For all those who is making mouth about China, your great great grantchildren will never live to see China take over from USA. Even if China do, then get ready to move back to your ghetto in Nigeria because China will not allow people to go to their country and have all the freedom everyone is having today in USA. China will never have a DV lottery visa for anybody like the USA. A country that already have one child policy will never accept flow of immigrants like USA do. USA is the reason China is moving on with economically because USA citizens buys things from China more than combined the rest of the world together. Lets put it this way. If USA goes down, the rest of the world will follow and example is the recession that we just when through.
USA is great because they take care of their. China do not give a shit about their own people not talk of others. If Nigeria should have public welfare today, the whole systems will be corrupt because all 200 million plus Nigerian including the governments, the dead and living, and including Nigerians that lived in abroad will apply for public assistant.
For those who said that people work hard to make a living in USA; so they should sit down like the lazy people in Nigeria who doesn't want to do anything but to Wait for presidents who suppose to be planning for their burial ground site to come and continue looting.
Hard work is what make a country and good living. Pay check to pay check is 100 times better than graduating and no job until you go to your grave or manager to travel out. Put USA dollar, UK pounds, EU currency and China Yuan on the street of Nigeria, and let the public choose currency and the country they will prefer to be. USA will top the chart.
I do not want to meassure anybody but those that talk shit about USA, why are you still in USA instead of China or Nigeria you are praying for. You mates are suffering in Nigeria and China while you hide on one save heaven in USA city and still making mouth. |

oyb: don't mind them vperise, not everyone has bought into dora's rebranding bs - (trying to pass off sheet as cheese)
your friend would have seen it all for herself if she came to nigeria - right from the airport
the same people chastising you start crying foul when foreign news agencies report bad things going on in nigeria -
whining about how the western media is out to get us
you could have burnished it up though - the flip side is that nigeria is so poorly regulated that it is easy to get rich (especially if you're the unscrupulous type) , and if you're rich enough, you can GET AWAY WITH LITERALLY ANYTHING.
anyway, foreign nationals have access to tv - they don't really need you to lie to them. I support you on this. |

buzugee: iyke-d, your colo-mentality has blinded you to the reality of things. nigerian education is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than american education. i attended schools in america and naija and let me tell you, the number of illiterate americans i met in school was baffling. these are adults who went to all the primary and secondary american education yet they couldnt spell well, read well, or do simple basic arithmetic. so i sat down with a few of them to try to find out whats going on. the consensus i got was that the american education system has failed all of them. their education is crap. i went to a boarding school in nigeria. by the time we were in our second year we were all experts in spelling and mathematics. please dont be blinded by your colo-mentality
as per the xpats ? the perks are not so great. the perks only attracts the lowlifes amongst them. free accommodation ? thats hardly breaking the bank. i wouldnt leave my country for another country for the same salary just because of perks. if i am earning 50 grand in naija my country, the only way i am leaving for a different country is if you offer me 100 grand. na perks i wan chop ?
as per universities in naija, you do know that there are tonnes of private universitys in naija ?
as per medical care, naija has good medical care. you just have to know where to go. you have to be resourceful to live in naija. get the information you need yourself. off the top of my head i can name 10 world class hospitals in naija. they have it all, spirometry machines, ekg machines, holter monitors, echocardiography machines, x-rays, etc etc. you guys have the typical naija mindset. you want to be spoonfed. go out and do your own research. buzugee: looky here, i am not here to impress anyone with my command of the lingo and as such i let any typos slide so long as you get the point i am trying to get across. its tiring trying to correct my typos before i send. it negates the spontaneity of my posts This is exactly what most people are talking about. Buzugee is an example of who full of it. If Nigeria have the best education system, why can't they use their brain to develop the country, why don't the useless leaders stop shipping their children to abroad to study, and by the way, why did u go to America or England to study instead of Nigeria? You know top ten hospitals in Nigeria right? then you should have referre Yara'du to one of those hospital and he might still be alive. Respect to the dead. Please don't get me started. |

suedoh2006: Look no matter what you do, is only God that can change the situation of Nigeria. Look we are in the last dayz and no one can change prophecy. I left Nigeria with nothing and now people are saying invest in home when i did not gain nothing from. I'm been real, most people left Nigeria because of the lack of opportunity and if there has been opportunity i don't think i will be here today. But so far, i'm here and decide to give back to where i reap from. let those who stole our money start by been a good example then the rest will follow suit. No offence, life is the same everywhere, you can live better that those of us here but the fact is people from the west can complain about tax but they don't beg for food. There's always food and if not the gov't have programme for that. Good thought. If we have the opportunity as we have where we are now, no-one will live Nigeria except to go to overseas for vacations. I am one hundred support you the place I bold. Let those who ruin the country take a step first. |

But you did mention in your post that they 'found out that you were Americans' so im guessing you're no longer a Nigerian then.
It's very easy for one to contradict themselves. Yes, they found out that we where Americans. But in which country in the world a police officers will open their dirty mouth and say you went to sleep with your sisters because they saw three men and three girls in the car. Do know how foolishness that is, or what kind of police will say I will shot you. For what. Don't you heard of 40 people that died between Ibadan and Lagos all because of road block useless police made. Where in the world have you seen road blocks in an expressways. Tell me of your location as a matterfact because I do not trust you. Go and join your corrupt leaders. |

Do you want me to tell you stories of others, not so unlucky: people who left good jobs in the west to come and try to settle down in Nigeria but returned after years of misery . . or I should refer you to some that are dead?? I am sure you have heard of them but choose to ignore it.
Whatever works for you and floats your boat but dont come here and start bashing others because you were lucky or got the hook up.
And must we always bring Ghana into this? I am getting tired o!!
Like someone rightly said, this thread is for people to share their concerns. Please ignore the fool. I also known so many people thought they will succeed in Nigeria but today, they now calling for money just to buy food alone. This are people that where doing well in their prospective field in NYC only to go to Nigeria to join the suffering people. May of 2009 I went to Nigeria, my family especially my sisters made promise never to travel to Nigeria years to come due the accidents that happened between Lagos and Benin City and arm robbers that attacked us on two different locations in oneday. Come and see death bodies everywhere. As for Nigerian police, they will go to hell. Can u imaging a police offices telling a six family members that we went to fucckk in a hotel. Because they saw three men and three girls in the car, they said when went to fucckk our own sisters. They held for no reason. Immediately they found out that we where Americans, they demand dollars not Naira. They threaten to shot us.Because of the delay, we had to say in Warri because it was too late to get to where we supposed to go |

Nigeria as a team is no good period. There where so many teams that played with ten men and still win or tied. Kaita have nothing do with our early exit though I am not in support of his action. I think is time Africa players start looking for clubs in South America instead of Europe. South America countries top their group and one of them will win the WC. Spain is nothing to write home about and they have prove it like England. European soccer kill player and Chelsae is cursed to player.
Infact EUROPEAN SOCCER is a curse to AFRICA PLAYERS and each team representing Africa just prove it right. |

I thank god I didn't spend my money to go to SA for vacation. Their is no need for foreign players because the one at home are better than so called overseas and experience players. This thing really pain me. Most people in Africa will never wake up from the shock they are experiencing from the so called our best player. I bet some of the player that each coach dropped are luaghing their lungs out. Is really a shame. Experience has nothing to do with soccer. Either u are good or not and they proved it. davidif: BOY, FOR THOSE OF US WHO WATCHED THE US-ALGERIA MATCH IN THE US, THE COMMENTARY WAS AWFUL, ABSOLUTELY AWFUL.
