i was expecting non-straightforward email or Interview, but i didnt get any such mail neither was i interviewed.

Biometrics: 26th of July at TLS Ikeja (PRIORITY)

I got collection mail late on Friday (30th July)

Picked up my passport this morning with my visa intact

I have met great people here especially @scobyy2007 who i was calling anyhow even while he was at work. Thanks for all the support, answers to my questions, and information.

Hello everyone, I did my biometrics with TLS Ikeja center last week Friday 23rd of July and I haven't received any collection mail since I did priority which is clearly more than 5 working days, I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this delay from Ikeja because a friend of mine who did on Monday 26th July just received his own collection mail. Is it that Ikeja Tls center is delaying or what's the problem?

track it from the ukvi site. log it tru the ukvi student portal and find your way to TLS.

it will show you the true position if its still with DMC or VAC

Please I did biometrics on the 21st July (priority). Today, 28th is meant to be the 5th working day but no decision or collection mail yet. My TLS app status shows that my application has been transferred to the decision centre. Did my biometrics at TLS Ikeja, assisted service
Please are there cases of delay in the priority service. I plan to send an email to them, is it effective.

Pay the 2k. You can pay more than that tho.

But requires tuition deposit for Nigeria is 2k

Does the bank statement paper have Polaris watermark in it......as in inside the paper you see Polaris bank logo in it....if yes you are good to use it like that ...the embassy already have the contact details for their verification....

They said that’s the way they print theirs. Just on a plain sheet. Has the branch address (no email or phone number) and the customers address then stamp that’s all.

Yea. The statement was stamped but nothing on their letterhead. So I thought getting a reference letter on their letterhead will just support my statement.

As it is now, I will use the statement like that cos I heard UKVI have a way of confirming the statement even when phone or email address of the bank is not on the statement used.

Some banks will state when the account was open in the reference letter..eg zenith , Gtbank etc....use your bank statement like that.... preferably stamped by the bank...mine had two stamps...don't use your own hand to delay your process...be smart....my opinion though..

I did this with Polaris. But the letter has the date I opened the account which was June 9th. Won’t that be an issue?

Like I literally opened the account for the purpose.

Hi all, just a suggestion. Incase you are printing your bank statements, pls ask for a reference letter. It is not compulsory but advisable!

It doesn't matter. The consulate/embassy have they ways of investigating bank statements .

I saw this on gov.uk site now, does this mean I can use the draft statement I print from my online banking ��, it has everything here including the logo of the bank

Because my schedule this week is looking choked, I might not have time to go and queue at bank to print statement.

I noticed you got the collection mail two days after biometrics. Is it possible they must treated your application and just waiting for biometrics given you have applied since and just waiting for biometrics

I went there (Ikeja TLS) to book walk in for tomorrow but they havent started allowing people to write names then

If you have a choice, I will suggest to try VI. Based on my experienceas a family of 3, I could only get a date for self service for one person as there were no available slot. What I did was to choose assisted service and some dates opened up in August. I then went there for a walk in. Wall in crowd yesterday and today is massive. I got there at 6am yesterday but couldn't enter as the slots for walk in was exhausted. I was able to do biometrics today based on the list the porter took yesterday. Those that got there at 3am this morning have not had a chance to enter as at when I left there.

Too much story I guess, but it is just to say...if you have the extra means, please go to VI.

You mean lien? If your account is frozen, a debit can’t pass.

Mine was frozen all through . But the only thing I did was to constantly run the account by crediting and debiting the account virtually everyday with 2 to 3k. This makes the account legit and free of doubt which can prompt interview.

Once you have paid your deposit, request for your CAS on the application portal. It doesn’t take long. Max 1-2 weeks

No POF, No Interview No TB certificate before CAS is issued.

But they will tell you Embassy can call you randomly to do interview. So they advice you do a mock interview with them.( This is optional tho)

I think because I paid priority. I got a closer slot. When my sister was renewing her visit visa, she got 10 days away…. Even after paying for prime time.
