Although I don't think you'll have many potential buyers for outbound sales, you can set a BIN between $200 to $500.

I'm new to domaining so my evaluation of domains in terms of price is not very good yet, for the kind of domains I buy, I set a BIN of $450 but I make it clear to the buyers that I am open to any offer they bring.

List the domain on GoDaddy and put a BIN , then forward the domain to your GoDaddy page or list it at sedo with your BIN price and point the domain to sedo landing page.
I think both GoDaddy and sedo are well known and trusted by non domainers

Apart from the Namesilo. com sales page, which marketplace is best for outbound?
I mean one that doesn't require buyers to input details that will make them think that it's a scam considering the fact that most of them are not familiar with the domain market place.

I usually use the Namesilo sales page but this time I registered the domain on network solutions so I need a good and easy market place for out bound, I am currently using undeveloped. com but it seems the buyers are actually afraid of inputting their info to continue with the purchase. Even the guy who has agreed with pricing hasn't completed the transaction, some of the domains have close to 20 views (less that 1 week of purchase) but no offers from the market place even with the very cheap price of $200. I know that the domains are good but bcuz of network solutions complaints, I kept the low for a quick flip. Guys please help, an excellent market place for outbound is highly needed.

I don't think that is the issue. The problem is that I am not getting verification SMS.

I used Zoho for the first email address and a hosted domain email address the second time.

This is most likely due to your sim service provider, try with a Glo number.

Don't worry, you will receive response soon, domain is all about patience, keep trying.

Look at this instance:

Don't forget to follow up with your leads 2,3 or 7 days after the first emails.

Note: send emails to a targeted individual, those that will surely benefit from owning the name.

Atleast when you get a reply, even if its no Thank you, it shows that there is hope.

True, some even make very crazy offers like $10 for a domain you're selling above $150, lol.

But that's the why you are a domainer, you learn from wrong buys and try to get back your initial capital when necessary, no emotions attached to the domains.

Sometimes it goes to spam, sometimes they just read and ignore (maybe delete) without replying to it.
If it's been up to 1 week and you don't get a reply, just send them another email like;

Hello,

We are yet to get your feedback on the email we sent earlier, we would like to inform you that we are still open to offers for the domain name.

Kind regards,

Some will respond with NOT INTERESTED, some will even warn you to stop emailing them, but some will make you an offer even if they don't really need the domain urgently.


N/B: this works better when using the REPLY EMAIL function so that it goes directly to where the first email is and it doesn't look like a totally new email.

On Brandpa you actually submit names without paying anything (unlike brandbucket that demand for 1$ before even looking at the name). You are asked to pay a listing fee of 5$ per domain (covering cost of logo design, marketing of the domain, etc) when they have reviewed and accepted the name you submitted. You spend $5 on every domain you list on Brandpa while brandbucket charge about $11 ($1 for review and $10 for listing).

O mehn in came the brandbucket hype .. brandables dey sell like fire. I sat down one day after analysing like 10 names, i regged them with the sole purpose of selling them as BB accepted names.... oluwa ooo.

I immediately turn supplier, they chop small small 20$ to 25$. I was not happy but contented.

Renewals:
I come dey try balance things but sadly, since i regged many crazy names back den, i had to let go. Infact even though it looked as if i was in money, i was actually broke.

2016:
I read through the two threads on nairaland, i realized my strengths was in brandables. But with brandables, so much uncertainty especially when you are buying handregs.

Brandbucket:

Quickly built a portfolio of about 14 names, but not a single sale, i stumbled across a guy here saying he sold Payarc .com, i strengthed my resolve.

Sadly 2016 my saving grace was doing quick flips for bb accepted names.

2017 :
I bought bolthost .com, na dis name wer mk 2sexy cum think say i don loose my head.

I emailed buyer...
Buyer answered me with 50$
I replied with 3000$
Buyer started abusing me..

I was calm.

2018:

-January got a small contract to supply names
Made $1400

-March 1st sold my first brandbucket name like i earlier mentioned here : $2495.

I took 10% as a tithe and said God i want mk
You give me a better sales.

- june 15.

I sold V/eras/hield .com for $4495

Let me share my 1 month old domaining experience;

So I started reading this thread around this time last month (May 2018), after getting to about page 50, I got motivated enough to buy some (10) domain names on namesilo costing about 26k in total between 18th and 24th of May 2018.

I did outbound for about a week and I didn't get any response from potential buyers so I lost my motivation and totally forgot about domaining around May 30th 2018.

However, exactly 1 week ago (June 7th, 2018) I got an email from namesilo telling me that my domain name has been sold for $300 and I am left with $277.5 after commission.

I have bought 6 more domains since then (making my portfolio 15), and the payout of my $277.5 will be enabled today.

What I have learnt within my 1 month of domaining;

1. Read this thread very well and take the advises seriously.

2. Don't buy domains with very high advert rates (domains where the end users are already advertising on Google and other websites).

3. ALWAYS INCLUDE A BUY IT NOW BUTTON ON YOUR SALES PAGE.

4. The business is real, if it is slow, don't loss your motivation.

5. Make EXPIRED DOMAINS DOT NET your frequently visited website.

Contacting prospective buyers instead of listing the domain in a market place and waiting for buyers to come.

I think the names are not bad. I see a number of end users that can be contacted with these names. You best get to action in contacting end users before the implementation of the new whoispolicy

This information is false. I just called someone in charge of the scholarships at PDTF the person states and I quote. " anyone can apply even if such a person has applied for the January batch, what counts is a very good statement of purpose and availability of required documents"

The fact that you called someone and you were told that anyone can apply for the UK scholarship doesn't give you the right to say that the information I gave is false.
I didn't say that you're not allowed to apply, but it was clearly stated as 'ADVISED NOT TO APPLY'.

I think they are 'allowed to' but 'ADVISED not to', I didn't ask for the reason behind the statement. But you can call them to confirm.

Has anyone gotten pre-admission notice for CSC this year?
