Togolese man boasted that he had a million copies of the paper and that he was willing to sell us the chemical (All purpose mercury oxide) for 220,000 naira. I explained that I couldn't afford such being a student. The other man(whom he was working with) offered to buy it. He walked into an ATM and moments later, appeared with the cash in hand. Togolese man brought the chemical and warned it was highly concentrated, and asked us to dilute it. He advised us to meet a mortuary attendant to help us with the task.

We all went to meed the attendant on the road opposite Ocean bank and he started saying all manner of lies.

The other fellow, whom unknown to me he was working with, requested to see the goods to confirm his story. Togolese guys began pleading and begging us not to cheat or kill him as he had kept the rest of his goods at a reverend sister's house at a parish closeby.
He showed his partner a paper he claimed his father once gave to Buhari, Dnagote and Goodluck in exchange for oil. He claimed that that if we poured water on it, the color would change. I noted that the paper was brown in color and quickly rushed to get a bottle of water to experiment. When he poured water on the paper, he folded it in his palm and by the time he revealed the paper to me again, it had been transformed to a 500 naira note.

I have a read a lot of stories about people's encounters with ritualists on nairaland and other sites. Today, I had a personal experience.

I went out at about 5:30pm to get some drugs for my sister who was having a headache. Those who reside in Lokoja should be familiar with Fen junction close to GTBank. There, I met a man who approached me. He had a french accent and claimed to be from Togo. He claimed he had lost his way in Lokoja for the past two days and was searching for a business partner of his who owns a plaza called Destiny plaza. I had never heard of such plaza in Lokoja.

Another fellow who stood in front of me(I had no idea he was his partner in crime) walked up to us and offered to help us locate this plaza owner.

I asked why he hadn't called the lady/owner and he said a lady took him into a hotel, drugged him and made away with his BB phones and $2000. He said he had brought along with him good mobile phones, laptops and other gadgets that he intended to sell before returning to his ship at Apapa Lagos...
