HealthRe: 5 Important Reasons Why You Should Vaccinate Your Child Today by Outreachms(op): 10:22am On Jul 17, 2019

Good one OP keep it up.....this is a FP Material
You're welcome
Health5 Important Reasons Why You Should Vaccinate Your Child Today by Outreachms(op):
A simple vaccine can protect you and your family from all sorts of preventable diseases ranging from

- Hepatitis.
- Tetanus.
- Chicken Pox.
- Yellow Fever.
- Tuberculosis

among others

1:- Immunization give you and your kids the best start to a healthy life and future.
Vaccines have reduced and in some cases eliminated completely some diseases that posed threat few generations ago with smallpox and polio in Nigeria been major examples of how effective vaccines can be in fighting preventable diseases.

But we still have pockets of issues with polio in some parts of the north and measles in Nigeria with as much as 6000 new cases and over 15 fatalities reported by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control at the beginning of 2019 alone the reason why we all should embrace vaccines..

2:- Immunization saves life.
immunization is simply the best and most effective way to protect yourself and child from serious diseases. To understand how immunization saves life, I think we need to revisit history.

The first true vaccine discovered was the smallpox vaccine. Smallpox was a deadly illness a century ago. It killed 300 million to 500 million people around the world in the 20th century alone until Edward Jenner among others came up with smallpox vaccine in 1796 and right now small pox does not exist all over the world.

As recently as 2012 Nigeria was Africa’s only remaining polio-endemic country, and the number of confirmed new wild poliovirus cases was increasing but all these has now been reduced through combined efforts of different stakeholders in the health industry.

3: - Vaccines are Safe and Effective.
Vaccines today are the safest they’ve even been. Despite some drawbacks and stories that are abundantly available on the internet about various issues with vaccines, they remain the best protection our children have against preventable diseases like diphtheria, Haemophilus influenzae serotype b infection, hepatitis B, measles, meningitis, mumps, pertussis, poliomyelitis, rubella, tetanus, tuberculosis among others.

4: - Immunization protects the community and the people we love.
Vaccination programs do not just directly benefit the immunized child but also indirectly benefit unimmunized persons through community (“herd”) immunity.

When a large percentage of a community is immune to a certain disease, it can reduce disease transmission and protect any individuals who cannot protect themselves.

5: - Immunization protects the community and the people we love.
Imagine the scenario and the cost of emergency doctor’s visits, hospitalization, denied attendance to school, having to miss work and schedules due to running around with your sick child and premature death all because of diseases that could have been taken care of through timely vaccinations?

All of the above and more are the reasons why you should ensure that your kids follow through on all required and scheduled vaccines for them.

It’s for their today, tomorrow and the future.

The question now is: Are your kids keeping to their Immunization schedule?

I'm sorry to differ from YOU......The name of Jesus can Kill.....BE IT SPIRIT OR AGENTS OF DARKNESS IN FLESH AND BLOOD......And when people like MFM prays and say something like "The troubler of my Isreal DIE BY FIRE" .....They are not attacking any human but the spirits/demons/powers and principalities using such humans to cause havoc.....

And we know also that spirits don't DIE.....so when they say they should die, it simply means that they lose their potency and become useless....

So The Name of Lord can both SAVE and KILL.......

The bottomline is that I was looking for veritable information and the man has provided one for me.

This is not far fetched based on the environment and the people the domestic staffs will work for.
Glad you found that information useful and it can serve other purposes not just for your aunt, the organization itself can decide to send their Kitchen staffs plus other staffs for Medical screening there as the cost is quite cheap cheap and cheap ( between 3 - 4k ).

If you need further help on that please call this number: 08024327713 OR chat us up on whatsapp on this one: +234 8183803643

Bro you don't have to sound this way, I'm not saying we will leave all that to an agency, but just that we expect an agency to have done some works of their own in addition to whatever else we might add to it.
While I may not know of domestic staffs or maids recruitment agencies in Lagos ( I guess you guys live in Lagos ), but we do have domestic staff's screening options for both households and public institutions.....Read the details here: https://outreachgroup.com.ng/domestic-staff-screening/

- With the above, you can get your maids / househelps / nannies and those that handle foods in hotels/restaurants, etc screen at regular intervals for

FBC
Widal
Urinalysis
Hepatitis B
TB – Mantoux
HIV
Vitals (weight, height, BP, temp & BMI)

As i said, you can get all the details here: https://outreachgroup.com.ng/domestic-staff-screening/

Hope this helps you to an extent on this, you now know where to get your staff's screened, hopefully, you will get another help on the recruitment proper

HealthWorld Immunization Week 24th - 30th Of April 2019 by Outreachms(op): 11:28am On Apr 24, 2019
Last week of April ( 24th - 30th of April 2019 ) every year is set aside by the world health body to mark World Immunization Week

According to the information available at the WHO website, The whole exercise is aimed at promoting the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease.

The theme this year is Protected Together: #VaccinesWork! The main goal of the campaign is to raise awareness about the critical importance of full immunization throughout life and not just a one-off thing or something meant for kids and children only.

VAST PROGRESS BUT FRAGILE GAINS
-
In 2017, the number of children immunized – 116.2 million – was the highest ever reported. Since 2010, 113 countries have introduced new vaccines, and more than 20 million additional children have been vaccinated.

But despite gains, all of the targets for disease elimination—including measles, rubella, and maternal and neonatal tetanus—are behind schedule, and over the last two years, the world has seen multiple outbreaks of measles, diphtheria and various other vaccine-preventable diseases. Most of the children missing out are those living in the poorest, marginalized and conflict-affected communities.

Preventive medicine is the future and immunization is at the core of it all. It saves millions of lives every year and is widely recognized as one of the world’s most successful and cost-effective health interventions.

7 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD IMMUNIZE YOURSELF AND FAMILY TODAY
-

1] - Immunization is the most effective way of protecting children from dangerous diseases.

2] - It not only protects them, but it protects the broader society by minimizing the spread of diseases especially during outbreaks.

3] - It protects future generations: Vaccines have reduced and, in some cases, eliminated many diseases that killed or severely disabled people a few generations ago.

4] - It Keeps You Healthy: Like eating healthy foods, exercising, and getting regular check-ups, vaccines play a vital role in keeping you healthy. That’s why it’s recommended for both adults and kids to vaccinate throughout one’s life as it is the most convenient and effective preventive care measure available.

5] - Best protection is gotten from immunization when it’s done at the recommended times. Our experts ensure you keep to immunization schedules assigned for your kids

6] - Expanding access to immunization is vital for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, poverty reduction and universal health coverage.

7]- Immunization is also a fundamental strategy in achieving other health priorities, from controlling viral hepatitis to curbing antimicrobial resistance, and providing a platform for adolescent health and improving antenatal and newborn care.

You can vaccinate yourself and family at various health centres and private hospitals where this is done around you.
