Sybellah: what ethnic group in Ghana do u think have the prettiest girls?
thts a tough one to answer, trust me, there are gorgeous women from each and every tribe (AKAN, GA, EWE, DAGBANE etc..) in Ghana.....u don't want me to splash images on here trust me....I love my GH. women, they are really beautiful from all shades of colors.

Akan girls, "my girls", they represent the beauty of the African woman, I luv 'em, hard working, they'v got this fighting spirit (Yaa Asantewa).. - I'm Akan but, surprisingly, I'v dated only 2 Akan girls grin (call me the explorer grin)

Sybellah: I love that song, tho I do not understand it sounds so soft and nice

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPtrgXoYDEw?hl=en_US

Gnanmien=god
Akwaba=welcome
M'co la = Me co da= I am going to sleep
Sika=money
Co fa ma me=bring me smthg
...
just the way we say thing is diffent , also we use some expressions that are old that twi do not use anymore like:

Momo = thank u for example but u use "yebluade" grin i dunno how to spell it
abt the song, its prolly because its a song thts why I'm kinda finding it difficult to make out the words, lmao! "M'CO LA" sounds juz like how we say it "M'KORDA" (am going to sleep)....SIKA is the same, KOR'FA MA'ME (GO PICK IT FOR ME) is also the same grin....AKWAABA same....Gnanmien is pronounced ONYAME in Ghanaian twi....wow! I feel like I cud live in C.I.V wit ease.....I can really relate.....amazing how the words are the same

Sybellah: Let me post some Nzima song

@ Otumfour u r gonna tell us if you understand it to some extent wink
tht wud be difficult, am Ashanti thus, I speak TWI....Nzema language is quite different from the TWI language tho we'r all Akan...

Fante TWI on the other hand is the same as Asante, Brong Ahafo, Akyem, Kwehu,Akuapem etc. except, the Fante language sounds kinda sexy grin (at least thts wht most people say) , kinda like how the British english sounds....so the Asante twi (American english) and the Fante twi (British english)

OKAY SYBELLA, IVORIAN225 & ROYAL, here's a Ghanaian Akan(twi) love song (highlife music we call it) grin hope u like it....enjoy!
