Thanks for this information, please help us confirm the issue of MSc interviews instead of the aptitude test like it was done last year, i.e will MSc applicants write a test or they would be interviewed without test?

Like I said before, there is really no 'hope' of you guys being shortlisted for the scholarship this year, but there is also no harm in trying either. Application is free for this year, so you should apply, upload whatever document you feel could be used as a substitute for the required document, try your luck this year with a focus on familiarizing yourself with the entire process.

Since you've not even started your NYSC, I would suggest that you plan towards the next application round (because even if -which is highly unlikely - you're awarded the scholarship this year with pending NYSC, your discharge certificate won't be ready in time for September/October resumption), however, you could still apply to get yourself familiar with the whole process, especially the exams.

If you know u can't follow our advise here, go and meet that someone to seek for advise to help u out.

Many of us who won Chinese government scholarship used the court notarized copy. If u dont have TOEFL/IELTS for English, you can use WAEC English in lieu and provide letter of english proficiency.

Thanks for the information. Please, who should endorse the English proficiency letter? Is my signature enough or I need to also notarize the letter too?

go to any law court. Tel them you want to notarise. Notarise your degree and transcript for 500 naira each.

OK thanks, but is this one accepted for the Chinese Government Scholarship? Someone told me that the normal court authentication is not valid outside Nigeria.
I just want to be sure, specifically for the Chinese Government Scholarship.

I checked their portal for the status and there is nothing there, just previous status that guide to the training venue.

Don't log in before checking your status, just input you GUYS ID into the 'check status' without your password.
CHECK THE STATUS BEFORE YOU LOG INTO YOUR PORTAL.

I receive that through my email but it still doesn't explain to me what has delayed by backlogs since March, anyways I just hope that whatever it is, it has been sorted out and my backlogs would be paid as soon as possible.

Our (Bayelsa) payment for December was withheld due to late submission of verification list as explained by Mr. Afolabi, that's why I didn't include the December payment as backlogs.

I wasn't paid in January and February.
I have been PATIENTLY waiting for my backlogs since March.

I didn't receive my backlogs when backlogs were paid recently.

I don't know why mine is still delaying but I believe that even as payments are done in batches, I ought to have received mine.

Whatever the problem is, I want to work with you in order to resolve it so that when I am waiting for the next batch of backlogs payment, I would know that there is no problem on my part.

I have attached a screenshot of my payment history from my NPVN portal.

It would have been better for him/her to tell me that the information is not available, I am being owed just January and February, even as backlogs are being paid in batches, I would have received mine if something was not wrong somewhere. ALL I'M ASKING FOR IS JUST FOR THEM TO HELP ME CONFIRM IF THERE IS A PROBLEM OR NOT, SO THAT EVEN IF I'M WAITING UNTIL NEXT YEAR, I WOULD KNOW THAT IT IS NOT A MISTAKE FROM ME.

I am aware of this, I am not requesting for my backlogs. Just the payment history (if my backlogs were sent for payment or not), if there is something preventing my backlogs (from getting to my account) after it has been sent by you (Npower), no matter the amount of patience I exercise, I won't get paid.
When I had issues with my payment, I was told that my stipend was sent for payment but it was returned. I don't want the same thing to happen to my backlogs. You guys have access to all the payment history of volunteers, why is it difficult to just give me the information I am requesting for?

It is quite unfortunate that I have spent 4 days trying to get my backlogs payment history, an information I thought I would get immediately. I just want to find out if my backlogs were sent for payment so that if there is something I need to do in order to get it, I'd do that immediately. Please help me.

Yes, I've been receiving my stipend from March but my backlogs of January and February haven't been paid yet.
