So many things wrong with this response in my opinion. The spouse can and i advise should transfer the funds to his wife who is the PA. He ony needs to write a letter of explanation that he did so to assist in meeting the funds requirement for their family size. To further support this,
he can opt to include his work history and reference letter under the employment section of his own form during eAPR just to show that he earns an income however this is not compulsory. The PA should submit her 6 months' bank account statement and any evidence the cooperative can provide to show how long the funds she invested with them were held for and so on. The spouse does not need to provide any evidence from the cooperative.
The PA should use her international passport as it is and should not use any 'new name' or fill any other name anywhere else as there is no evidence of such a name on any of her documents. A marriage certificate suffices to show prooof of relationship to her spouse.

From IRCC website, it is clearly written that pof should be in the primary applicant account. So, I know what I am saying. However, that does not mean if the pof is in the spouse account, it won't be honoured.

Before you crucify me, are there not so many gift deeds that are done on borrowed funds? Gift deeds have been so over used. I won't be surprised if VOs stop the use of gift deeds.

What do you mean by concealment? If the VO wants more information, they can always request for new bank statements from the applicant to be sure the money is still there. I have seen application rejected with gift deed but I am yet to see applications that were rejected when the spouse transferred funds to the PA's account. They genuinely have the fund, so why should they use gift deed?

Did you even take your time to read my post? Did you see my question on if the cooperative is registered?

I have given my advice. It is not by force that it has to be taken.

Yes and also my cooperative is dropping my funds in June and my first ITA would expire July 10th wanted room for the money to breathe in my account or if there is delay. It's cooperative for government workers and sometimes there are delays.

You can liquidate the money from your cooperative funds into your account, then transfer it to your wife's account. A simple LOE from you will be sufficient for the money transferred cos you are an accompanying spouse.

However, for her own cooperative fund, she will need to show evidences that the money was hers in the first place. An agreement signed by her to start the cooperative, bank statements showing the monthly deductions from her account and a letter from the cooperative showing when she started contributing the money, total money contributed and explaining that the money transferred to her account is her contributions and that there is no repayment required might suffice.

Is the cooperative registered? If it is not registered, it might cast doubt on the authenticity of the letter from them. If she can get a Cheque from the cooperative, it will be better. She can then deposit the money in another account that she has, transfer the funds to your account and then you transfer the money back to her salary account.

My advice is this: think of any questions the Visa Officer might have with regard to your POF and ensure you have answered all the questions.

Also, like I said previously, no need transferring the money again to your wife. It may appear you are trying to conceal something. Please note that I said, it may appear. Then you can explain your proof of funds in your letter of explanation. And if you can liquidate this cooperatives investment today, please do, but get the certificate and letter from them and also hope your cooperative is registered.

Hello everyone, I have been stalking this thread since late February and I just decided to thank everyone for the wealth of information provided here. Here is my timeline:

IELTS (My hubby and I) - 25th March 2017
Applied for ECA using WES - 18th March 2017
ECA report - 28th April 2017
Express Entry pool - 30th April 2017
ITA - 3rd May 2017

We hope to do medicals and PCC this week and hopefully submit the application by next week God willing.

something has been bothering me. All my funds are in 2 cooperatives societies. If i get an ITA today, and i ask them to liquidate the bulk funds into my bank account and back it up with a letter stating my relationship with the cooperative, will this raise an eyebrow?assuming like funds of 1m lumpsum each.

secondly, assuming my husband wants to send monies to my account for the purpose of POF and the said funds was liquidated from a cooperative society also. will he need to write a letter backing up the funds or will he need to show a letter stating that he has been saving for the POF to me? am a little confused because the funds from the other cooperative society is not in my name.

Pof will be shown after ITA is got.
You don't need to liquidate the investment in 6mths. A letter of explanation will suffice.
