You’re right...to an extent.
Androids that have excellent batteries are not less portable than iPhones. An extra 0.5-1mm thickness won’t make the phone unusable.
If it’s about battery, Samsung learnt from their mistake and created the Galaxy Note 9. A slim enough phone that had a solid battery, a stylus and headphone jack...it didn’t explode.
I like the excuse for the 120Hz. The iPhone 13 will confirm how true that is. But I know for sure that there’s no excuse for why iPhones shouldn’t be using Type-C connectors in this day and age. They have put it on both Mac’s and iPad’s (cause they don’t want to fall short of the competition), but they know that iPhone users don’t care about it anyway, so they hold back on it.
There are Androids that charge at 100W these days. The iPhone 12 charges at around 22W...and even that 22W charger, you have to buy it separately because it doesn’t come in the box. And price remained the same
Apple does the best for their pockets and gives the iPhone users just enough to get by, because they know the fan base will be there come rain or shine.
I will give Apple one thing...they still have the best user experience, even though they fall short of a lot of key features.

To be honest most of this app developers are only angry cause of the iOS 14 update. They can’t track our data as they normally would do. We all know just how easy it is to penetrate an Android device. Be it a Samsung or a tecno they are not just up there security wise when you browse online. In as much as the Android is an open software. No matter what they add or the design to pull out it can’t be safe. Everyone is trying to create there own OS. Don’t be surprised if few years from now Samsung releases it’s own OS.

The iPhone 7 is still a very solid phone, and you can get one with 70k. I only used the X/XR example because notched iPhones are seen as the holy grail of smartphone technology by the average Nigerian.
The average Nigerian may not be able to afford it, but people act like it’s the most expensive thing in the world. Having one equates to being rich in some people’s eyes.


No one is talking of SD card here...even Android guys barely use SD cards these days. And no one is telling you to change either.
You can love your iPhone and still agree that Apple doesn’t always make the best decisions for its users. They make the best decisions for their pockets. My iPad Pro from 2017 has a 120Hz display, same as a lot of Android flagships these days. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro of 2020/2021 doesn’t have it. That’s because they know they have to innovate & update in order to survive against Samsung in the Tablet market. But for iPhones, all they have to do is release a new colour and people will still buy en masse.

iPhone invest massively and design and security and majority of folks uses the iPhone cause of this reasons. Take for instance it was after the iPhone X release that other phones went into full screen display with little or no bezel and then double cameras. In terms of security the iPhone Face ID remains unbreakable have seen several videos over YouTube where android phones the flagship ones are been opened with a 3D face of an individual. In as much as you would weigh the cons the pros are there. The iPhone 7 was released 2016 and is still relevant till today can you say the same for Samsung s6 or a tecno note of 2016?..

What’s all this affordability talk about?

If it was affordable bet we would see a lot of people using it. We iPhone users are not complaining. I don’t see why I should want to change theme when I’m not a baby or use micro sd when there’s always cloud storage at my disposal. The best decision I made several years ago was to port to iPhone and I’m never looking back again.
