The former Lagos State governor, late Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande once wanted to become Nigeria's president. Former Lagos Military Administrator, Brig. General Buba Marwa (rtd) also aspired to become Nigeria's president in 2007. I wonder what they would have used to the campaign if Lagos was nothing to write home about until 1999 when senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu became governor, according to those campaigning for Tinubu.
