@redsun God bless you for your patience and wisdom, the problem with Nigeria is the very Nigerians living within. Some of those transport companies ought not to be in operation giving past cases of recklessness. Why should the driver stop to pick passengers along the road? Why would the manifest be improperly done? Is there a separate monitoring unit to check the conduct of the drivers on the roads. FRSC ought to stop and check the drivers for trace of alcohol in their breath especially the transporters. |
Hope this will bring some sanity to Delta state. Rivers should follow suit as the rate of kidnapping for cash ransom is on the increase. |
The real issue with the newly constructed and on going construction of roads is it appears they have expiry date of maximum 2 years whether vehicles use them or not. |

They should leave my golden governor alone o. |
Awuse and Opara... hmmm, Awuse is understandable but Opara used to be a gentle man. The police should have not been in a haste to speak, this bothers on political intrigues not criminality. |
birdman: You can be educated and corrupt, but your education makes a difference. Instead of brazenly stealing money stashed in bags and sending them abroad, educated politicians at least start industries in their own backyard with that money. They would rather award themselves a contract to build a world class hospital, because they may need it some day. Even Fashola has been criticised for favoring a few, eg Tinubu with contracts. But you know what, it still helped Lagos state. That really is the difference between the Nigerian politician and other politicians - education and a good dose of common sense. So you want an oil block? OK, at least start something with it, like Dangote instead of junkets to countries where nobody even knows your name.on point |
rest in peace sounds old fashioned & unscientific, hope he left a bit of cash for those left behind. Lets all make Nigeria a better place before we die. |
kudos to GEJ on the Benin - ore road |

Very beautiful, does Singapore airlines fly from Lagos? |
That is why corruption is entrenched in the Nigerian polity. |
Is that the road in the picture? |

@peleson your last sentence amused me, we do not need phantom & unsustainable ICT centers. We need roads that have a minimum lifespan of 15 years with good drainage and a minimum of 18 hours daily electricity. Thank you |
