I sent my documents to Abuja for someone to help me submit them for authentication, but they refused him saying that I either come myself or send someone bearing the surname as myself. Someone helped my sister with hers three years ago, but they said the system has changed now.

I don't think the ministry of education will accept an online printout, but it seems waec issues statement of result to candidates that do not have access to thier certificates anymore, that should be accepted by the ministry.
A letter from your employer is not mandatory for the study visa application.
You can only send someone that bears same surname with you to do the authentication for you.

Congrats! I believe you have already done the first part of legalisation at the federal ministries of education and foreign affairs Abuja. If yes, the final legalisation and pre-enrollment at the Italian consulate cost me about 35k for a master's program last year.

I made the decision to give ee a try this year. I wrote my ielts test on the 9th of February and these are the scores I saw when I checked online (yet to pick up the hard copy) :
L-8.5, R-9, S-8, W-7
I got all my practice materials just by following some parts of this thread.

I want to get my ECA done within the next two months, is this possible with WES? The universities are ABSU and Uniport.

Please can someone share a contact number for Uniport transcript verification (masters).

You go to www.records.unilag.edu.ng and apply online . Choose courier as a sending medium. It will cost 2k since you are outside Lagos. That's 3k for the letter and 2k for the shipping, making a total of 5k.

No that's not what she is saying. It doesnt matter if 10% or 100% was a gift. The point is that the money should remain in your account till your Visa is issued. Else u risk not having anything to show when they give u 7days to submit a recent statement of account.
