The good thing about Bola Ahmed Tinubu is that nobody disputes his work in Lagos.

We can say it is because it is Lagos, he was a godfather and associated things, but as per his work, even his opponents don't say it is a lie. There is even hardly need to ask people to go and verify.

I consider this a very strong point.

Also, I thought his having people he brought was just a result of his being a godfather as they say it in politics, but then I watched one of his videos where he was really talking specifics and he said "you achieve things through people", and it gave me the idea that he was actually intentional. You add that to his getting Commissioners sometimes from as far as the South East and you think maybe he will actually make a good President.

And honestly I have since noticed his style of leadership and I can sum it up to "create a new system to solve an old problem urgently". While this can duplicate effort and increase spending in my opinion, I notice America does this a lot. There will be immigration service, they will create ICE - a special immigration service. There will be State Policing and there will be FBI for crimes that cut across States. There was CIA and FBI but then came Homeland Security.

My friend educated me on Tinubu's style and how it is actually being used across Nigeria. All of these Management bodies like LASTMA, EDSTMA, and the likes are created despite Ministries that already handle their duties, they are like an immediate intervention and I think that is what Nigeria needs in short term.

We saw this in his famous suggestion to recruit into the Army. If not for legal issues Tinubu would create a new Army to fight Banditry specifically. He wants new people, new structure and new approach for immediate result and I like it. It is a departure from Buhari's style of "allow the person that should be doing this do it" a style that will fail even the President with the best intentions under the Nigerian reality. Tinubu's style appears to be create something new and get urgent results. I am yet to see how he will manage to run this system on a budget that is heavily regulated by others, as this was not the case in Lagos. But if this others are members of his party, perhaps this may not be a problem.

My final prayer is for his health not to get in the way. He is obviously a President in waiting and I hope he performs well.

He wrote: Since the inception of this television station I have not seen a single Muslim Anchoring any program or even casting any news. Does it mean there are no Muslim Journalists? I also noticed every morning the station airs a Bible study program called turning point(which I personally enjoy and learn a lot from ), It also has similar program at exactly 6to7pm before politics today. What Nigerians see is a group of Brilliant news Anchors and reporters who are good at their Jobs, with no sentiments attached to it.

The Chairman of Borno State, Christians Association (CAN), Bishop Mohammed Naga has commended the selection of former governor of the state, Senator Kashim Shettima as the Vice Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 Election.

The selection of Shettima, a Muslim from the North East to run on the presidential ticket of the APC with another Muslim, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu from the South West has been greeted with mixed reactions.

This would be the first time a major party would follow the footstep of Social Democratic Party’s Muslim/Muslim ticket of MKO Abiola/Babagana Kingibe which was the election the 1993 Presidential election that was notoriously annulled by the military.

Bishop Naga, in a statement on Monday said the Christian community in Borno State have never had a better deal than under Shettima who was at the helm in the state between 2011 and 2019.

Naga, who described Shettima as a compassionate leader, said: “My brothers, those who are not from Borno State may not know, but you and I know better. In the history of Borno State, there is no Governor that has been fair to the Christian Community in this State as much as Governor Kashim Shettima. I am saying this in the presence of God Almighty and this is nothing but the truth. Governor Shettima, in the history of Borno, is the only Governor that has sponsored highest number of Christian Pilgrims every year since 2011.

“I am speaking boldly without fear or favour because as CAN Chairman I do not receive salary or kobo from Government or any institution, but the facts need to be told. This Governor has shown compassion to the Christian Community.”

He added that: “For example, when Gwoza people were driven from their ancestral homes, they fled to Maiduguri, and the Governor personally came to CAN Centre in Jerusalem ward two times in June and July 2014. He gave N10 million for their upkeep at first instance, but the victims were not many. By the end of October 2014, the IDPs from Gwoza increased to 42,000 in that camp alone. Governor Shettima came again and gave another N10 million. He also gave additional N5 million for Christians from Borno who fled to Cameroon to be returned home.

“He gave another N5 million for non-indigenes who fled to Cameroon to come back to Nigeria.”

Naga said: “The Governor even directed the Borno State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA to be supplying food directly to the IDPs under the Christian leadership. In fact, the Governor insisted that he wanted Christian IDPs to stay together with their Muslim counterparts in various designated IDP camps here in Maiduguri but we the leaders felt it wise to separate Christian IDP’S to avoid frictions between displaced persons dealing with trauma.”

