There is a lot stories between those days o, from me thinking I had to Fund first before booking Visa Appointment because the embassy misinformed me, to getting a way out via the thread After a friend told me it's not necessary and Visa booking had closed.

NOW THE COURIER ISH...
As at yesterday morning(11/10/2016) my courier service(DHL) were saying they had not received any parcel from the embassy, in fact d online tracking says d same thing.
DHL even called me to tell me this in the morning around 11:00AM. Thank God I had mailed the embassy earlier the same morning to ask what was delaying my parcel since 30/09/2016, that I submitted my Passport and insurance.

Until the embassy mailed me telling me, they have given my courier since Friday(07/10/2016)....see has fear rush enter my body, since Friday!... I called the customer line, same we have not received it,contact the embassy story.... I had to go to their head office in Oshodi area and they said the same thing, that their track shows they have not received it. So they called their branch in VI to go check, and would give me feed back before yesterday ran out... See as more fear and anger escalate for my body. Shuuuu! , a fellow friend that submitted on 30/09/2016 that used FedEx got his parcel on Saturday(08/10/2016). Me weh pay moremore, #2500, I stay within Lagos o, and my parcel still dey get hold up.

While going home they called me that they just received it and it's at the branch office in VI, meaning they just went to the embassy to pick it.They were now asking if I wanted it brought to my house, which could be on Wednesday, that is in two days o...see question. I told them I wanted it today(that's yesterday) anywhere I would come for it, even if nah untop water. So I went to Victoria Island, the office that had it and waited for their agent that went to collect parcels.i got their the customer service told me they don't have it there too.... Before he made several calls and told me to wait, it was Until 5:36pm, before I got my Visa.

That's how I missed this week's Introduction class in school due to DHL error.

Stanbic still debited me later month for #3965 claiming it's maintenance fee...

Hello guys... I need una Advice biko...

I submitted my Passport and Insurance last week Friday and I had to submit a written letter on permission to choose a travel date between the 7 days gap,due to registration I am expected to have in school this week. I even stated in the letter, I could come down to pick it myself if it's possible.

As I write to now, I never get any response to come pick my Visa or Visa delivered by DHL...
Though I had made my school for Grace into next week. Do I just sit and keep refreshing my mail or....

No, it doesn't affect your chance. I got my mail on a Monday with the seven day clause too. I submitted on a Tuesday and wrote the next Sunday as my intended date of departure (which was less than seven days). I then politely requested from them, in the letter I wrote that I would prefer to pick it up myself. I got a mail the next day(wednesday) after I submitted my passport to come and collect my visa the next day (thursday)!

I hope you get me? You should write politely and explain the condition of things with respect to registration in your school. Submit the letter with your passport & insurance. You would be considered. Best wishes!

Hello guys, The mail to send my Passport and INSURANCE came in today and there is a 7days gap in which I can't pick a traveling date. Meaning I can only pick a traveling date from next week Thursday there about.

But reg in my school comes up on Tuesday and Wednesday...
Can i pick Wednesday as traveling date... Hope that won't affect anything. I need una advice abeg.

A lot of posts gone by, it's been a veeery busy period..

Let me use this opportunity to encourage those still waiting for their visa approval...

I know every single mail alert you get on your phone would pump your heart like a Ferrari engine, and perspiration running down your temples as your shaking hands attempt to open your phone just to see a LinkedIn notification or a mail from your bank stating, "ATM fraud alert ". Then you refresh your mail every minute even as your hand automatically does this as a routine without thinking about it.

You begin to pray often, even for those who haven't for a while and promise God a Bugatti and how you will become holier than Jesus if your visa were granted.

You look for people in same 'predicament', and they become your 'best' friend for the moment as you guys begin to analyse dates, numbers, permutations and signs of the zodiac just "untop this visa matter". Those who haven't funded are also in a different kind of fix, some wondering why Nigeria have messed them up so much that they cannot even fund even with their money while others are seeking ways to complete theirs.

When you hear/read that someone you know just got a vjsa approval, you go back to your knees 'mountain-of-fire' style and wonder why the angels are taking time to deliver your answers, 'cos you can't deal with them fighting any prince or persia so you wonder if you should just directly appease these gods.

Alas! The much awaited mail will finally land, and you will almost throw away your much loved phone in excitement and your mind will 'auto-search' the nearest business centre to print, looking for the cheapest travel insurance, etc..
Then finally your year long dreams are right before your very eyes, be the matter what it may, you wont be carried away because this could just be a dream, your excitements are curbed until you finally have gone past that ibo/rivers/akwaibom man at the gate, and you are called forward to get your passport with your visa stamped on it.

All will be well my brothers and sisters, all will be well!

Tell your school a firm u work for needs it...by so doing your school will send it to the firm... And you will have the original copy to scan and send to as many schools as you want.
Just make sure it's a firm that will hand the transcript to you.

8800 @ 462, you do the math (Smh forex is just ridiculous). It was transferred from a domiciliary acc, so no need for any documents like admission letter. I'm just waiting for DB to give me my statement because tomorrow will be a week since my interview and they said to send my proof of funding.

I don't think so... I speak for Zenith BANK now.. I applied on the 17th of last month and yet to be debited. I was at Zenith HQ yesterday. I was told my application is in FX already, nah patience dem say I need, but how soon can it be... They don't know... No be small thing o.

According to them, People that have applied since June never get, even lower amount and People still applying.

It's sooo serious.

You need to really ask them and be sure any of the said two can process it, I mean the availability of FX. Two, how soon can they go about, with that you can make your decision.

I hope no be say you wan attempt the two at once guy.

I will suggest you go to the Branch as well, most applications are eventually sent their for processing.

Please, I'm in a dilemma right now. I've gone to different Zenith banks and i was told that they do not have form A presently. My brother also went to an Ecobank branch today and the guy in charge insisted I have to present the school's ID card or else the transaction would be declined by the head office. I need advice on the next steps to take as my deadline for enrollment is September 30

I Applied through Zenith too, though it's about 2/3 weeks now. Yet to be debited sha. I just pray Zenith no go fall my hand. They keep telling me they are in it.

Thanks bro. Interbank rate is around 330-390 but the truth is there is no more forex so banks wouldn't respond to Form As. BDC is around 420-460. It's therefore on the high side.

So no hopes from FOREX... Or what's the way out because it seems BDC is the only way out

Certification ain't Bad, Bro.... The question is on its recognition here in Nigeria, GIS has a field here requires huge years of experience on its applications. More so, I observed nah Geologist dey use d discipline most here, meaning if you want to be an hot cake, a background on the field could help.
