Most people speaking against abortion will support a family member to get one if she was raped by armed robbers or maybe raped as part of a ritual, most will ask their wife to get an abortion if tests could show that the child in her womb will be an slowpoke or would be born with one major deformity or another.
Before you come here to say abortion should be illegal first make sure you are the woman that will be carrying the child for 9 months and make sure you will never get an abortion no mattet the circumstance.
I do not support fucking around and getting an abortion each time you get pregnant but i will not support a law that prevents a woman or in some cases an underage girl that has been raped from getting rid of something she feel will keep reminding her of the ugly incident and therefore forcing her to raise a child she might actually hate.
Some of us only practice self righteousness and obey God's commandments when they suit us but very good at throwing stones like the fools Jesus chided for trying to stone a woman for the sin of adultery

There are proven medical instances when the foetus you referred to may pose a big threat to the life of the mother or both them, example when the mother is too young to safely deliver the baby, in that situation abortion is helpful.
Another instance is when a lady gets raped by some men at random and she eventually gets pregnant, did you think keeping such pregnancy is of any use?
