kazman7:It depends on d location, whether its rural or urban. If its rural, buy some TV's/bags of rice+ gallon of veg oil, dash them 2 the following people, king/tradi ruler, 3 youth leaders. Then buy 2 buckets of paint & paint d village school. Then call a town meeting where you'll tell them u wanna contest. Then distribute N5000 in N20 notes to those in attendance. One month 2 d election, begin 2 transfer N200 every 3 days to king/tradi ruler, 3 youth leaders & other influencial people. No forget sacrifice goat 4 village shirne. If u do these 2 letter, the people u dash things will think u'll "share" wit them when u're in "power" so they'll ORDER the villagers to vote for you. Even before INEC set foot 4 d place, u don win |

$sings$- "you can't marry someone who, that is every way like you. If you are a goodu goodu, you go marry badi bad!" let me ask you guys and babes- why do mommies and daddies always quarrel at home? Its coz one is honest and the other is corrupt. You can't be good and still marry good. If you're good, you marry bad and vice versa. So for me i'm a good guy, so when i wanna marry, i'm gonna turn to a bad guy so i can marry a good girl. That makes plenty sense |
Fiscabally:Hausa girls are RESERVERED? That means they're also conservative, and boring to be with. Oh dear, conservative girls make my stomach sour. Once you marry one, you'll take care of her to the grave. To make things worse, they can't motivate a to attain his peak. ![]() |
Ejee/otofe 2 all my ukwuani/ndokwa brethren here. I'm from Ezionum, ukwuani LGA, delta state. ![]() |
abadaba:I didn't use the name ojukwu pickin without reason. I know it is very insulting. Its the same when you point finger and call an ika, ikwerre, ukwuani person igbo AGAINST HIS WISH to be addressed as ika, ikwerre, ukwuani. Its very insulting to them. If they want to answer igbo, eh. If they don't want to answer igbo, ki lo kan e? What is your business? How does that becomes a headache to you? If a ika man wants to be addressed as ika, leave him alone. Don't insult him by calling him igbo ![]() |
![]() 006:I never said ika is not a part of anioma. They are. I'm just trying to say ika and other igbo speaking groups have been apart from the main igbo for a long time, at least, 3 centuries, too long for them to hold on to igbo identity due to several reasons such as mixin with other groups i.e ika + benin, geography location, micro politics, etc. So they create new identities for themselves. That's why we have many splinter igbo groups that deny they are igbo. So if an ika, ukwuani, ikwerre man wants to hold on to igbo I.D, o.k. But if they want to be addressed as ika, ukwuani, etc, leave them alone. Its not by force to answer igbo |
Sorry for my silence. I'v been so busy all day. asha 80:I don't speak igbo language (ukwuani dialet) but my raw interpretation is- amari/ananu ife ine ku ![]() |
^^You have some benin blood in you and never reach benin, that doesn't speak well for you na. As for lagos, i don't like the place. Too much madness. In january 2008 after spending the exmas wit my folks @ abeokuta, my pop said i'm getting spoilt coz i don't use public transport so he had a relation bundle me off to ojota to take those transport lines to obiaruku, delta state. When we got to ojota, the touts nearly tore my shirt screaming onisha! Onisha!! I said its obiaruku i'm going and not onitsha. One cool guy said they're going there so i boarded the bus. When we got to agbor, rather than take another route to my location, the bus continued going towards asaba. I became suspicious & asked a fellow passenger @ our destination. She replied onitsha! I disembarked at asaba where i slept at a motor park coz it was late and my wallet was not too fat for hotel. I couldn't sleep 4 fear of ritualists. & it was at lagos d whole drama started. ![]() |
abadaba: the guy's ranting de make me laugh. First, HE ANSWERED A QUESTION WITH A QUESTION, then he bleated some indecipherabilities like a drunken keggite. And the question you asked about oduduwa is total rubbish. You guys are saying that ika are igbo because some ika ancestors are igbo (ika is mixture of benin and igbo). So maybe in your oduduwa question above, you meant to say since the ancestor of the Yoruba came from mecca, then Yoruba people are arab. What you eastern igbo on this thread are doing is- you point finger at a ika man and say since your ancestors are igbo, then you are igbo. Now if an arab man similarly point finger at a Yoruba man and say since your ancestor oduduwa is from mecca, then you are arab, will the Yoruba man agree he is arab? Abeg answer the question i posted earlier in plain sensible english instead of replying with 10th century history juxtaposed with foul slangs ![]() |
^^^ O o. Mama benin, ba wo l'e wa? Alright, if you don't know delta, lets talk benin. Benin soil terrible o. I went for UNIBEN post jamb in 2007 dressed all white so my cousin who took me there could easilly spot me out. I returned late in the afternoon to my uncle's house around ADOLOR college junction looking like a red painted statue. ![]() |

