PoliticsRe: The Real Meaning Of "Sai Buhari", This Might Just Shock You by othuskyTM(m): 5:02pm On Apr 23, 2015
MaxNaija:
Nigeria presidential elections might have come and gone, free and fair to say the least, through which the APC presidential candidate Gen. Mohammadu Buhari emerged as winner, defeating the county's top opposition party 'PDP'.

During the election campaign of the APC presidential candidate, one word was on the lip of every APC supporter. Shouting, Screaming and chanting with unwavering support "SAI" Buhari .

Nigerians might have campaigned for Buhari and rejoiced over his victory, but in reality how many really knew the meaning of the popular chanted slogan "Sai Buhari" ? . Maxnaija will be letting you know more about this popular slogan.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Affected By Xenophobic Attacks Will Be Compensated - Obanikoro by othuskyTM(m): 4:03pm On Apr 20, 2015
ozoigbondu:
Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs II, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, is hopeful that citizens affected by the xenophobic attacks in South Africa will be compensated.
Since the renewed attacks started last week, several Nigerians have lost their businesses and other belongings to fire set by locals on buildings where their businesses were housed.
Senator Obanikoro in an interview with Channels TV, said that Nigerian High Commissioner, Martin Cobham and other delegations were taking stock of damages done to Nigerians to ensure that adequate compensation would be given to them.
“We have situations where some of our people lost their shops in this attack.
“We are taking stock of the damages done to them and we are going to be engaging the South African Government,” senator Obanikoro said.
He stated that the South African government had been exploring different avenues to end the attacks that have claimed several lives in KwaZulu-Natal province.
“One of the major stakeholders who incited the South African community has called for a meeting this morning where some representatives of the affected countries would be addressed.
“Some traditional rulers will be there to see how they can douse the situation and ensure the safety of Nigerians and other nationals in South Africa.
“This is a very shameful situation and it has attracted a lot of international outcry.
“I think the leaders have seen the need to ensure that the xenophobic attacks do not escalate.
“The attitude is now more promising and within the next few days we should be able to put this behind us.
“We are working on how best we can get a lasting solution to the problem,” the Nigerian Minister said.

Bros, the Nigerians there say they dont want to leave. I sugested this same thing just when tge attacks started and they were mad at me for suggesting they leave all they own and worked for and return home. So what else can one do for them?
The goverment is responsible for the unmerited act on Nigerians, When the people in are just there with arms fold.

It pains me a lot as Nigerian seeing what is been done to my fellow Nigerians in South/Africa,The government of this country doesn't put the interest of its Citizens first before others if not so how long will it take for government to evacuate its citizens out. Why will they continue to victimize every Nigerian citizens abroad? I don't have a brother or relatives there but its unfair and I must say am ashamed to be a Nigerian U dare not try this with a soul from America.

going about town seeing people celebrating APC win with all the change slogan it only makes remember celebrity weddings where the couple are so happy and only to get divorce after six months

Personally looking at buhari he does not have the strength and charisma to manage a complex Country like Nigeria, with the likes of tinubu, amechi and kwankwaso who are already fighting for positions before his inauguration.

Nigeria will regret the decision of making buhari president very soon we will get to know Goodluck is better

Am only writing the post for posterity because i will quote this post once the real buhari start unveiling

Just my personal thought!!!!
Am a PDP supporter I like to correct ur thought Gmb hasn't start carrying out his obligations yet, so I see no reason why u should
Jump into conclusion. Gej an element of economic waste what happen to fuel subsidy, power supply and our so called naira loosing its value? After six years nothing to show for.

CareerRe: How Many Skills Did You Acquire This Year? by othuskyTM(m): 7:06pm On Dec 12, 2013
infinity001: Let's talk about SKILLS.

So often in this country we underestimate the importance of skills and it's so sad.
We give so much value to career which is sporadically becoming unhealthy to long time productivity and financial independence.

Many of us are satisfied with our education{what we read in school} and we don't care to go to the next step.

This next step is ACQUIRING SKILLS.

As a lawyer and motivational speaker/consultant, I find it absolutely imperative to procure relevant skills even outside of the domain of my profession and calling.

Do you want a long term level of personal productivity{effectiveness and efficiency}? Then it doesn't matter what you read in school, where you work presently or the business you run... You must FORTIFY yourself with SKILLS.

Listen, no man has ever become a billionaire with the salary from his boss.... Prove me wrong.

look around you, the Jimoh Ibrahim, Mike Adenuga, Aliko Dangote, Oba Otudeko, just to mention a few. Have you ever paused to ask yourself how they got elevated to where they are today? Yes I have. They went the extra mile, recognized their dominant gifts in them, and added excellence to what they do.

So many of us are multi-talented yet we wonder why we are not making it in life. We wonder why we are not goi g forward in our chosen career... I have the answer to that. We've refused to go the extra step.

I made a commitment at the start of the year to do everything necessary to grow as a legal practitioner, speaker, trainer and consultant.Growing is a choice and it takes diligence, character and efficiency to achieve maximum growth.

Some of the major skills I acquired this year.
1. 85% proficiency in French. I realized that as a speaker who aspires to reach the whole world with my messages, I must take the time out of my busy schedule to learn new languages and I had to start with French. I can't describe how excited I am that I can speak and write in french fluently... A subject I so much detested in secondary school but I realized that it was relevant to my personal development. My fluency in French, opened uncommon doors for me to France for the first time. Next in line is Portuguese {2014}

2. Entrepreneurship
Even as a lawyer, I believe that entrepreneurship is the one of the keys to financial independence. In as much as I speak on Entrepreneurship, I realized that I must also act it. The desire to acquire viable and formidable knowledge on entrepreneurship took me to conferences and Seminars where I paid a fortune to learn form guest speakers like Brian Tracy and Zig Ziglar. Remember, to learn or develop a skill, you must be ready to sacrifice your time, energy and resources. Today, I'm making far beyond what I paid to develop my entrepreneurial skill... On a daily basis.

3.Project Management Skills and Trainings - This opened doors for me to South Africa, Ghana and Kenya.

4. Information and Communication Technology {ICT} - Development of my programming and networking skills.

Let me stop here. Now let's talk about the skills you acquired this year...
I learnt how operate premier lotto terminal (baba ijebu) i think that's an added skill to the ones i already had.
