Where did we go wrong?

I think it started with the prosperity gospel teachings of pastorprenuers who propagated the idea that wealth was the evidence that you are a true worshipper of God.

So a get rich by hook or crook culture started.

Then it became heightened with hip hop music messages that displayed posh homes and cars and exotic women and also shamed men and women for not being rich.

Then when politicians and fraudulent young guys instead of hiding stolen money, started displaying it extensively with no serious repercussions.

And young girls started displaying the soft life from sleeping with thieves and politicians,


Everything just scatter. Nigeria no fit good again. Just forget it.

We lost a great opportunity to reset either Peter Obi a wealthy man with a relatively clean and simple lifestyle.

He would gave rewired the mentality of Nigerians with his personal lifestyle...compared to Tinubu who will throw lavish parties and enables the notorious elements of soceity.

Nigeria is comatose and there is no politician in power today who can resuscitate it.

I'm more impressed that they had to do a six month training to immerse themselves into the military setting and better understand the historical characters that they are playing

I won't bother arguing with you. But it is betterlong term that a man sacrifice his well being and ride it out till the kids become adults. When the father is absent, the children are physical, emotional and spiritual preys for dubious people.

I tell you. Something happened with me and my little kids last month and I realized that I am a full time Ozuour. I dey spend close to 21,million naira on private day care per year....not regular school ooo. Private day care.

I no talk anything. I just realign my mindset based on the new revelation I got.

Man no need pass 3 bedroom bungalow to live in, close to a nursing school when I retire.

As long as money dey enter steadily from sensuble investments, you go chop life till the end.

Currently, I am having issues with my uncle but the issue is not the problem.

The problem is that there is this particular woman I was owing the sum of N3,500 and she saw me yesterday evening and started harassing me.

I told her to calm down that I will pay her back but she insisted on dragging my name to the mud! She said, Imiano, why is it that every time I give you something, it will take 3 weeks to pay?

"Madam, it's not like I don't want to pay you! It's just that I am having issues in the family and you know that it is usually said, Settle family before you settle the street." I tried to explain with the remaining boldness in me.

"Oh wow, my business is not of utmost priority to you, Sir?" She questioned my stance.

"Uhm, it's not what you think! It's just that I am following some set of principles." I said and started moving again.

This infuriated her and she pulled me back by the shoulder and I lost my balance which made me to fall to the ground, rolled a bit and fainted! At this point, she started shouting and crying for people to come and help her resuscitate me. I didn't stand up until they brought 9 bottles of 3 different brands of non-alcoholic energy drinks!

I pocked 5 cans of the drinks in my baggy trousers, gave out 1 to a boy that followed his mother to come and help me regain my consciousness! I drank one and then, poured out 1 on my head to serve as glucose.

When I was about to go, I requested for one big loaf of bread, then gave her my small phone to hold as a collateral while I go looking for the money to pay her but she refused and said,

"Imiano, please go with your wahala and everything! I didn't know you're #half-dead." While I was going, people were looking at me as if I came from another world!
