@awodman

If there is an improvement id be one of the first to shout it from the roof tops, we the people are suffering and suffering terribly, check out small business owners and how much they spend on petrol just to generate electricity.

Yes, there is some on going work at our airports but is that really what we need now? how long will those structures last? Is that of any benefit to the masses?

Na the same place he dey, you move front and you move back in fact backer so its walking backwards, the minister is not ashamed to open his mouth and tell us we have less than 4000MW despite the trillions of dollars spent. What a great pity? They should go and beg south africa to show them the way out of this quagmire..

Car Talk › Re: Car Owners Prefer Fake Insurance From Licencing Offices? Why? by otokx(m): 3:47pm On Apr 10, 2013
blank: I insured with Insurance PHB (Comprehensive insurance). I had two separate accidents. When it came to time to pay, come and see negotiation. They paid less than 10% of the cost to fix the car and not even up to the premium I paid. This was after more than 2 months.

Now, I just do 3rd party and don't bother with any yeye insurance coy cos I no get strength for their back and forth and lies upon lies.
That is the normal thing that happens in Nigeria, when you have money just close eye repair next time drive carefully and pray that the person who hits you will also have the same spirit.
Car Talk › Re: Car Owners Prefer Fake Insurance From Licencing Offices? Why? by otokx(m): 3:09pm On Apr 10, 2013
Benaig: It is only the fake third party papers that you cannot claim with. Go to a registered insurance company and tell us which one will fail to pay your claim for third party liability even when you are at fault.

It is to protect you even when you are at fault against third parties
Tell that to the birds, even brand new cars that have full insurance when issues come out you have to visit and visit and visit the insurance companies before they will pay a part of it.
Car Talk › Re: Car Owners Prefer Fake Insurance From Licencing Offices? Why? by otokx(m): 2:38pm On Apr 10, 2013
Those 3rd party insurance papers are only useful in keeping you from the wiles of the policeman and maybe FRSC. In the case of an accident you will have to bear the cost especially when you are at fault.

awodman: My friend STFU!!! YOUR SCHOOL GENERATOR ONLY COMES ON BY 7PM .If you wanna go further to argue that its because its a matriculation day, then maybe you can give me a reason why thr was light yesterday between the hours of 5-6:30 PM,cos I was in your school around that time yesterday.
Like I said earlier if you say its nt stable then I agree with you,but saying there is no light at all is a blatant falsehood
Mr STFU, our generators come on at any point in time on the instruction of management, they also come on btw 7pm and 11pm in the evening and a certain period in the early morning. There has been no nepa electricity in the past 4 days beginning Friday and not only in University of Port Harcourt but in 90% of greater Port Harcourt.
Politics › Re: Is Nairaland Now A Rumour Mongering Forum? by otokx(m): 5:58pm On Apr 09, 2013
eGuerrilla: @Sincere 9gerian, if I might add, you've exhibited an uncanny ability for embellishment yourself - something akin to spreading rumours grin Or how else should one locate your demonstrative fervour for touting comatose and paper-based projects as the real deal cheesy

Contrived disclaimer: I am only pulling your legs... Even your detractors recognise your admirable efforts at image-laundering for Oga at the very top.
no be small image laundering; we should be objective, electricity in Nigeria has been worse this first quarter of 2013 than the entire 2012 in Port Harcourt where my body operates. We are hearing the same thing is happening in hitherto excellent areas like Abuja and Lagos yet some people will be telling us of power projects being commissioned here and there.

awodman: Stop this your display of stupidity..I was in uniport on that same day for my younger brother's matriculation and thr was light..precisely I was in Kwame Nkurumah Extension hostel.I can only agree with you if u say the light is not stable. So stop trying to hoodwink us with these your old lines
Mr display of stupidity, That was the school generator and it was only for some hours, you can call your junior brother to ask him when last he saw electricity from PHCN

Kesmakveli: The same ish over here in Nkpolu Rumuigbo in porthrcourt(& some oder parts in d state), for 4dys now, nepa hasn't blinked d light.. The same thing observed in the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Aluu, Alakahia, Rumosi, Rumuekini, Rumualogu, Ozuoba, Mgbuoba and the adjourning areas.
Politics › Re: Foreign Investors Pour Into Nigeria As Economy Accelerates (Updates) by otokx(m): 4:52pm On Apr 09, 2013
Rossikk: These investors employ world class analysts and strategists who already KNOW what Nigeria's power generation profile will be in the next 2 to 10 years. Their investment decisions are not guided solely by the current situation. The ongoing power sector reforms are on course. Privatization will ensure effective delivery of power. They KNOW this. Unlike YOU who doesn't know, THEY actually KNOW. cool
so it is not 2 - 10 years abi? well done!!! Please tell your oga Jona that there has not been electricity in University of Port Harcourt since friday last week.
Politics › Re: Is Nairaland Now A Rumour Mongering Forum? by otokx(m): 4:49pm On Apr 09, 2013
Its no rumor, there has not been any electricity in the University of Port Harcourt since Friday last week which incidentally was our matriculation ceremony.
