school becomes hot cake. Even your so called zenith(cheap skates exploiting Nigerian Graduates) poach gradutes of Access Bank training school cause they know they'll be getting the real thing. A company that will train you for nothing will continue to train you. Starting with access bank is an incvestment in your future. See the 2 year bond an investment, not bondage. All the best, All banks are slave drivers so don't deceive yourself by thinking you'll find it easy with Zenith. You will be in for a rude shock.

Nairalanders, what do you think happened here? I took Citibank test last year at Workforce management centre in Lagos. Jobs/Vacancies / Nbc Recharge And Refresh Promo! A Big Fraud: by otesy: 11:03am On Jun 21, 2008
Couldn't figure out the best platform to air my view so I chose here grin,
NBC's on going promo is just a sham, The value of air time given is N50. To claim this win, you have to text the winning number to a certain number at a cost of N10. You don't get a response until you have sent this text minimum of two times, meaning you have already spent N20 out of the N50 win. Even after getting a response, your account isn't credited most of the time. You then receive a text asking you to call a certain number if your account isn't credited. There goes the remaining N30 (or more considering how long you are kept on the phone). Tell me now ppl, fraud or what

Romance / Your "love" Beats U Up? Reason Enuff To Leave Or What? by otesy: 8:37pm On Jun 14, 2008
You've been dating this guy for over a year. He seems to love you and he's totally devoted to you, seemingly. You have a slight misunderstanding, nothing serious at all and he gives you the beating of your life then apologizes after wards and even behaves klike you made him do it. Tell me folks, isn't this reason enough to end the relationship??
Business / Re: Your BankPHB Experience? by otesy: 8:11pm On Jun 14, 2008
Totally agree with Oyb. What's so innovative about "one day cars will run on water"? Is it just by saying it or by actually doing something to acheive it? Their customer service is lousy, their staff can be rude. Talking from an experience I had once at their branch on Aba Road, near CFC in Port Harcourt. Nothing to wow me about them. Sorry,
