So I heard, I don't really know much about the bank and board transaction with remita.

Work of remita:
Payment of Salaries:
Remita enables direct payment of salaries from any bank account into beneficiaries' accounts in any bank or other designated financial schemes.
Payroll, Pension Processing and Biometrics:
Remita enables customers to process their payroll and pensions and carry out biometrics enrollment and verification of their employees and pensioners.

...I just hope people dey board and ministry by Wednesday....this is not funny

Our account officer supposed to this for us. Replacing the old with new account number. All hope of receiving our salary on 28 December is not lost. One of our colleague told me that he approach the bank last month on sighting the message, and he was informed that it will not affect us the staff of Rivers state government, and that was why he felt relax last month. Also, another colleague told me that our zonal account officer called board, and he was informed that Access bank submitted their remita to the board late, that our salary will come by next week. Meaning if the information from them is true, our salary will come on 28th December, but when it fails to come, it then means that NEFT has affected us, and we need to act fast to meet both the board and ministry of finance for immediate action and payment.

Na to go board submit this account or to go straight to ministry of finance....am just having paranoia when I think of my Feb/ march 2016 with that BVN saga and now this but I do believe it will be sorted out.....

This one way crossing....and who fly over help...oh...e help him pocket as a governor....it's only in Nigeria that mediocrity across board is celebrated .....when countries are advancing in terms of human capital development....we are celebrating fly overs....

I haven't seen an NNPC staff or an oil servicing firm staff whose yearly rent allowance is 3millions and earning atleast 300k complaining like we do ...we are not trying to compare ours selves with them....but they are motivated to do their jobs because they are taken care of and work in a conducive environment,....I work in a place where I don't have a staff room, I hang around, the classroom are licking and full of algae a except this dry season...no promotion, no increment nothing....and one smart mouth wants to put a label on us....we have an endemic system that needs to be corrected.....teachers need their reward on earth...

Just finished reading this thread. sad to say you guys are not real teachers.You are only doing it for the money.Every time,alert,salary,faac, promotion.when have you guys discussed ways of improving the performance of the students in your respective subject?or improving the educational system in Rivers State?quiz,seminar?

Na to ignore you....no be when your well motivated you go think of seminar....

I just pray that the new government....changes things....oga at the top is busy giving ₦1 billion to politicians and most civil servants no fit buy rice and chicken combo for xmas

Honestly teachers deserve motivation now not query, if the government dey do the right thing, people will take this job more seriously, a job that cannot feed you properly to the end of the month and they want you there everyday...e no go happen now....who them don sack we no answer their query, I can only do my best...I no go kill myself..

I don't think so,maybe tomorrow which is the sixth working day from the day of FAAC. I guess from Thursday latest Friday...on Monday is public holiday because of independence day on the Ist which is Saturday and has to be shifted to Monday...but that's my own analogy and assumption..

Governor nyewom wike is now paying civil servant salary in the first week of the new month and no longer in 25th or 30th as usual, is this the new trend now?

I hope this governor will promote us before he leaves office.
