Chiefupper: the problem I have is that I can't get that of 64 bit around me here (ilorin)So make do with the 32bit app man, you'll only notice a difference in a few apps |
Chiefupper: this was exactly what I was told by many people but when I later read through the casing of the second software I bought, I saw "32 bit only " on it so I thought it can not work vice versa64bit applications will not run on 32bit OS. The OS won't even accept the installation but would rather show an error message. |
Where's dyt? ![]() Haven't seen her today ![]() |
sharks776: Let me remind you that it is not just going to theWhen you need to do multiple withdrawal, then use your bank ATM which is completely free. How hard can it be? ![]() |
Chiefupper: good afternoon house, I wanted to install AutoCAD software on my system (window 7 ultimate 64 bit ) but I couldn't so when I checked the software case I discovered it was meant for 32 bit only, I have bought up to five software now and to my surprise they are all 32 bit, my question is is there no 64 bit software and if there is why is it that 32 bit are more common than 64 bit and finally which one is better in terms of function between the two? thanksMost programs designed for a computer running a 32-bit version of Windows will run fine on a computer running a 64-bit version of Windows. (Notable exceptions are antivirus programs.) However, most programs designed specifically for a 64-bit version of Windows will often run faster, especially if they involve intensive tasks such as editing high-definition video or operating a large database. |
UchihaMadara: Why is this even an issue? It's remote ATMs Y'all!!!!Thank you! I don't know why comprehension is so difficult for some people ![]() |
IfyAngela: When you are head over heels in love with someone, you could get blind to their faults and blind to the signs that should be obvious.Exactly my point! Those indicators are always there but people are always blinded by emotions. |
IfyAngela: What?U quoted me & said nothing so I'm wondering what's up |

![]() |
IfyAngela: Exactly, and people like that are good at manipulating. Not if you keep your eyes open and look beyond what you see. There are always signs that most people tend to ignore |
Just When you think d Govt will take things seriously, they surprise u.....How hard is it to secure a quarantine zone? Damn! ![]() And why exactly is the minister of health still keeping his job? ![]() No wonder nobody takes us seriously and everyone wants to use us as their lab rats. Very soon Haiti will come out with an experimental drug to test on us. |

Canada has so far produced only about 1,500 doses of vaccine, which has not been tested on humans Canada will donate a small quantity of an experimental Ebola vaccine developed in its government laboratory to the World Health Organization for use in Africa, the country’s health minister said on Tuesday. The decision to donate the vaccine came after the WHO said on Tuesday that it was ethical to offer untested drugs to people infected by the virus. The Canadian government will donate between 800 to 1,000 doses of the vaccine, with the final number dependent on how much Canada holds back for research and clinical trials. The government will also keep a small supply in case it is needed domestically. The health minister, Rona Ambrose, said she offered the vaccine to Dr Margaret Chan, director general of the WHO. The US is also working on a vaccine and the WHO and governments involved were discussing possible use in Africa, said Dr Greg Taylor, deputy chief public health officer of the Public Health Agency of Canada. Canada only had about 1,500 animal doses of the vaccine, which it invented a few years ago, and would need four to six months to make a large quantity, he said. The government’s vaccine is separate from the treatment being developed by Canada’s Tekmira Pharmaceuticals. “We see this as a global resource, something we need to put on the global table to say ... how can we make best use of this asset? We’re looking to do that as fast as we can,” Taylor said. The Ebola outbreak is the world’s largest and deadliest. So far, 1,013 people have died, the vast majority in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The Canadian vaccine, which the agency licensed for commercialisation to the US firm BioProtection Systems, a unit of Newlink Genetics, has proved effective in animals but has never been tested in humans, Taylor said. Last week, NewLink said BioProtection had a contract with the US Department of Defense for studies to bring the Canadian Ebola vaccine closer to human testing. “We’ve been trying to figure out how we can make a contribution in the fight against this disease and get our vaccine into the clinic,” Brian Wiley, NewLink vice-president of business development, told Reuters. “A large amount of work still needs to be done, but when there is a dire need the powers that be move at a quicker pace.” Taylor did not specify which of several US vaccines in development he was referring to that might be used in Africa along with the Canadian vaccine. Profectus BioSciences of Tarrytown, New York, had tested its Ebola vaccine in monkeys with good results, its chief science officer John Eldridge said on Tuesday. But deciding whether to use an experimental drug on humans was “very difficult,” Taylor said. “You really don’t know how safe it is, you don’t know what the side effects are going to be. But in this extraordinary circumstance in Africa right now, we’re trying to do everything we can to assist.” The first doses in Africa would probably be available to healthcare workers, Taylor said. The Public Health Agency of Canada was also involved in the development of ZMapp, an experimental Ebola treatment that has been used to treat two infected American aid workers. Liberia said on Tuesday it would get the drug to treat two doctors. http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/aug/13/ebola-canada-donate-experimental-vaccine-africa |
