Good morning powerful comrade, thank you sir for your rapid response, the silly mistake I'm talking here as regards state of origin is that, I've made state of origin correction once, my mom is from Benue and my dad from Ogun, but due to some family issues in which I'll like to discuss with you in private, I did change of state of origin to Benue, but then, the family issue has been resolved and I'll like to do change of origin to Ogun state which is my Dad's side, but I noticed that on Jamb portal, change is only allowed once, that's why I seeking your help that what other means could be employed to salvage this issue... Thank you so much my comrade Otokx
Even if a change is done on the university portal, the state of origin will remain unchanged in JAMB end, when time for NYSC comes it will remain like that and God help you if political ambition comes. Anyway during physical clearance you will be told exactly what to do.

Good evening sir,

Comrade Otokx, in preparation for clearance and registration modalities, I'll like to enquire something from you sir.

There's a bit disparity in my year of birth sir, the one I've on my WAEC result is 05/09/1995 which is my real date of birth and same with what is on my certificate of birth. But on my Jamb profile I have 05/09/1996... There's disparity in the year of birth. I really wanna know if this will create an issue for me? And if yes, how can I get the issue resolve sir?

Secondly, on my Jamb slip I've Benue state as my state of origin as a result of some silly mistake, meanwhile I'm originally from Ogun state, in which I've the certificate of origin for Ogun state.. now I've been admitted, I want if that will cause an issue for me during clearance? Or what can I do for me not to encounter issues... Thank you sir Otokx as I anticipate you kind response
Go to Jamb website and make correction of data and pay the requisite fees then take the form to Admissions office for endorsement then they will send it to JAMB, make a photocopy of the form before dropping it at Admissions office.

Was he a cultist? embarassed

Wel growing up in Makurdi has made me to give benefits of the doubt to dudes killed by cultists.

I knew over 7 dudes killed during 2015-2018 period who were never cultist. I'll never forget the death of one of my area dudes then who was shot from behind by the gun man (Cultist) @7pm who did not do a proper verification. His neighbour who was he real deal they came for jumped the fence and ran away till date.

The dudes who pulled that hit were remorseful, but too late as the deed has been done.

I remembered in 2005 how i was almost killed at Plaza hotel in Mkd by some touts who called themselves black skulls ( junior ) just because i had a little business in an area dominated by Red skins (Junior Vikings). They assumed that i must be a Red guy to own a business in a Vikings dominated area. Assumption!! Assumption!!!

I was lucky when they wanted to pull that evil act on me they first took excuse from one of their senior Chairman a popular Cultist then who is my next compound neighbour. The guy screamed "Omo nope oh this Guy una wan fall na Satchet Jew man" grin cheesy

May God continue to guide us all.
The moral of the story is to avoid being in the same environment with people of doubtful character, even if you must distinguish yourself as being totally different not when they hold party or event you are invited and go for a few bottles.

Sir Otokx, my younger brother scored 199 in Jamb and 184 in the post utme exam. We tried applying for supplementary and we received a message that disclosed that he wouldn't be able to apply because of any one of the following reasons.
1. He has been considered for merit admission
2. He didn't score up to 120 in the post utme
2. He isn't up to 16

Well, he is 17 and scored 184 in the post utme exam. Meanwhile, his Jamb caps is still showing not admitted.

What might have been the issue?
How can we attend to it?

Thank you, as I anticipate a reply...
Regno please

This nonsense coming from the University staff. All govt agencies also has a board to oversee the affairs of the agency, and that does not in anyway take away the power of the president to come up with policies for the improvement of the system.
Please its just ASUU that is against IPPIS, the other 3 unions have no problem with it.
