I was going to say the ethnic bigots would soon be here to pollute this beautiful thread, not knowing they had already arrived.

These people cannot raise a discussion beyond the levels of afonjas, Igbos, plenty oil in the soup or no oil at all in another.

Dumb ass folks. This thing is becoming really irritating to the point of puking.

And these are youths in their 20s and 30s who should be having intelligent conversations.

These days I avoid threads on crimes because one iddiot would check names and insist that crimes is the exclusive preserve of one ethnic group.

I don't know what Seun can do, but these set of people who cannot see beyond the prism of Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa are gradually turning this forum to child's play.

Nations dont grow like this. It's unfortunate, really unfortunate.
Something has to be done about this in Nairaland.

While that assertion may be true,we shouldn't forget the bigger problem here ;systematic failure.Having run an NYSC orientation camp clinic myself, I must point out that most of these so called clinics are often ill-equipped altogether from staff down to very basic materials you would expect in a primary care centre.
It is really sad that our government is not able to put up sensible and working sytems in place on these camps. They gather thousands of people in a place and do not provide means by which their health will be taken care of.We ve had camp clinics without drugs, even essential drugs. In my own camp for instance,we had to buy cheap gloves ourselves to see our fellow corpers, contribute money to procure drugs and all sorts of nonsense. Our ambulance was no ambulance,I was always embarrassed going with it to the parade grounds knowing fully well that we only had paracetamol in that "so called ambulance".
Don't even be surprised that we had to fuel the camp bus to procure stuffs we were going to need in the camp clinic with our money.Service to the country right?
Another bright mind lost to this failed system.
We are in a terrible situation, every sector has collapsed from within. We must wake up NOW.
'Nuff of my rants,it always saddens me to hear these kind of news.May her soul rest in peace.
Money was made available but some top NYSC officials stole it which boils down to corruption which PMB is fighting.

The family should get a very good lawyer and also petition the National Assembly.

People should not just loose jobs on account of this but do jail time.
NYSC › Re: Mother Of Kano Corper Who Died At Kano NYSC Camp Recalls Her Final Moment by otokx(m): 12:14pm On Dec 02, 2016
The level of incompetence in Nigeria is so high. It is accompanied by an I don't care attitude given the lack of environmental cooperation.

Billions are budgeted for NYSC but are stolen by the officials. It may surprise us all that the camp has no serviceable ambulance or even the very neutralizing drugs.

You see many Nigerians especially government workers leave their homes everyday to sleep, trade and gist at work. They were employed through connections and know little on the job.

In a sane society, all the NYSC officials on duty by now should be arrested and making useful statements in the police station. All of them including the military personal will have to explain and those doctors if found culpable should be stripped of their license and barred for a lifetime from medical practice.

That banning can't even work because in Nigeria we don't have records. Such people can stroll to a court in Adamawa and declare a new identity and open a drug store.

In the end, its all of us that make up the Nigerian system that killed that young lady if the story put up by the relation is remotely true.

So sad.

So Nigerians Governor are all commissioning Shop rite up and down, what exactly is the issue with us in this country. So a South African company is making so much wave in Nigeria. Wouldn't be surprise if South Africa colonizes Nigeria again in the nearest future, Since Most Companies are from there now(MTN, Shoprite, Dstv), and to say We are triple their population.

Side note, is their any Nigerian company doing as good as MTN and the rest down their in South Africa??
Except for churches like Christ Embassy and SCOAN none o.

Delta State like Bayelsa have made their choice so they should live with it.

Last year/early this year we noticed serious road reconstruction being done on the internal major roads in Agbor complete with drainage, we also saw saw one internal road in Sapele being resurfaced ditto one at Afiesere. There may be others in other areas, government should do well to enlighten the public with credible evidence.
