This payment is anyhow....some people are receiving 115k, 110, 127k I don't understand...my family friend in L8/4 was paid 115k.....Na wa

What I need to see now is alerts....abeg

I was expecting SIM to come out like other governors are doing to say his adding even the least 10k and effecting these promotions like other governors are doing....but well, he takes orders from his master am not surprised....what buffles me is that Rivers state has the resources to do so...why stagnant workers....

Politicians are next to devil's....they've ruined every sector in Nigeria including the judiciary that would've put them under check.....I don't blame them I blame the ordinary folks who are gullible and they use all over again...

The information I got just now was that those in account section of our boards inflated our number which reflected on our wage bill to a crazy extent. Thus, prompted the halt of the promotion exercise.
Meanwhile, they have been asked to review it and resubmit for onward action.

....sometimes government is not the problem the same civil servants are.....the same issue is what caused Wike not to pay those arears of Feb/March till today....the people at the board inflated the figures....the man even signed those checks and asked them back....now we are here again...I can believe this...

...is this not the Height of insensitivity we all go to the same market, pay the same rent, fees etc and yet there are discrepancies in payment schedules....I just pray he(SIM) don't generalise like they always do and say his promoted all civil servants and paid accordingly.......

I just heard from a retired civil servant, that level 12 take home is not UpTo 100k after deductions. Pls who has heard or seen a different figure?

not true....this one is one of those promoted to level 12 but not implemented....a colleague of mine on level 10 step 10 takes home almost 110 thousand so what are we not saying

ok thanks for sharing, but one thing is sure, there's no way they will increase the salaries of those who have received their promotion letters without paying others the same. So let's remain positive

....when you got this job....old staffs were still in the same level, earning their old salary when they ought to have implemented their promotions which they've gone for.....I don't want to sound pessimistic....but Nigeria is a country were workers are cheated to favour the government...thats why we are salaried and not paid wages, the whole thing is fradulent....my dear any day I see new alert I'll be thankful to God....but to put my mind inside and be disappointed no....

SUBSIDY REMOVAL: RSG TO ROLL OUT TRANSPORT PALLIATIVE IN RIVERS STATE

...As Fubara Charges Labour To Embrace Dialogue

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara says modalities are being put in place by the Government to roll out transport palliative to cushion the high cost of transportation caused by the removal of petrol subsidy.

Governor Fubara disclosed this when the State leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) paid him a solidarity visit at Government House Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

Sir Fubara explained that the Ministry of Transport is already being engaged to introduce some buses to help reduce the high cost of transportation currently faced by the people.

The Governor who described the effects of the subsidy removal as temporary, urged workers and Rivers people to exercise patience as relief will come at the end of the day.

The governor said, "Rivers State is one of the states that have implemented the new salary structure, the state is in full practice of the new salary scale, the issue of pension and gratuity are ongoing, the records are there, the issue of employment is also ongoing, we are fulfilling our part of the bargain to take care of the workers".

Governor Fubara also stated that the Rivers State Secretariat Complex is undergoing reformation as challenges of water supply, security, power supply and other essential services are being tackled to enhance the productivity of workers.

Fubara further assured of providing a conducive working environment for both the public and private sectors of the state economy and urged the organised labour to work in synergy with the government to move the state forward.

He hinted that the confrontational approach of the previous leadership of NLC in Rivers State stalled the smooth resolution of issues regarding the welfare of workers, such as promotions, pensions and gratuities, but that is now a thing of the past.

The governor appealed to the leadership of the Union to always embrace peace and dialogue and urged them to be constructive in matters of policy as well as to make the state better.

"It's very important for labour to have a good relationship with any administration, labour can't work in isolation; it's important for the present leadership of NLC in Rivers State to work with our government".

Sir Fubara assured the Union of his collaboration in a bid to move the state forward and promised to look into the request of rehabilitating the Union's office.

Earlier in his address, the Chairperson of NLC in Rivers State, Comrade Alex Agwanwor, who led the delegation on the solidarity visit said the visit was to congratulate the governor and pledge their unflinching support to his administration.

The NLC chairman said the organised labour in Rivers State is proud of the emergence of Fubara, a technocrat and career Civil Servant as Governor of Rivers State.

Agwanwor urged the governor to create a sustainable avenue for labour and government to always discuss issues that will enhance industrial harmony in the state.

He said, "The Rivers State Governor is conversant with challenges of the public service, we want to appeal, that a regular interface be sustained between government and labour to foster industrial harmony and development in Rivers State.

there is a classroom allowance attach to your salary....I knew of this from a former colleague who was transferred to the ministry of education ....he says his a salary has reduced...it depend sha on the ministry and parastal ....finance, Rivers revenue services, judiciary etc may earn more due to extras finance flow

It is the new government that will pay this month salary as the cabinet has been dissolved so it is the new administration with new constituted cabinet that will carry out the payment of salary.

vouchers have been prepared....already and signed....may 29th is month end already....so we have to wait another one month to receive....make Una enlightenment me biko