I NEED you ojukwu pickins to ANSWER this QUESTION: Chidi's father is from agbor, delta state but mother is Bini. If you tell chidi that he is igbo because he bears igbo name and his father is from agbor, 1. WILL CHIDI AGREE THAT HE IS IGBO? AND 2. WHAT IS THE PROBABILITY HE WILL AGREE THAT HE IS IGBO? ![]() |
Idowuogbo:Ogaga and i are on topic na. We are both from delta state and talking about the state's development. Abi u just expect us to say i'm from delta and walka commot? Oti o. On invitation, this place is as open as your warm, friendly motherly arms. By the way where are you from? Hope ya from delta state too coz i've never met a delta Yoruba. Cheers. ![]() |
spicyhoney:i'm not saying they're all the same but the behaviour/attitude of people from a tribe are similar but values such as hygine, inspiration, beliefs, etc are different based on the individual's upbringing and environment. Fiscabally:What's so special about hausa girls? ![]() |

The guys that pastor chris gave 'nothing' to "take" are not ordinary church members. They are cell leaders who know what to do when pastor chris "gives" them anything- faintly fall on the floor. They don't feel anything. If pastor chris blows on you, even if you don't feel anything, fall. If you don't fall, that means you don't have faith. Faith is now defined as falling to the ground whenever pastor blows air at you or touch you. And who wants to be accused of being faithless or still living in sin in front of thousands of people? So they all fall I'm telling you the truth coz i'm a former christ embassy member |
spicyhoney:It does o. For example, if you are a igbo man married to a Yoruba woman and the Yoruba woman is slow to acting in urgent situations, or she is uninspiring while you being igbo is very ambitious, it would be a case of a horse and a donkey being unequally yoked and that could cause problem for the marriage. Similarly, if you are a Yoruba man married to- lets say an igbo girl from enugu and you give the enugu wife N30,000 house keeping allowance, she'll most likely fling the money at the man coz in enugu, N30,000 can hardly carry one for 2 weeks. Trust Yoruba people, the man will start saying his igbo wife like money too much, she wants to "dry" him, she's too expensive, etc. If the man's people now enter the case, plenty wahala go shele ![]() |
I just wonder why most people here can't think deeply. What if the condom is used as a set up or to blackmail by some wicked jezebel? For example, a girl asks a guy for N20,000 for shopping. The guy refused to give her coz he has other pressing commitments. The girl come angry, bought the teethy condom, put am enter honey pot come tell the guy make e come chop honey with him 'tail'. When guy carry 'tail' enter honey pot, him eyes wide like gorilla own, come shout IIYYAAUUUWW!! Come hold 'tail' in serious pain. Girl come stand up come talk the man say- "good for you. I ask for just N20,000 you no gree. Serve you right". Come waka from the room de swing 'sewage tank' like female dog leaving the guy in serious pain. As for me, from now on before eating from any honey pot, pray against whitlow, finger the pot welu welu, wear rain coat, and then enter enjoy. The news didn't even say if the condom's teeth can penetrate 2 mens latex condom. (I doubt it can) ![]() |
Ogaga4Luv:We all see things in different ways. The longest fragile public infrastructures like public tv in heavy delta rain and harsh sunshine, street lights (some black out after six months coz they're solar powered), is two years while new toyota public taxi's either find their way into private garages, or have become battered after 4 years- coz corolla isn't meant for mass transit. Any Govt project ought to last for not less than seven years eg rural roads, power (some wards don't have light coz no transformer), upgrading out dated medical equipments, classroom/lecture blocks, a robust water agency/corporation instead of drilling scattered N20m solar powered boreholes. Imagine Delta doesn't have a water corporation. The warri park won't take less than 15 years to reach maturity. Anyway sha, i like d warri- asaba dublisation, and airport projects. Those ones are long lasting ![]() |
the grammar wey una guys de talk fit make professor of english kick bucket. I can't comphrehend all these rokoklo, togbasky, llya, keske, et al. Make una talk something wey person fit understand na |
006:I only used the civil war to point out reason why some igbo deny igbo. asha 80:As for the nzeogwu coup, it was asha80 that bought up that one. So how come you guys are accusing me of digressing? Na wa o ![]() |
Andre Uweh:Thanks for your suggestion. I'm wondering how i'll go back to january- six months ago to consult paddy lo (i'm just joking o) So who knows the meaning of ISHICHELI? |
udezue:I tire for this place o. I only used hutu thing as a side talk na. I didn't say any one bought genocide ah. We human being see the same thing in different ways. Its different strokes for different folks. d discussion has shifted from delta igbo denying igbo to the civil war and now the 1966 coup. I don't see the point in arguing over somethin that will get me nowhere. So i'm taking a break. ![]() |

Andre Uweh:I'm sorry sir. Correction accepted. But whom shall we vote in if uduaghan is voted out? Apart from one dreamy braduce angozie, no one has come out to indicate interest to contest. Ogaga4Luv:Almost like ibori. But while ibori builds concrete projects at grossly inflated sums, uduaghan just uses state funds to buy taxi's and buses, put street lights here and there (ought to be done by the LGA's and erecting public TV at junctions of major towns ![]() |
Andre Uweh:Give me 5 good reasons why i should vote for him. I haven't even seen his manifesto. |
Hello Nlanders. If you have interesting cultural folk tales or fables, you are welcomed to share it here. I made the suggestion on the Yoruba speaking thread but i feel it'll be more interesting if we all share tales or fables in language everyone can understand. Thanks. |
