we are tired of the propaganda lies? these politicians are helping themselves with our money.

see how they deceive us by calling big big money, the east west road can be completed in record time with half the amount yet mr sincere nigerian is calling 360 billion.

IBB projects speak for themselves, only the 3rd mainland bridge is enough to knock out those that came after him, hope GEJ can immortalize himself by completing the 2nd Niger bridge and the dualization of the east west road. Power may not be resolved due to a multiciplity of factors ranging from poor gas supply infrastructure to consumer perception of outrageous billing system.

thelastPope: How can you tell the truth? Have you ever read a copy of Nigeria's budget since you were born? That is why you can come to a public forum and post that money for Benin-Ore road has been approved and allocated already before sure-p. Do you even have an idea how monies are allocated for projects from year to year? There is hardly any major federal project that all the required money is allocated in one year's budget.

How much is Nigeria's yearly budget? Of course, you don't know because you are ignorant, yet you claim you know the truth and can actually tell it. You must be a clairvoyant or something.
The east west road is broken down to segments and money allocated for particular segments but if you check successive PDP governments cannot get the road completed cos they allocate the money to their cronies who bolt away with the money after doing some small work that can't last more than a year maximum 2 so the next PDP government re awards the same Lot to their cronies who now do repeat the same washy work.

At least GEJ had the sense of mind to take the entire east west road from ministry of works and give it to the niger delta ministry that way its hoped that something meaningful will come out of it - surprised now that SURE-P is also claiming the work as its own project.

thelastPope: Money budgeted and allocated to Benin-Ore road from where? Must have been from your pocket then. You can't even use your brain. You think federal government just prints money and allocates it to projects? You are a product of bad education.
Thank you sir but we shall continue to tell the world the truth. You the politicians cant be stealing our money by allocating billions annually to repair the same portions of a road.

It is you that said federal government prints money and allocates to project; check my postings never said such and you are a product of very good education.

Keep trying to confuse Nigerians abroad, we all saw what PTF did? If GEJ is serious let him embark on new projects with SURE-P not to be hiding behind existing ones.

Check your trail of lies, first you said 30000 forms in one state, now you are saying that the forms are at the Local Government. Which are they to believe? They referring to those outside Nigeria looking at nairaland cos for us inside we are wearing the shoe and know where it pinches.
Politics › Re: SURE-P Getting The Job Done!!! by otokx(m): 7:07pm On Apr 14, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: What do you mean by "GEJ's achievement is like ghost"

Is the Lagos-kano rail line ghost? Or the Benin-Ore road ghost? Is Benin-Ore road still the same? Are all the projects listed in SURE-P not visible?

Mr man, purge your mind of HATRED for your fellow human being.
Benin - Ore road existed before sure-p and has money budgeted and allocated so please show us projects that sure - p is taking care of, at least you may wish to stick to the railways especially Port Harcourt - to where ever.

Sincere 9gerian: Bad belle dey purge person o!

In one of the states, about 30,000 picked the forms meant for 3,000 slots. Because you eat mama thank you, does not mean others do. I once heard a farmer in the north on tv asking the govt for a loan of N20,000 to facilitate his farming. Get some exposure mr man
Propaganda at its best, so for 3000 slots 30000 forms were printed? chai i give up on such pathetic hallucinations.

Handing out money to people has never solved anything, it only creates more confusion. Have you not heard the saying teach a man to fish? Give it to GEJ sha he is just being smart looking for 3000 people in every state that will form the core of his campaign mechanism, at least he is sure of 3000 times 37 votes. See how our mentality is being insulted, that they will use N10000 to do petty trade. Weep not my eyes.

ma cherie: The only thing that has been sure in my area is 24 hrs of no PHCN and terrible roads. SURE-P my behind! This is all dust yarns. next topic please.

@ greaterlove: for your link you can try driving from iyana ipaja to ayobo in lagos and try asking someone in mushin the last time they saw a flash of electricity. We've been on generator for the past one week in my office!
shout it louder so that mister sincere nigerian can relay it back to his paymasters; that was how i disturbed him over the non existent state of electricity at the University of Port Harcourt and its environs, now we are seeing about 6 hours of electricity at least in every 2 days which is a monumental improvement.

Sincere 9gerian: "large number of the poor and pouring the funds into uncertain and non-everyday-man projects is a waste of funds"

So you call all the projects listed above "uncertain and non-everyday-man projects"? The roads, bridges, rail lines, etc? And all the project were named and clearly stated? Now that is an all time low for you.

Again, how is the fuel subsidy scheme benefiting a "large number of the poor"? How many poor persons (real definition of poor) have cars? How many poor persons have generators? The rich person or middle class that buys petrol to fill their SUVs versus the poor who uses public transport, who benefits more from a N1trillion fuel subsidy budget? In addition, the high capacity buses that is becoming popular these days for public transport all use DIESEL. Diesel is not subsidized.

As far as I'm concerned fuel subsidy feeds the affluence of the rich and middle class and empowers fuel marketers. Most importantly it is a dis-incentive for establishment of local refineries. I hope you read the thread about Dangote plan to build a refinery? There he clearly identified fuel subsidy as an impediment
10000 per month to poor people shey? well what mechanism is used to determine who is poor and who is not? The same way they are looting our resources in allocating money to non existent militants who turn out to be their friends and cronies. If Goodluck does well i will be commend him but the truth is 3 years from now we shall still be on this same page that is if we have not gone back. You talk about diesel powered buses for transport, i have not seen any 1 of those buses in Rivers State or is it hiding somewhere.

We shall never be tired of stating the real state of things in Nigeria, we are tired of lies and photoshopped projects. We are tired of a road project not completed over a span of 10 years yet commissioned by 2 presidents who stayed 8 years each in Power on invitation of 2 state governors who also stayed 8 years each in power. Of the 50km dualized road they just do about 2 km of one part and then eureka presido comes to commission it and then his praise singers do what they know best - dividend of democracy. This is a particular reference to the road that goes from the Port Harcourt International Airport to the famous Obiri Ikwerre round about Amaechi so proudly talks about.

Now there has to be a separation of costing, most of the projects you have listed fall under ministries that are constitutionally empowered to develop this country. Personally i'm surprised that my darling project the east - west road is coming under sure p? so what is the ministry of Niger delta doing and what are the staff collecting money for if their main project is under sure p?

Can you also enlighten us on this allocation of 10000 per month to 3000 people in every state? Whoever came up with such idea needs to be crucified upside down. So for instance as a governor of Rivers state i will just send names of 3000 of my friends and family and probably church members and party members to sure p for onward payment of monthly allowance. Talk of share of the national cake abi? Then we wonder why we are walking backwards? Small time they sure p militants beneficiaries will soon agitate for increase.

What a country?

9free: Japual is on the right track. The only force needed to drive it is for Jegede to reduce OPEX expecially management PERKS and other unneccessary OVERHEADS.
i think Jegede is worse than Tinubu in the way he treats shareholders by accumulating so much OPEX and management perks.

One undeniable fact is that the power sector reforms is on course. The PHCN union, the international community all recognize this.its an undisputed fact
How come it does not take time in other countries? You are just content to be sending your prayers to the clouds. Let us wake up and throw off the garment of mediocrity and wickedness.
