As a means of funding the war between 1967 to 1970, the federal government reached all kinds of agreements with foreign multi national oil companies that totally sold this countrys energy resources to the oil companies. Some of the agreements are so absurd that you start to wonder how a Nigerian could sign such papers. For instance, even as we speak, Nigerian governments depend on 'estimated quotations' to claim earnings from the oil companies. How do i mean? Simple; oil companies extract oil, load that into oil tankers and then write to the federal government to say that on so so and so date we sold so so and so amount of barrels of oil. Then in most cases based on the quoted number, the oil companies take up-to 60% as their operational charge while we then run our budget with the left over.

Many foreign news media houses have characterized this as one of the biggest heist on going in the oil industry. There is no other major oil exporting country that is looted in this way. In-fact countries like Saudi Arabia and co have their oil sector dominated by state owned/indigenous firms. It is only in Nigeria that a state owned oil monopoly kept battling with bankruptcy for years. . What the Niger Delta communities don't know is that the oil companies don't really care about the host communities and their parent countries are in bed with Abuja. All the oil coys need do is to bankroll the campaign of one ruthless ex General who was privy to those agreements that allowed shell and co fund the war and who is ready to use maximum force to maintain peace in the Niger Delta and they are safe. This country has been raped blind. There was a reason why most of these big majors were disposing off their assets during the Jonathan years. If you noticed, all that seem to have stopped with the coming of the brutal one.

It is insane the way we allow ponzi houses to masquered as banks. , the way we allow scammers to own banks, the way tolerate banks that cant lend to the real sector of the economy because the profits are in import trade, yet talk about economic/industrial revolution all year long. It wont happen! Most bank owners(the Lagos mercenary press in their clannish stupor call them "doyens of the banking sector" are crooks who are into it to subsidize their owanbe pastime. Get the banks out of the hands of the crooks, ensure that only banks well capitalized can be authorized to function and retrieve the soul of the banking sector from foreign shylocks who are nothing but fronts for one ex this or ex that in Nigeria and enforce reasonably strong regulatory practices, then this over abused countrys financial system/economy will have a breathing space. China has how many big banks? 2 or 3? What is Nigeria doing with 25 stuupid banks

It is a bit early to start dealing with irritants.. I beleive my point was well made.. If you dont know, in places like China, Nigerias passport is treated with almost the same disdain as the Afghan passport or that of the Iraqis and Pakistanis. You can seat there and shout "drugz".. It is not just that. International media carry the activities of boko haram, shia massacres and fulani herdsmen. Add to that a president that arrests pastors, shoots at protesters, keeps mum over fulani herdsmen killings of mainly christians while talking trash about women and you have a dangerous mix that will attract more scrutiny to that your sickening green passport. The impression i get from your question is that you are in doubt that somehow Hell-rufai, the fulani elite and Buhari are not aware of what is going on or are not the planners and executors of what is going on. If that is the case, then you are little naive. Do you know what it takes for a group of killers with electronic gadgets to move from one location to the other killing and maiming and in some times coming back even after security agencies have been warned? You can trace them with the concentration of the mobile phone frequencies,. Even some that were arrested have been released. If you want to know know how easy it is for the security agencies to apprehend these guys, try kidnapping anybody related to a senior police officer or a senator or a governor and i can assure you that with 48 hours, they will smoke you out.