The clergyman said: “Sincerely speaking as a Christian and a preacher, absolutely I have nothing to fear about Asiwaju’s picking a Muslim as his running mate, because he’s not a religious bigot and I’m happy he has made his mind known to the public in the person of his preferred running mate.

He added that: “Seeing another Presidential candidate applauding him is a plus for him and supporters of Asiwaju.
Congratulations to the awaiting president and vice president.”

Each time I read what people write about peter obi, I sighed.
A lot was said about BUHARI in 2015 to us, he was this.... he was that.... what ends it?
Politicians are not to o be trusted, they are chameleon, never fully trust them.

Peter obi knows where he was going, that's when he keeps his records well, he knows what the future we say if he doesn't keep tides is document.
This is a simple be ideology my brother, but that doesn't make him a good man, is a mind game. Anyone can play it if determined.

I don’t know why those from South-east and South-south where Tinubu did not rule as governor are those that abuse Tinubu most whenever his name is been mentioned. Some of them couldn’t even remember their governors between 1999-2007 again but Tinubu’s name always ring bell in their ears.

Tinubu’s immunity expired in 2007 and PDP left govt in 2015. Tinubu was without immunity for good 8 years under PDP, yet, Obasanjo,Yardua and Jonathan had nothing to rope him in as a criminal. Even Nuhu Ribadu did not probe him under Obasanjo. Three (3) EFCC chairmen (Ribadu, Farida Waziri and Lamorde) couldn’t trace anything incriminating against Tinubu between 2007 — 2015 but you want him probed now. Has he taken any contract from state or federal govt that he has not executed? Has anybody reported him for financial crime? You always refer to Tinubu’s companies as if he had no means of livelihood before becoming governor.

Tinubu was an Executive Director/board member of Mobil Oil Producing before he joined politics. Obasanjo and Atiku established private universities as sitting President and Vice President. Obasanjo established Presidential Library as a sitting President. Atiku sold shares of companies to himself as VP and Chairman of Privatisation Council. Peter Obi took state money to support family business as Governor of Anambra. Yet, these people are your heroes. When other former governors were busy shipping their states resources abroad & developing foreign economies, Tinubu was busy establishing his businesses in Nigeria. Those companies are employing several hundreds of bread winners in Nigeria.

He met Lagos IGR at about N600m per month and he left it at N12 – 14bn per month. When Obasanjo seized Lagos allocations despite Supreme Court judgement against Obasanjo, Tinubu was paying salaries and pensions regularly for three and half years that it lasted. It was Yardua that paid the allocation to Fasola’s govt. Tinubu used his initiative to create LASTMA and Obasanjo in his copy cat attitude moved ahead to create FERMA.

Those of you that always criticise Tinubu because of envious hate, when will you start criticising Ikpeazu who has not been paying salaries and pensions Abia with no single project to show in Abia. Why did you not say Tinubu was corrupt in 2011 when he supported Goodluck Jonathan? Did He not win Jonathan govt at code of conduct tribunal when he was charged? Tinubu this and Tinubu that as if he is your Governor or President. If you are abusing Tinubu because he is sponsoring APC, Is Atiku not using money to sponsor PDP and his Presidential project? Where is he also getting the money from? Where did he get all the dollars he spent during APC Presidential primary in 2014 and PDP presidential primary of 2018?

Tinubu is no longer a Governor and neither is he the President but he is your problem. When Tinubu was busy building his political structures since 2003 after PDP rigging in south-west, Where were you? When he gave Atiku his party to use for his Presidential project in 2006/2007, where were you? When he was busy building bridges across 6 geo political zones, where were you? In 2015, you all mocked when Ahmed Lawan and Gbajabiamila lost out the leadership of national assembly to Saraki and Dogara. He was not disturbed. He moved on till he was successful in 2019.

When he was bringing up Babachir Lawal and Boss Mustapha (former and current SGF) in ACN, where were you? When he was doing these, Bode George was calling him a local champion but now the local champion in his tenacity has built a national ruling party, you are envious. Tell us your governor that performed better than Tinubu. Your Peter Obi couldn’t build APGA in South-east. Instead, he defected to PDP to kill APGA.

Let Tinubu Be! He is not your problem!! Your past & present governors are your problem!!!
