Romanoff: If you know how many villages are between these towns that you mentioned, you go shock and these villages are where 60% of Abuja residents stay. Between Gwags and Lugbe, there are over twenty villages there.
Between Kubwa to Zuba, there are over 6 villages (that I know of).
All the towns you mentioned here are all under Abuja Municipal area council.
There are five other area councils and if you know the number of villages that are there ehn.
And many civil servants especially come from these places.
I do believe over time, Abuja will need a good transport system cause not everyone will be able to afford Abuja town, especially civil servants and low income earners. That's why the rail system and functioning bus transport system have to work.
That way, other Area councils will even develop faster if everyone sees there's no need to live in Abuja town. Here are my points: FCT has 6 LGs: Abaji, Abuja (Municipal Area Council), Bwari, Gwagwalada, Kuje, and Kwali. Abuja is where the major businesses/offices are situated. The majority of the working class in FCT moves to Abuja on weekdays, hence the traffic gridlock in and around Abuja. On weekends, Abuja roads are free. Other LGs roads in FCT are quieter. There is only one major road that leads to Abuja from each of these LGs. For example, Abaji, Gwags, and Kuje use the Lugbe road towards "City Gate," hence the gridlock. This is similar to the gridlock people experience in the 3rd Mainland bridge that links Island and Mainland in Lagos. In FCT, most working class (usually government workers) go to work around 9/10 am and that's when you experience the "poor transportation thing, " together with the evening period when people are coming back from work. Go out around 12-3 pm, the road will be free, and public transport will have trouble filling their cars with passengers. Also, public transport rarely moves except the cars/buses are filled. Even 9 passengers-SUVs mostly wait for like 30mins before the passengers are filled, then subsequently move to popular places. Now imagine, I want to go to work before 8 am, how long will I wait for public transport, especially Buses/BRT? I'd rather join a private car going my way. However, should there be more population, I believe small cars or BRT will be easily filled in no time, just like Lagos/Ibadan. In the alternative, businesses/offices (including federal government ones) should be encouraged to be situated in places outside Abuja. |

Romanoff: Few population you say?
Go to Nyanya Maraba area, you go shock. Even Kubwa Bwari axis sef, no be here. Lugbe and Airport road environs nko?
I've been in Abuja since 96, trust me, Abuja has become too populated. I don't believe so. Yes, the population might have increased over time, but still, the population is small when you consider FCT as a whole. After Gwags till you reach Lugbe has very little population, in fact, what you have mostly is virgin lands. After Lugbe, till you reach places like Area 1/Wuse/Berger/Federal Secretariat, etc., what you have are sprinkle estates that are filled with few people. Then after leaving Abuja metropolis, you have the Nyanya/Maraba area, then you start to enter Nasarawa proper. Roads leading to Kubwa/Zuba axis are mostly virgin lands, same as the Airport/Kuje axis. The thing is people are settled in various Local Governments of FCT very well, but major roads leading to them are still scanty with virgin lands. |

johnlaw123: I understand all you said, the masses are going through alot because of good transport system.
The fct administration should go back to the drawing board and implement good public transport system.
The price skyrocket everytime, with government cars the prices can be controlled.
My opinion though. The price is still okay if you compare it to somewhere like Lagos. Gwags to Berger/Area 1 is #500 and it's a 1hr journey. |

Romanoff: We are use to it. The public transport system has failed severally. The only one that worked was when we had the green buses but they were banned by El rufai cause they were beginning to be a nuisance like their Lagos counterpart.
El rufai introduced the urban mass buses called "El rufai buses" but lwck of maintenance culture, long waits for the bus, too much stops made it fail.
The private individuals that now pick people up also use it as a side hustle. They pick people on their way to work or place of business and also pick people up on their way home.
The money generated is used for fuel, food money, daily feeding allowance for the family, etc.
The bad side to it is, too many one chance has taken over. You won't know how you'll enter one chance.
Best way to avoid one chance people is to enter from any park with agberos. The agberos know the drivers to some extent. You're right. The buses are too big and the passengers are small in number. Even the small cars for public transport don't get filled up quickly, and the drivers won't want to move until they fill their cars. The alternative is to join any of the private cars that are going in your direction. I think the problem is that FCT as a whole still has few populations. And people only move from one end to another. |

