Onogueks: please, i will be going to school on monday. hope the nasu strike wont affect my payment and registration procedures?.

Payments won't be affected for sure.

Most of that money will be stolen or and wasted, why did he not have the ministry of Education deliver the exercise and text books straight to the students? Looks like election things.

When there should have been surplus, Nigeria is having deficit.

johneewalker: Sir otoks plz can I meet น 2morow..I will βέ cuming Ʈ♡ pay ϝȏя d acceptance fee..will need ǖƦ help Ʈ♡ guide ♍e during d online reg or if any1 Đα† can..plz let ♍e ķи̣̣̣̥Φω..or any economics. Or can 1 pay d acceptance fee in any bank rada than going Ʈ♡ d skul..plz I nid help

no idea about the payment procedures; its not a good idea to go to the bank on fridays, best is tuesday/wednesday. Payment however can be done at any bank branch, must not be in school.

so what is the latest?

Obilouchechukwu: Hi sir otox,...is there any known time for the registeration closing date...??

no idea

ProfChris10: ok. please when are we expecting the 3rd list, hope it won't have expired by then?

hope so too

mcshol: bros abeg. i remain loyal. pls any shimmer of hope. even d slightest one. pls sir

send me an email

Bad comparison.

more confusion; was this manifest released by FAAN?

mcshol: no. geology is my second choice. while civil engineering is my first

ok o.

Deprince36m: @sir otokx.. Plz is d accommodation fee compulsory?

Bros shey you heard GEJ talk of universities paying earned allowances of all university staff from internally generated revenue IGR? This is one way in which universities get that IGR and is what ASUU is fighting against but many do not understand.

Yes pay the accomodation fee whether or not you are going to stay there.

ProfChris10: is there basic programme for chemical engineering?

Yes but wait, if by the release of the next list and no show then you can try that as an option.

mcshol: my average reached 180 for geology which i scored 200

so your 1st choice was in GLY with average of 180?

ProfChris10: Hmmm no 2nd choice candidates to be admitted. Why would they call us for post ume by the way, It would have been better if only first choice candidates was invited for post ume. I guess Nigeria education system is really crumbling. Right now i'm very furious. I guess i should not put my hope in uniport again. GOODBYE THREAD. #sobs#

Anything can happen sha, JAMB may have a rethink, basic program is also there.

@mcshol

how far na?

noted

In all of this the aviation minister has not said anything.

So painting road is now an achievement?

No electricity in UNIPORT and ALUU since yesterday. It came for some hours on wednesday after 4 - 5 days of absence.

Is it only me that saw the i have went gbosa. Having a paper qualification does not mean you are employable.

berem: 8 survivors now confirmed. 3 are crew members and 5 are passengers.

I heard the Aircraft that crashed was manufactured in 1965. OMG!!

That plane is almost 50 years old if this story is true.

planetuzor: thanks...... So which other way except from can one study accounting or economics and gain admission into uniport apart from JAMB and DE?

There is no other way but JAMB, Uniport does not do direct entry.

ClassyGlory: u speak in parable at times, anything 4 ur girl?...happy independence in arrears

Happy Independence; lets give thanks to God in every situation.

Missy4real: Ofcos he was in town nd i saw him

Looks like you are in deception for the Admissions Officer was at JAMB office, ABUJA on Monday and resumed at work on Wednesday.

Missy4real: Hmm na wa o.. I was in skul on monday nd d admmission officer said dat they ve considered 2nd choice candidates nd dat jamb wil soon send d list fr dem any moment frm nw, xo whre re u guyz gettn all dis tynx dat u re sayin nau?

The Admission officer was not in town on Monday so its quite mysterious that you met him in the office.

planetuzor: pls I wanna know, does uniport basics studies run programe for management science and social sciences like accounting and economics?

No

Keep the updates coming

Any news on cashcraft?

mcshol: i was nt admitted in my first choice. which is civil engineering i scored 120 in it

where you not put somewhere or did your average not reach 180?

Rosysea2088: @ sir otoks, but is there a possibility for 2nd choice?

very remote tending to zero

Rosysea2088: are they going to admit second choice or not? Just say it in clear terms. I dont wanna waste my time waiting for Uniport cos some private schools are now in session

okay, its not a UNIPORT thing but rather a JAMB initiative.
