ok then, lets hope for the best, of the companies you listed there the one i can verify that is on ground and doing very well is INDORAMA but my grouse is that most of their profit returns to their parent company in their native land. The federal government should have compel most of this companies to list on the Nigerian stock exchange. |
I hope they are not like the foreign investors that come and strip away our assets eg RUSSAL, Pentascope et al? |
mekaboy: When the president opens the gates of hell and pardon all the evil forces, what was he expecting?on point |
but who said MEND is the one that killed those policemen? |
The 3rd quarter 2016 refers to the port while there is no timeline giving to the airport, correct me if wrong. |
Looking at the way a lot of the Niger Delta boys who carried arms are now being rewarded with jeeps and large sums of cash plus bogus contracts and police escorts, it is safe to say that every Nigerian should be granted amnesty. Truth be told Amnesty process has and is being abused and people are seeing it, personally know of a guy currently in Benson Idahosa University on full government scholarship just because his uncle included his name as a militant. Every Nigerian who is willing should be entitled to a full university scholarship funded by the federal government in a federal university. We do not have to claim to be militants to enjoy the use of basic amenities or access to university education. |
okpara ugo: Ehen, where are those calling PFN and CAN an extention of PDPbut he is no longer the president of PFN and CAN now. |
Normal Nigeria the more you look the less you see things. How can a project have no timeline but yet it is on course. |
Long life and prosperity to the poster for saying the truth and also if you can stick largely to it. These politicians are just having a field day stealing our money and taking it abroad. Look at the deputy governor having landed property in Ghana and declaring 1.2 billion as worth in Naira. Has she been able to take a kobo of that into the place that she has gone to? We know that the money she stole is far more than twice the declared amount and that could have been used to increase the life expectancy age of the ekiti people. For those saying pity should be shown on the children left behind by way of caution - they should know the truth. They probably wont even be in Nigeria anyway but they can do the right thing by returning a greater percentage if not all back to the ekiti people by way of embarking on massive developmental projects in that state. Note i did not say return the money to the government because they too are no better and will only loot the money. |
This my golden governor should try and cool down for Jesus; it is the media that is causing more problems for him by blowing his statements out of proportion. |
This must be some kind of joke. |
Is he just waking up? Tot he had handed over. |
13 policemen is no joke; waiting for the official reaction. |
How many times will this woman die? |
I know my president will have the last laugh. |
deor03: 1.This guy has brought decorum into the banking sector. The flamboyance that was the norm 4/5 years ago have drastically reducedthe ATMs are no longer working as before. |
interesting |
Dranatomy: Day Driving should be for Mini cars only while Trucks and tankers should operate only in the night...They are killings are more than Boko Haram....F.R.S.C Take note! This would save a lot of lives |
At poster you were very lucky, the problem with Nigeria is the corrupt mentality of the majority of the people in it. First of all it is a crime to keep to any appointment, there will always be an excuse to be late - its a part of our culture. It does appear it is now in our culture to defraud every and any person to the best of our ability knowing the person may not have the patience or time to take the matter up. I still get baffled when i see 2 people based in the UK who met there still coming back to Nigeria to do wedding; personally think its crazy and suicidal. |
@shabz 70mph is not so bad |
Its so funny when Nigerians based outside Nigeria talk about issues inside Nigeria. The disconnection is so much that one does not but help and smile. The people here are used to the wrong mentality that we only deserve what comes our way. I have friends who drive in Nigeria with a valid drivers license but have been failing consistently for the last 5 years the driving test in the UK. Our saving grace for now is that night travel has been banned and our roads are still bad, once they roads get good you guys would do well to come and set up mortuary businesses because cars will be tired of hitting other cars and will start ramming into houses and kiosks on the road. |
gerald09: When will this people stop carrying fuel by road, people are dying its tragic.how else will they carry the petrol? |
Its not a crime to make requests sha & that is where the story will end. |
He has single handedly destroyed ATM propagation with his removal of 100 charge by users of other banks. |
just live your normal life |
customer service is a big issue in Nigeria, the providers will always want to pass the bulk to the consumers who they try to paint as ill informed, sad part is with few choices we get stuck in a kind of quagmire. |
isn't it ironic? |
My dear they are all the same, was with etisalat then moved to glo and later mtn, all of them mess up well. |
@feelamong so what is the next big stock? is it still advisable to go into sterling bank now? |
