Normally ecampus is designed so that you can only pay school fees after you may have paid accomodation fee, you can only start physical clearance after paying all fees and after physical clearance at the admissions office you then proceed for medical clearance and then faculty clearance and then ges clearance.

GEJ may not be aware of this.

You are free to eye but its very unlikely, just a few if any names will be in medicine.

for those above 180 they can check with jamb reg no; for those below 180 who have 2014 jamb reg nos work is currently in progress though there are some challenges but they shall overcome which is why we always encourage you guys to pray. Pray for wisdom, for strength, for staff of the university. Pray for favor from God upon the team working in far away Abuja. If it is not well with them; it shall not profit you.

Please pray for them, for safe journey as they return back to base.

There is a year 1 currently in school hostel so i dunno how you guys are talking of getting accomodation in the same place. The present year 1 will probably finish in february. So if coming around you can make plans to squat with fellow good hearted nairalanders for a fee off campus paying per month. If you come in 2nd week in November you can get a place for a month and return home 2nd week in december. Unique uniport encourages street wiseness.

That was how basic submitted your name to admissions office. The ecampus is meant to prevent you from going further referring you to admissions office who will ask you to print out the referral message and add supporting documents. They will then update 2 records 1 of which goes to ecampus and the other which resides in Admissions office and is transmitted to the faculties.

Now you are talking, your jamb reg no can only be locked to one course so chem eng has been chosing for you. Use your basic no to print out your admission and go use that same number to process your acceptance and accomodation.

Work is in progress currently on JAMB website so claim cannot be independently verified at the moment but your name is captured under SSLT in the official records.

Step by step, step1 gather plenty money, step 2 secure an accomodation around school that can ease your movement.

Some current year 1 just paid their school fees 3 weeks ago but that means they missed GES exams. Try and gather money to pay all your fees within the stipulated time. Also ensure you complete the registration. That you paid fees and did examination does not make you a student.

Looks like its all about the money; 30k a day on diesel to generate electricity shows what many businesses in Nigeria go through.

Yes comrade. He took my basic provisional admission slip and my registeration number from me before he agreed to make the correction for me. He did it for us (me and like 4 other guys: meanwhile we were up to 20 that hav discovered ours mainly basic students) because the complaint was in form of a general problem. Meanwhile my admission status and everyoda thing carries my full name.

He has no right to do that; he was meant to redirect you to the admissions office. There is no official instruction enabling him to do so. You will understand better when physical clearance starts and you are turned away to go back to the person that has just misled you.

Just get ready for plenty waka and talk talk.

The procedure to correct name or whatever is thus, you apply in writing to the admission officer for correction of name, if application found to be true then it will be endorsed to ictc and then the faculty notified.

In a case of an audit and wherein you appear for physical clearance you may be asked on whose authority you made that change.

Have you heard of identity theft before? Always do it right the first time to avoid needless stories.

This is a question that cannot be answered for technical reasons; that in itself should give you an inkling.

No you cannot change unless in year 2 after meeting all the necessary academic requirements.