The Method he used.
His boys will comment wit Tinubu's video (the bike video) on a targeted Twitter post (OLD POST) & search d handle on Google to buttress his claim.
Pix 2: the pix 2 is a result of searching Tundedaniel on Google.com. The results of both photos are similar with different date. Can we now say the video was released in 2009?
Stop Fake news! Na una kuku due give that Hundeyin boy popularity. When you remember the "boy" is only 32, and around 1999 when Tinubu became Governor of Lagos state, he was still a kid in primary school carrying oily plates and spoons inside a school bag with his note books, you will understand better. The boy is just a bitter soul, who is yet to achieve his dream, but instead of blaming himself, he wants to blame every successful people around him. Werey omo Eegun, omo irankiran. |

Agboriotejoye: Saraki and Adedibu were both godfathers. The line I'm drawing is their modus operandi. It's the same. You can choose to look at it from the angle of circumstantial or strongmen.
Go and check total number of votes in an election in Lagos compared to number of registered voters.
What I'm driving at is that if you claim Adedibu was not a strong political factor in Oyo, there are others who can also advance reasons to say Tinubu is not influential outside Lagos. Whatever makes you happy sha. But the fact is AD swept the whole of SW including presidency in 1999 and they lost out in 2003 except Lagos. If you now attribute AD success in Oyo state in 1999 to Adedibu, then let's agree to disagree. As for Tinubu's influence outside Lagos, Aregbesola, Dapo Abiodun, Babachair Lawal, Dogara, Oshiomole, Ngige, and many more can easily say "HI!" |

Agboriotejoye: And Ladoja getting kicked out? Akala's victory? You can make that argument for Adedibu as you can also make for Saraki. What is obvious is that they were playing the role of godfathers in their states. An argument can be made against Tinubu that he has always ensured voters in Lagos are disenfranchised through the use of thugs too.
Eleyi can also said to have won through the influence of APC's use of power of incumbency in the general elections. The influence of Tinubu in the primaries is due to Oshiomole as well. Tinubu's candidates have lost serially in Osun, Oyo, Ekiti and Ondo states. You're mumbling this thing together. Take it one after the other. What concern Saraki with Adedibu? Where is your evidence of Tinubu ensuring voters in Lagos are disenfranchised through the use of thugs? How's Eleyi won through the influence of APC's use of power of incumbency in the general elections? Did you even follow the sequence of events? How is the influence of Tinubu in the primaries is due to Oshiomole as well? Is Oshiomole even part of APC NWC during emergence of Tinubu as the party flagbearer? "Tinubu's candidates have lost serially in Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, and Ondo states" Where are you driving at here? |

Agboriotejoye: Adesina lost to Ladoja of PDP in 2003. Ladoja was backed by Adedibu. Ladoja was ousted for Akala when he had issues with Adedibu. If you say Adedibu only has influence in Ibadan, where is Tinubu's sphere of influence? It pass Lagos? In 2003, AD lost in all SW aside from Lagos, so with or without Adedibu Ladoja will still enter. If Tinubu doesn't have influence aside Lagos, a certain "Eleyi" of Ogun state will not be there today. |

Agboriotejoye: This is a weak clapback. It's obvious you didn't get her message. Do you mean the over 40% workforce without jobs do not have jobs because they are unemployable? You accused her of being condescending though He said he was hungry and angry, and I asked, is he jobless? If he's, can't he look for jobs? What you guys don't get is that you can't get a job if you don't apply for one. And it's not always common to get a good job on your first try. |
