You guys would have to create another thread for this Africa challenge and include other African countries. When you say 2019 do you mean projects completed in this year only? Some countries will cry..lol..

PoliticsRe: What Fashola Actually Said About Roads In Nigeria (video) by owbabs: 2:37pm On Nov 08, 2019
Does this guy not understand that an unmotorable portion of a good road makes the road bad. In big cities these are a major cause of traffic.

See proper roads in the pics below.

Notice how they all have LANE MARKINGS plus no potholes. Just video game type roads.

I wonder why roads like these are hard to build in Nigeria?

Why? Why? Why?
This is what I don't understand about Nigeria... And narrow roads create bottle necks. Imagine calling a 2 lane road an expressway.
The pic you have up there is what Lagos Badagry expressway should be, but I see the design and I weep. Nigerians don't understand the meaning of free traffic flow.

PoliticsRe: Ambode 800 Buses Vs. Sanwo-Olu 800 Buses (PHOTOS) by owbabs: 4:30pm On Oct 23, 2019
Lagos road network is like a person suffering from narrowed arteries. For smoother flow of traffic we need to start by expanding every single road/street and clearing off street traders. Introduce sidewalks with land scaping and bring order and sanity to transport. The we can have bus stops and separated shoulders for the BRTS. These are just a start.

Naija dey form big boy. We go see

Samueltemi337:
Football agent to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) took the federation’s friendly request for a game against Germany in partial fulfillment of the body’s quest for Grade A friendly games during the monthly FIFA-free windows for such an exercise.
Nigeria and Germany friendly
NFF will continue to push for a friendly against the German machine
Sportinglife.ng gathered exclusively that the Germany FA politely turned down the request stating that the Germans were busy with participating in the Euro qualifiers, having beaten Estonia 3-0 on Sunday in an away fixture.
Interestingly, the NFF scout is favourably disposed towards having the Super Eagles test their might against the German machine, having drawn Ukraine 2-2 and Brazil also on Sunday 1-1 in Singapore.
Meanwhile, former Super Falcons’ coach Thomas Dennerby has revealed that his ex-employers Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are not owing him a dime either as salaries or outlays arising from the contractual agreement between both parties.
In an email written by Henner Jazen, Dennerby’s lawyer with the subject matter: ‘Salary Thomas Dennerby’ and addressed to Amaju Pinnick dated 12 October 2019 stated that:” I herewith confirm that Thomas Dennerby has gratefully received all outstanding salaries and outlays.
He is very thankful and will send you a personal note in the upcoming days.
”The only remaining request will be if my client will participate in the bonus system for WC 2019.
We don’t even know if NFF has already received that. Kind regards. Henner Janzen Rechtsanwalt.”

Roads always go bad. Maintenance is key. Problem is that people think build it once and we are good. You will spend more money on maintenance than the construction. Developed countries have put road maintenance on autopilot. This country has a long to go.
