MikeCZAR:unfortunately your response to my post strongly advocates for advanced urban warfare training for African forces. 1.Was there urban fighting between rebel forces and the AU backed forces at all in Somalia? 2. Would a force with poor experience in urban warfare perform well in such theatres as Koduga, Bama, Kidal, Kismayo, Gao, 3.was there instances of urban warfare in Mali?(the battle for Kidal? The fighting in Gao with heavy casualties Do they ring any bell at all or picking on Agaugust is now the new past time?) 4.are African forces seeking for training on urban warfare from foreign experts? So since we know all this why all the argument? Pics 1 Malian forces undergoing urban warfare training during the Malian war. Pics 2 stock of weapons seized from heavy fighting in Konduga. Pics 3 Heavy technical seized from the battle of Konduga.

MikeCZAR:but don't you think what you ve just said is total BS? The Nigerian Army have rapid response units not one. They have held their own against the worst terror crisis that any country have ever seen and I am not talking about African countries alone. The Nigerian Army remains a strong force to reckon with in the international war against terror. The theatre of modern conflicts is fast shifting from the deserts, jungles and forest into cities and urban areas. The modern conflict map is changing and the rest of Africa will have to act like they know that cus we in Nigeria we know that. The battle for Aleppo 2012- still ongoing is one of the largest battle the modern world have seen and it was fought right inside the city of Aleppo. We saw the battle for Tripoli, we saw the battle for Bama we saw the battle for Kismayo And the Kurds just took over Sinjar, so it is very reasonable for Africans to criticize any Modern African Mil exercise that does not reflect this realities. |
naijaking1:who told you they are not coming to Kano or Sokoto. |
NairaMinted:they have got no honour whatsoever. They will mock the dead. |

Are you selling them leather, cotton for free Oga ABEG don't infect anybody with this your low self esteem syndrome. Typical African inferiority syndrome. " Oyibo gave me technology if Oyibo did not give me technology I will die. As if it is for free. Or as if they also do not need your raw materials. It's go and worship Oyibo man because you have android phone. Ode |

Idrismusty97:amidst threat from the NATO anti terror coalition Russia just have to protect her Air Assets in Syrian bases. It is not even reasonable strategical to have a airbase without air defense. |

menabadoo:that particular area in the NE have a very beautiful climate, good rainfall and vegetation, you really need to read more about your country and travel more. |
Some people enjoy causing trouble Threatening to tear up the nation, starting up rebellious revolutions but they start crying when they are not called up to build the nation they are threatening to destroy. Nigeria can only be great United. The whole idea of Biafra should be banned. It is the same idea that have destroyed life and properties of fellow Nationals. So I think it's high time we ban that idea. Yakubu Gowon made the mistake of not prosecuting most of the then Biafran Generals for war crime. Ojukwu was comfortable enough to leave his people to die in their number while promising them Biafra. Losing the war the Coward flew out of the country as fast as he could not even bothering to honour the dead heroes that fought with him. That is what happens when you let one man determine the future of a group of people. And once again we are going down that lane. I have seen a lot of well to do Igbo people all over Nigeria with investment and family relationships that cross across ethnic groups. Then I have watched the people protesting for Biafra and I realise this are just young never do well touts that have little to call their own. They know they have nothing to lose so they are starting up a rebellion that will affect those that have everything to lose. Wasn't that the case of the old Biafra struggle? Ojukwu had nothing to lose from the war so he started it and after millions of his people have lost their lives he ran away, talk about cowardice. |
daddynasa:nice. You dey close to me. I need a developer close to uniben to work with me on a certain project. I am also a web developer. |
iblawi:you have no idea how proud I am of my country. I have paid a visit to almost all the national natural attractions I know about(if you are kind enough to check my dp you ll see me at the Ikogosi warm spring. The problem is overtime Nigeria have left it patriots with little to be proud of. The only real thing we have to be proud of is a Beautiful history, Beautiful culture and a "strong Union". As per development, it is just so unfortunate but we seem to be going nowhere, we are running round in circles and I keep repeating that we have some of the most unpatriotic treacherous elements at the helm of affairs. We have men that are very ready to take advantage of any little position they have to steal from the nation. there are many unmentionable atrocities been perpetrated at the expense of this country that I can no longer afford to be too hopeful. We will get there I know but for now let us not deceive ourselves. |
craziebone:Oga which Aerotropolis are they building? The Airport are being remodelled. And apart from that South Africa have always played host to International conferences on Aerotropolis so they didn't copy us so far so good we have shown that we have nothing worth copying in any sector apart from Nafdac,Inec and a few sector that have selflessly served the Nigerian people overtime. I do hope the present administration changes that. |
lezz:lol so people protest for lack of water? Where I come from we build our own privAte tap water system. |
bidexiii:lol Oga Bidexii shey Na me you dey call sick abi? Well I know about the iron dome system and I know it's success to failure ratio as calculated with data from the Palestinian Israeli crisis. All I was trying to say however in a funny way was that the Nigerian Military planners should start thinking innovatively you see a simple piece of defense technology the next thing you should be thinking about should be how does this thing work how can we replicate it is how do we benefit from locally producing this things. Up until today the only prototype we ve seen of Farawa is its landing gear imagine that. The tech institutes are complaining of poor funding, medical institutes are complaining of poor funding, tertiary institutions are complaining of poor funding but we know the Institutions and GO's that will never complain of poor funding. When are we going to sit down and think defense. We do not produce tactical textile materials, we do not produce magazines for Rifles, we cannot produce shoes for our Military men, they move around carrying multi colored school bags like primary school children, we cannot even afford to operate a standard armed forces. Omo the thing tire me Na Im make me speak in pidgin. |
bidexiii:ok which rocket the thing dey use? And you sure say our boys no go fit try build something like that? Even though e nor fine or e nor gree shoot rocket make them just try after all practice makes perfect. Me just dey try build my own Intercontinental Balistik Mizzile with kpangolo for backyard.
