elyte89: That’s one thing I like about chelles team,we create enuf chances to bury a match unlike before when it’s only osimhen or lookman dt will labour so hard to grind out dt result..what chelle needs to do now is to work very well on d defence, and we re good to go He says regularly that his philosophy will be adapted to suit the team. I believe we should adopt the team press for about 70 minutes or so, then switch to ultra-defending with counterattack strategy as we did with Peseiro's AFCON team. |

Nigeria will not qualify for the 2026 world cup. It is impossible not mathematically at least. So many things need to go right to stand a remote chance. |

It is a collective attitude problem. Pound for pound are Rwanda player better than the Nigerian players? Nigeria was in the lead, on the counter decision making was an issue when they had chances to make it 2-0. Players wanted to go for glory instead of a simple cross. Then set pieces, no one in defense even bothers to track the ball. |

mamaafrik: Engineering wise the Rail track should be built not at the middle of the road but at either of the sides. Accident from Automobiles or that of train will be very fatal if the track is laid at the middle. There would be a median and it would be elevated. |

ChrisKels: I was one of those who called for Ndidi and Onyedika to be partnered by in all honesty, I was disappointed with the outcome. They seemed not to have defined roles. Who was the DM and who was the CM in that match? There was no synergy between the two You can't play midfielders with no ball skills and expect magic. Ghana and Mali's midfielders are miles ahead of ours. |

Cape verde vs South Africa is like a boxing match. Both teams take turns in pressing each other. If you want to see beautiful football with no end product this is the game for you. Nigeria should comfortably dispatch any of the teams. |

Mujtahida: I'm not good with predictions and using my guts to tell the outcome of a match.
But I can tell if SE will win a match within the context of our play. As in from the way we play, I can tell if we will win or not. Like from the blast of the whistle and the way we hustled every ball in the match against Cameroun I knew we'd win. Even when Semi's goal was canceled, I told the guy I was watching the match with, that naija will still score.
And my logic is simple: if we play well, we win. Of course sometimes we play well and lose and sometimes we play badly and win but generally the best play wins Yeah, usually from the first 10-15mins of a game you can tell who the better team is baring any twists and turns in the game. |

Curtisaxel10: Please let Peseiro change his formation. The 4-3-3 is much more balanced and productive in terms of chances created.
If he must go with three at the back, let him play 3-5-2 with Iwobi at AM and Osimhen and a strike partner in front. The 3-4-3 leaves a wide gaping hole in the center of our midfield which Guinea Bissau exploited at the beginning of the last match to dominate possession.
We cannot afford to abandon possession to a team that actually knows what to do with the ball. Ire o! It is easier to defend with 5-4-1 than with 5-3-2 |

Tolulopefinest: I've watched almost all the AFCON MATCHES.
What I noticed is that NIGERIA MATCHES ARE ALWAYS BORING.
I dropped my phone at a point when watching yesterday.
Unlike today's matches (Gambia Vs Cameroon, Algeria Vs Mauritania) that are super interesting. Boring but effective. The system Nigeria are playing now will roll over any of these teams. |
